YMCA Camp Surf, one of 3 overnight camps with YMCA of San Diego County, is a spectacular ocean-front camp just south of San Diego, CA. This 45 acre treasure offers one-week and two-week overnight sessions for 3rd through 11th grades as well as one-week day camp sessions.

Camp Surf is perfect for all skill levels! Combine these with traditional camp activities including archery, climbing tower, teambuilding, campfires, cookouts, and crafts. Two-week teen programs head off-site on short bike excursions and an overnight surf and camping trip to San Onofre State Park.
Our staff are committed to working with children and teens to help them develop the skills and relationships they will need to be confident, healthy, and connected as they grow. Camp Surf adds laughter, leadership, and lifelong memories to a host of activities. While the ocean is certainly a big draw and part of camp, we are not strictly a surf camp. The value and benefits of the YMCA Camp Surf experience extends far beyond that. Residential Coed Summer Camp, ages 8-22

For over 45 years SOAR has offered high adventure summer camps designed specifically for youth, young adults (and families) between the ages of 8 and 25 with ADHD and/or other Learning Differences such as autism level 1, dyslexia, anxiety, or dysgraphia. Whether you want a 6 day adventure or a 21 day trip, there are options for everyone. SOAR staff are dedicated, patient instructors who are trained to work with this population of campers.
Our camps offer activities including backpacking, horseback riding, surfing, caving, snorkeling, llama trekking, study skills and more, for beginners and beyond, located across the country's most scenic places. The two SOAR basecamps are in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western Balsam, North Carolina and the wild and wonderful Dubois, Wyoming. Alpengirl is an overnight summer adventure camp for youth ages 11-17. Our 1 or 2 week outdoor camps are in the Pacific Northwest, Northern Rocky Mountains, New England, and Europe.
