Wellspring Vancouver will teach teens ages 11 - 18 from around Canada and the United States, including those in the Pacific Northwest, how to live a healthy lifestyle. Using the picturesque setting and local adventure options, Wellspring campers will hike, bike, climb, kayak, rappel, as well as participate in more traditional camp activities and sports - soccer, volleyball, scavenger hunts, Color War, and personal training.
Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Small living groups of 6 to 7 are part of the uniqueness of this wilderness horse camp. Each camper will practice a learn-by-doing approach, the camp philosophy. The camp sessions are limited to 18 campers and 6 leadership campers. Each camper is assigned their own horse to ride and care for during their stay. Daily trail rides and an overnight trail ride are the highlights of this camp. Campers will also learn to live in harmony with nature while learning outdoor living skills necessary for their overnight trail ride. This is a one of a kind camp in the Northwest!
