Programs are offered to students ages 7 through 18 and include both day and residential programs. Adventures involve wilderness programs, rock climbing, caving, biking, building projects, white water and ocean paddling in canoes, rafts and/or kayaks and more.
Camp QuinebargeQuinebarge - a small camp that soon feels like a big family to both campers and staff. Living, playing and learning together builds friendships fast- friendships that often last a lifetime. Our 70 acres of woods and fields and 1500 feet of waterfront offer everything a traditional camp should as electives the camper chooses: Archery, Field Sports, Tennis, Volleyball and Mountain Bikes let us work up a sweat, High and Low Ropes Challenge Course,the Zip Line; our Climbing Tower; Gymnastics and Aerobics all tune our balance and spatial skills and build strength, teamwork, and confidence almost un-noticed, while teaching safety and caution as we work up a sweat!
Swimming Instruction, Free Swims, Canoeing and Kayaking, Paddleboats and Water Bikes let us cool off. Woodshop, Arts & Crafts and Ceramics let us create, and our Nature Program and Horesback Riding help us learn respect for our fellow creatures and the life around us. Our trip program has people out on hikes or overnights or river trips almost daily, and each week the whole camp takes a special trip together. Quinebarge - a camp where kids have fun!
Lake Winnipesaukee Youth Sailing SchoolLocated on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire, the LWSA runs a summer Sailing School for children from 8 to 16 years of age. With a fleet of over twenty sailboats, we have a boat and a program for all interests, abilities and means. Join our exciting sailing program and learn how to sail!
Our campers take part in on-water training and classroom training, races, regattas, and sail to local islands on Lake Winni. Our trained instructors provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere!
Digital Media Academy Summer Computer CampsAccredited by Stanford University, DMA is "The Summer Digital Art and Technology Camp for Kids and Teens!" DMA is ideal for students of all ages wanting exposure to the most relevant software used in Hollywood and the entertainment industry, video game design, and web design while gaining hands-on experience under the eye of accomplished professionals. Whether to explore a possible career path, gain practical skills or just have an incredible time with friends, DMA is unparalleled.
DMA offers day and overnight courses in weekly and multi-week sessions for youth, age 7-18. DMA courses accommodate a wide variety of digital media interests in a more sophisticated learning environment than other summer computer camps. All courses are project based and taught by accomplished professionals who have a passion for inspiring young minds. An average student to instructor ratio of 6 to 1 allows for plenty of individual attention as students explore, create and immerse themselves.
Teen courses include Robotics, Digital Filmmaking, 3D Animation, Web Production, Programming, and Music and Video Production - just to name a few. Youth courses (called Digital Media Adventures) include Robotics, Digital Filmmaking, Game Creation, Web Design & Flash, Cartoon & Comic Book Creation and Surfing & Filmmaking.
Camp TuckernuckNestled among tall pines and hemlocks on the shore of Deering Lake, Camp Tuckernuck offers a traditional summer camp program. Activities including swimming, canoeing, sailing, kayaking, art and music, creative writing, arts and crafts, cooking, woodcrafts, theatre, archery, team sports, hiking, fishing. Adventure expeditions throughout New England and international programs are also offered.
At Tuckernuck, campers work together in small groups. They are guided by trained teachers and counselors who foster group decision-making, concern for others and an appreciation for the natural environment. Tuckernuck is the perfect setting for campers who have a sense of adventure and love exploration in the great outdoors.
