Camp Ramaquois is tucked into the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Pomona, New York (Rockland County). Tall trees, rolling hills, babbling brooks, and mountain ranges surround our magnificent 44 acres and our 5 acre, crystalline spring-fed lake. We are only 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge via the scenic Palisades Parkway and 15 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Our main goal is to provide Ramaquois campers with a healthy, happy and rewarding summer experience. Each child's camp experience plays a very important role in his/her maturation. Our campers are encouraged to experience new skills, work with their peers and counselors, develop independence and assume responsibility.

Phillies Baseball Academy

The Phillies Baseball Academy offers campers (ages 6-14) an unforgettable baseball experience, an experience they will treasure for a lifetime. During each magical week, campers feel like real Major Leaguers as they take the field in their very own official Phillies uniform and learn from baseball's best. This unique, action-packed camp features top-notch instruction and demonstrations from our experienced Phillies Baseball Academy coaching staff. Our program is designed to meet the needs and ability level of individual campers. All aspects of the game are covered in an atmosphere of sportsmanship and spirited competition.
Each one-week camp takes place at one of our great locations throughout the summer. Camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. "Extra Innings," our extended day baseball training program, is available daily from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

At TSH we facilitate children learning life long skills such as responsibility, compassion, gentle communication, teamwork and the joys of success through interactions with horses and quality staff.
Boys and girls from 3 years old to 15 year olds participate in daily horseback riding lessons, horse care lessons, and a stable period for the older campers, Red cross swimming twice a day and choose from a variety of sports and arts, such as tennis, gymnastics, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, archery, dance and drama.

Coed Day CampThe Fencers Club Summer Day Camp is a great chance for kids to combine mornings of entertaining educational activities with afternoons engaged with the exciting, fast-paced sport of modern fencing.
Creative writing: Learn to write expressively without constraints. The curriculum will be created by Bruno Navasky, a poet, teacher, author of several books and a writer for the New York Times Sunday Book Review. Math games and logical puzzle solving: Math games and puzzle solving teach fundamentals of mathematical thinking outside of a formal curriculum. The program is designed for us by a group of Harvard math/physics graduates who have extensive tutoring experience and love logical games. Chess: Learn to play chess in a program designed and supervised by Bruce Pandolfini, one of the most highly regarded chess teachers in the US (depicted in the movie Searching for Bobby Fisher). Instruction and game-play at all levels.
FENCING CLASS- Choose your weapon: Epee, Foil or Sabre- Modern fencing is a dynamic, exciting sport. Fencing teaches discipline, grace, agility and strategy. In our new state-of-the art, fully air-conditioned facility in Chelsea, students of all levels of experience will work with our famous coaches. Learn the fundamentals and then get on the strip and try to outsmart your opponent in a classic battle!

Oasis Summer Day Camp on the North Shore of Long Island is for boys and girls ages 4-11. Children are grouped by age. Oasis also offers our popular Teen Travel program for young people ages 12-14, which gives emerging teens the opportunity to take a unique trip every day.
Oasis provides children with a traditional summer camp experience that includes sports and recreation, visual and performing arts, swimming and field trips, and an outdoor education component that includes environmental studies, orienteering and much more.

Campers enjoy all kinds of waterfront activities: Chingachgook's extensive lakefront includes two 80-foot docks, a fleet of 70 canoes, kayaks, row boats, sailboats, and water-ski boats.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2010 season begins on June 28th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.

Coed Day CampLocated on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire, the LWSA runs a summer Sailing School for children from 8 to 16 years of age. We also have an introductory 1/2 day program for 6 and 7 year olds as well as adult sailing lessons. With a fleet of over twenty sailboats, we have a boat and a program for all interests, abilities and means. Join our exciting sailing program and learn how to sail!

Gifted students in grades K-12 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at some of the most famous colleges and universities in the country such as Princeton University, Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley, SIG has the best well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities.
