Join us this summer at Oasis on the North Shore Summer Day Camp located at Tully Park in New Hyde Park, Nassau County Long Island. Tully Park has an incredible collection of recreational facilities including tennis and basketball courts, softball fields, soccer fields, a running track, and a sports stadium.
Oasis Summer Day Camp on the North Shore of Long Island is for boys and girls ages 4-11. Children are grouped by age. Oasis also offers our popular Teen Travel program for young people ages 12-14, which gives emerging teens the opportunity to take a unique trip every day.
Oasis provides children with a traditional summer camp experience that includes sports and recreation, visual and performing arts, swimming and field trips, and an outdoor education component that includes environmental studies, orienteering and much more.

Live your Rock Star dreams this summer! Whether you're a beginner or a more advanced player, DayJams offers you the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. You'll work with professional musicians and teachers in a friendly and creative environment.
DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. Our professional staff of music teachers, art teachers, and counselors is committed to providing a safe, fun-filled week of music and creativity.

The Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center believes that the real "value" of camp is the value of friendship. Situated on over 350 sprawling acres at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in Wheatley Heights, Long Island, the Mid-Island Y JCC's summer programs emphasize caring, sharing and respect with friends old and new. Whether your child is enrolled in one of our day camps, sports camps, Aspire Program for children with special needs or theatre camp, each offers an action-packed schedule. Coed horsemanship day campThomas School Summer Day Camp is a small camp filled with over 65 years of tradition. At TSH we facilitate children learning life long skills such as responsibility, compassion, gentle communication, teamwork and the joys of success through interactions with horses and quality staff.
Boys and girls from 3 years old to 15 year olds participate in daily horseback riding lessons, horse care lessons, and a stable period for the older campers, Red cross swimming twice a day and choose from a variety of sports and arts, such as tennis, gymnastics, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, archery, dance and drama.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2010 season begins on June 28th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.
