Every day at Coastal Camp is an opportunity for adventure and discovery in the outdoors. Campers engage their curious minds and boundless energy by exploring and investigating the natural world. Coastal Camp finds the place where play and learning meet by combining marine and coastal ecology with hands-on activities, crafts, group games, and hikes exploring the Marin Headlands.

Learn first-hand how industry pros create premier video games at this summer gaming camp. Ages 13-18 immerse in the dynamic world of video game development. Teens choose from one of four courses: Modeling & Animation with Maya, Programming for Game Consoles, Level Design - Unreal Engine 3 and Flash Scripting for Web Games. Get ready for late-night gaming tournaments! Participants will tour a game studio and talk to game developers. Locations include Stanford, Villanova, Emory, Lake Forest (Chicago) and UW (Seattle).

Live your Rock Star dreams this summer! Whether you're a beginner or a more advanced player, DayJams offers you the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. You'll work with professional musicians and teachers in a friendly and creative environment.
DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. Our professional staff of music teachers, art teachers, and counselors is committed to providing a safe, fun-filled week of music and creativity.

Digital Media Academy Summer Computer Camps

Accredited by Stanford University, DMA is "The Summer Digital Art and Technology Camp for Kids and Teens!" DMA is ideal for students of all ages wanting exposure to the most relevant software used in Hollywood and the entertainment industry, video game design, and web design while gaining hands-on experience under the eye of accomplished professionals. Whether to explore and area of interest, gain practical skills for the future or just have an incredible time with friends, DMA is unparalleled.
DMA offers day and overnight courses in the US and Canada in weekly and multi-week sessions for youth, age 6-18. DMA courses accommodate a wide variety of digital media interests in a more sophisticated learning environment than other summer computer camps. All courses are project based and taught by industry professionals and classroom teachers who have a passion for inspiring young minds. An average student to instructor ratio of 6 to 1 allows for plenty of individual attention as students explore, create and immerse themselves in an environment that is more like a production studio than a classroom.
Our programs are separated out by age groups: Teens (13-17), Pre-Teens (11-14), Kids programs called Digital Media Adventures (9-12), and Jr. Adventures (6-8). Course topics include game design, digital filmmaking, digital photography, web design, 3d animation, and visual effects.
TechKnowHow Summer Computer and LEGO(TM) Camps
Coed Day CampFun and enriching technology classes for students, with experienced staff and terrific projects! Courses include LEGO and K'NEX Projects with Motors, Robotics, Game Design, and 3D modeling. Ages 6-16. Half and all-day options. Weekly camps begin in mid-June and run through August (see our website for specific dates). Locations include San Francisco, Burlingame, San Mateo, Palo Alto, Cupertino, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Fremont, Livermore and Pleasanton.

Douglas Ranch Camp is an 80+ year old, family owned and operated, traditional residential & day coed camp. Residential camp is for ages 7-14 and Day camp is for 5-14. We are located on 120 acres in beautiful Carmel Valley, CA. Our unique 4 to 1 ratio of campers to staff provides individualized attention for each child in a structured program of classes in Western riding, swimming, tennis, archery, riflery and crafts. Counselors from across the US and around the world are chosen for their experience working with children, coaching sports, and having values that make them excellent role models. They help campers build self-confidence and social skills to last a lifetime, while encouraging them to try new experiences in a nurturing environment.
Different evening activities from barn dancing, themed days and costume parties to overnight camp-outs round out the fun! Douglas also offers a Friends & Family Weekend at the end of August each summer.
Camp Del Oro
Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Camp Del Oro is located in the Sierra mountians of northen California. We are a Salvation army camp and our Christian ministry is with underprivildged children ages 7 to 15 years old. In the five day sessions the campers will be able to swim in a lake and pool, boating, crafts, ropes course, archery, hiking, dance, basketball and field games. Our 45 staff come from all over the world to give the campers a safe and fun environment. It is a ten week program ending the middle of August.
