ADTC is open to dancers of ALL levels. Campers take four dance classes daily and at week's end they get to show off their new moves in a big Friday night performance for family, friends and fellow campers.

Outside of class, ADTC campers can enjoy swimming, hiking, horseback riding, tennis, paintball, kayaking, team events and more.

The Fashion Class

Coed Day Camp, ages 6-12

Our kids, tween and teen summer camps combine the best parts of fashion and design for ages 6-12 and 13-17 years old. Limited to up to 12 campers per age group, our one-of-a-kind "boutique" camp teaches students how to sew, design and style their own garments in one (or more) weeks this summer.

During sewing class, fashion campers learn to use a sewing machine (complete with finger guards and speed control!) plus layout a pattern, measure and cut fabric. Plus, we go beyond the sewing machine with a big-picture introduction to fashion. Campers learn sewing skills along with illustration, merchandising, fashion history, the business of fashion, entrepreneurship, and some DIY! All lessons are age appropriate, easy to understand and hands on.

Our specialized curriculum—developed in partnership with pattern makers, illustrators, and educators over ten years—is designed around what works best for kids!
