Kippewa Equestrian Academy is a 12-day fully-immersive experience, offered twice a summer for girls entering 4th – 11th grades who really love horses! Girls of all ability levels are welcome. Located in a unique setting with cabins overlooking the horse turn-outs and rings. Instruction and individual attention is tailored to each rider's level. We teach Huntseat/English style riding. Main focus is helping campers improve or advance their equestrian skills and knowledge with mounted lessons and instruction in horsemanship, horse training, and barn management. Safety is a top priority. We follow safety standards of the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).
Daily schedule also includes horse care: cleaning, grooming, tacking/un-tacking, feeding, and learning about horse anatomy and development. In addition to their expertise, our staff provide the individual attention, caring, and fun you find in traditional camp settings!

For both camps, Lake Cobbosseecontee is the perfect setting for top-notch Water Sports instruction in waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking. Our programs also offer a variety of Land Sports including tennis, gymnastics, softball and lacrosse. Campers enjoy the natural setting of Maine with beach days, wilderness hikes, white water rafting, canoe trips and more.
