Wilderness travel, paddling and sailing are the core components to our expeditions, and students leave with a solid foundation of skills so that they can pursue and become competent in these activities in the future. DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. Residential summer horse camp for boys & girls ages 10-16Camp Wahoo!...Designed for kids that love horses and the outdoors. The beautfiul North Fork of the Teanaway River northeast of Cle Elum is the home of Camp Wahoo! and is operated by High Country Outfitters.
Small living groups of 6 to 7 are part of the uniqueness of this wilderness horse camp. Each camper will practice a learn-by-doing approach, the camp philosophy. The camp sessions are limited to 18 campers and 6 leadership campers. Each camper is assigned their own horse to ride and care for during their stay. Daily trail rides and an overnight trail ride are the highlights of this camp. Campers will also learn to live in harmony with nature while learning outdoor living skills necessary for their overnight trail ride. This is a one of a kind camp in the Northwest! Camp Nor'wester has provided memorable summers to 1000's of kids since 1935. Our program is focused on getting outside, living with simple comforts; doing things that require less technology and more personal effort. Our activities are considered traditional: arts and crafts, drama, archery, and ropes course, with lots of outdoor activities like sailing, kayaking, hiking and overnight camping trips.

Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).

Summer fun with a French accent since 1969. Learn French while enjoying the fun of resident camp on a private island in the San Juan Islands. French is taught at all levels by French and American staff to campers, ages 9-16. Take part in fencing, archery, sailing, kayaking, photography, theater, art, marine biology, and French cuisine during 2- and 3-week sessions. Facilities include a swimming pool, game room, sports field and tennis court.
The French meals, including a 7-course Bon Voyage banquet, are not your average camp fare! With only 45 campers per session and a camper:staff ratio of 3:1, everyone gets individual attention. Airport pick up and drop off. Financial aid available. The whole family can share the fun for 4 days over Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
