A Camping Tradition Since 1914, Camp Dixie provides a supportive, family-like environment by limiting its enrollment. Considered conservative and traditional, our summer residential program is designed for children between the ages of 6 to 15. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northeast Georgia, about 2 hours north of Atlanta in Clayton at an elevation of 3000 feet, We limit our enrollment to 70 campers, a 4 to 1 ratio, and pair them with kids their own age in a cabin with a counselor (college aged student).

We give your child a prime opportunity to escape from the modern-day stressors and let them experience an outdoor adventure nestled in the mountains. We offer numerous activities like archery, canoeing, camp crafts (outdoor survival), drama, arts & crafts, dance, sports, and much more which will give your child an opportunity to do something they are comfortable with as well as branch out and try new things. The real adventure begins when your child leaves their electronics at home and immerses their selves into a non-stop, fun filled week(s) at Camp Dixie with caring counselors and the close-knit family atmosphere.
