We engage campers with a synergy of learning and gaming activities through STEM academics and eSports. All of our year-round faculty have at least bachelor's degrees and the remaining instructors are in possession or pursuit thereof. We teach our campers in small groups with a ratio of 6:1 in order to encourage learning and allowing them to move at their own pace.
It's also summer and time for some fun and relaxation. So, between their classes they can play an FPS, RTS or MOBA match in the media lab, take a swim in the pool, play some Magic the Gathering, or claim a seat and grab a controller to race, fight, and battle your way to glory on the camp's leader-board. Please visit www.gamecamp.com for details. Join us this summer at a location near you!
Residential coed summer camp
Ashford, Connecticut
Established in 1987
The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, founded by Paul Newman in 1988, is a nonprofit residential summer camp, an ingeniously designed and dazzlingly equipped Wild West hideout in northeastern Connecticut, where children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses do not have to sit on the sidelines. More than 1,000 children between the ages of seven and fifteen from across the country and abroad attend each year, free of charge.

At stage night, awards night, carnival day, the camp dance, and through "cabin chats," and camp songs and celebrations at every meal, campers inspire each other.
