For over 80 years it has been owned and run by educators who know and listen to children. Killooleet is a "traditional camp" (varied activities, full season, weekly hikes and two overnight trips) that goes its own way in a non-traditional manner. Camp is non-competitive and highly individual. Strong cabin groups are built through working and playing together. With about 100 campers, Killooleet is small enough so that everyone knows each other and friendships develop between campers of different ages who share the same interests.
At Killooleet, half the activities are in sports (waterfront, team and individual) and half are in studio and performing arts. We all explore the beauty of Vermont for ten days over the summer, on foot, bicycle, canoe and horseback.

Campers make life-long friends, develop self-confidence, achieve independence, and leave camp with lasting memories filled with fun and spirit. Within the predictability and structure of the camp program, campers enjoy ample opportunity for choice and specialization.

Night Eagle Wilderness AdventuresNight Eagle Wilderness Adventures is a unique primitive summer camp for boys. At Night Eagle, we live in tipis and do things that boys did hundreds of years ago - learn survival skills (fire making with flint & steel or bow drills, plant identification, tracking), create all sorts of craft items (birchbark baskets, moccasins), go on hikes, canoe, swim, and play lots of games (Buffalo Robe, Stalk the Chief and Slack 'Em to name a few)!
Through these activities and the slower pace of life in camp, boys naturally develop a deeper respect for the land and an authentic sense of personal accomplishment as they learn to live competently in the woods.
Night Eagle is a different kind of camp based on mutual responsibility and cooperation. Through community living and group decision making, boys learn to live and play together in a spirit of cooperation rather than competition. ACA accredited camp.
