Mill Basin is dedicated to providing an exciting and fulfilling camp experience for both children and their parents by providing of fun, recreational, social and educational activities.
Our modern, fully air-conditioned facility offers a wide range of activities for children entering Pre-K thru 9th grade in the upcoming September scholastic year. There are Five individual camp programs. Each camp has its own unique and innovative program that best suits the needs of the varying ages of our campers. The entire family is invited to come in for a tour of the facility and to discuss the camp program at length.

World of Discovery Day Camp
Coed summer day campA fun day camp with a great staff that offers door to door bus transportation in the borough of Queens, New York. Private outdoor pools, baseball, basketball, soccer, dodgeball, olympics, computers, talent shows, dance, games, instructional swim, amusement parks, skating, laser tag, archery and more.
Ages 4-15, Camp season begins in July and ends in August. Two-eight week programs available.
NYC Summer Space Camp
Coed Day Camp
What's it like to be an astronaut? What are the challenges of living in space? Find out at Space Camp! In a week packed with hands on excitement, campers will train as pilots using simulators in our NASA Aerospace Education Lab. They'll build and program NXT LEGO robots; design, construct and launch rockets; and enter the world of remote control helicopters. These activities are done in preparation for their ultimate mission: a simulated space adventure. Campers will fly a mission to rendezvous with a comet, or land a futuristic spacecraft on Mars!

The Camp Invention program is a nationally acclaimed weeklong summer enrichment day experience for children entering in grades one through six that is free to schools and organizations nationwide. The top priority of the Camp Invention program is to provide quality enrichment programming in the fields of science, mathematics, history, and the arts.
Local schools host the program and the week's hands-on activities are led by local teachers to ensure a safe learning environment. The staff to child ratio is 1:8! Located on our beautifully landscaped 77-acre campus, the programs offer instruction in a number of different activities. A staff of certified instructors - aided by college students experienced in sports and education - will help your child learn new activities, improve other skills, and have an unforgettable summer.

This summer we are offering programs in Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Acting, Editing and Special FX for ages 8 - 17. The Filmmakers Ink programs offer courses that train young filmmakers at four different skill levels and are designed to grow with their expanding knowledge of filmmaking.
