Summers are for having fun. It's a time to spend with friends, make memories and share experiences that last a lifetime. That's what Mill Basin Day Camp is all about. Mill Basin is dedicated to providing an exciting and fulfilling camp experience for both children and their parents by providing of fun, recreational, social and educational activities.
Our staff consists of professionals, many of whom continue to work in child related fields throughout the year. Our directorial staff is comprised of licensed NYC Department of Education teachers and deans in various elementary and high schools. We equip our staff and facility with the latest and most modern safety and technological products in order to maintain constant contact and security both on and off the camp facility. Our modern, fully air-conditioned facility offers a wide range of activities for children entering Pre-K thru 9th grade in the upcoming September scholastic year. There are Five individual camp programs. Each camp has its own unique and innovative program that best suits the needs of the varying ages of our campers. The entire family is invited to come in for a tour of the facility and to discuss the camp program at length.

Oasis is a comprehensive camp and educational day camp and summer program that uses the wonderful resources found throughout a variety of open spaces to provide children with an extraordinary outdoor experience at an exceptional value. Oasis staff is a mixture of teachers, coaches, college students and program specialists. The Oasis adult to child ratio is 1:5. Oasis has been featured in the New York Times, WB11 news and MTV. The philosophy of Oasis is to create safe, physical play spaces for children which they be engaged in enriching summer activities without having to travel far from home at a fraction of the cost of other private day camp programs. National Computer Camps

Where learning and fun are rolled into one. . . Now in our 32nd year, National Computer Camp is America's original computer camp since 1977. The focus at NCC is 2D and 3D video game design, computer programming, digital video production, web page design, A+ and Network+ certification and software applications including networking, animation, Flash and graphics. Each week we offer all levels of programming in Basic, C++, Java, Assembler, HTML, XML, OpenGL and JavaScript.
Campers may attend one or multi-week sessions with a continuous curriculum that is age appropriate and suitable for beginners to super advanced. Each summer the world famous New York Film Academy Film and Acting Camps give hundreds of high school students an unforgettable and transformative experience in Filmmaking, Acting and 3-D Animation. Our high school camps are designed for students with little or no previous filmmaking, acting or animation experience. They are hands-on intensive workshops that teach all aspects of the filmmaking process - writing, shooting, directing, and editing is taught by award winning instructors.
Camp season opens in June and ends in August. 1, 3, 4 or 6-week Sessions. Ages 14-17.

Chelsea Piers, Manhattan's premier destination for youth sports, is home to 12 specialty sports camps for children and teens, ages 3 to 17 years. Camp Ramaquois is tucked into the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Pomona, New York (Rockland County). Tall trees, rolling hills, babbling brooks, and mountain ranges surround our magnificent 40 acres and our 5 acre, crystalline spring-fed lake. We are only 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge via the scenic Palisades Parkway and 15 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Our main goal is to provide Ramaquois campers with a healthy, happy and rewarding summer experience. Each child's camp experience plays a very important role in his/her maturation. Our campers are encouraged to experience new skills, work with their peers and counselors, develop independence and assume responsibility.

A choice that can change your child's life! Hofstra Specialty Camp offers a broad spectrum of co-ed specialty camps-with the flexibility to register for two, four, six or seven-week sessions- for children entering Kindergarten through 9th grade. Hofstra Sports Academy Camp is for campers whose interests are strictly athletic, and are supervised by Hofstra's well-known, NCAA coaching staff; train with the best! For children entering second through 12th grades, we offer sports academy camps in co-ed baseball, girls' basketball, boys' basketball, boys' lacrosse, softball, soccer, dance and cheer camps. In both camps, our goal is to assist in the development of the whole child-educationally, athletically, artistically, and socially. Hofstra Summer Camps combine the excitement of our wide-ranging curriculum with the professionalism of our distinguished and caring instructors.
Specialty campers choose one specialty each two-week session. Campers may participate in the specialty camps for two, four or six weeks. Campers spend one-half of each day participating in their area of specialization and the other half in planned recreational activities, which includes a period of instructional swim in our Olympic-sized pool. Additionally, a special end-of-the season, one-week program (Session 4) is offered for youngsters who wish to engage in a full-day camp program.

The Fencers Club Summer Day Camp is a great chance for kids to combine mornings of entertaining educational activities with afternoons engaged with the exciting, fast-paced sport of modern fencing.
Creative writing: Learn to write expressively without constraints. The curriculum will be created by Bruno Navasky, a poet, teacher, author of several books and a writer for the New York Times Sunday Book Review. Math games and logical puzzle solving: Math games and puzzle solving teach fundamentals of mathematical thinking outside of a formal curriculum. The program is designed for us by a group of Harvard math/physics graduates who have extensive tutoring experience and love logical games. Chess: Learn to play chess in a program designed and supervised by Bruce Pandolfini, one of the most highly regarded chess teachers in the US (depicted in the movie Searching for Bobby Fisher). Instruction and game-play at all levels.
FENCING CLASS- Choose your weapon: Epee, Foil or Sabre- Modern fencing is a dynamic, exciting sport. Fencing teaches discipline, grace, agility and strategy. In our new state-of-the art, fully air-conditioned facility in Chelsea, students of all levels of experience will work with our famous coaches. Learn the fundamentals and then get on the strip and try to outsmart your opponent in a classic battle!
