Learn first-hand how industry pros create premier video games at this summer gaming camp. Ages 13-18 immerse in the dynamic world of video game development. Teens choose from one of four courses: Modeling & Animation with Maya, Programming for Game Consoles, Level Design - Unreal Engine 3 and Flash Scripting for Web Games. Get ready for late-night gaming tournaments! Participants will tour a game studio and talk to game developers. Locations include Stanford, Villanova, Emory, Lake Forest (Chicago) and UW (Seattle).

Xploration offers expert instruction in the arts, sciences, popular culture and dozens of fascinating subjects specially selected for the interests of middle school students.
Xploration Workshops cover an incredibly wide range of interesting subjects. This is your chance to discover new ideas, skills and experiences in a friendly atmosphere of exploration and growth. DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. Filmtech Teen Film Day Camp
Coed Day CampFilmtech's summer teen filmmaking camps are a great way for your child to have fun, be creative and learn how to write, shoot and edit a video project. Open to 13-to-18-year-olds, our camps teach the fundamentals of the collaborative process of moviemaking as the students work together all week as a crew.
Your child will learn how story structure, character and plot work together to tell a story as they write a short script. They then work with our directing instructors and bring the script to life in front of the camera by learning how to work with actors, gather light and sound, operate the camera and set up their shots. Finally, the crew edits the video on Final Cut Pro software and finishes the week with a DVD of their work.
