Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the mountains of North Carolina, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. Our qualified and caring staff are able leaders, dedicated to providing each child with an exciting summer of adventure, while maintaining the highest standards of safety in all programs.
Our program consists of over 35 on-camp activities with five primary disciplines including sports, waterfront, arts, horseback riding and wilderness experience. One thing that makes Camp Highlander so unique is our wonderful off-camp adventures. Whitewater rafting trips to the Nantahala River, overnights in Pisgah Forest, water-skiing at Lake Keowee, swimming in the beautiful waterfalls and Looking Glass Falls…taking our campers into the magical Appalachian mountains is the highlight of their experience. At Camp Highlander, we are committed to teaching our campers a deep respect for nature and an increased awareness of not only themselves, but of their peers and surroundings.

Conveniently situated in the Arbuckle Mountains, Camp Classen is a dynamic and safe coed summer camp for ages 8-17. Only the most mature role models are selected as staff and highly trained to run programs such as aquatics, western horseback riding, outdoor living skills, and other traditional camp activities such as archery, riflery and crafts. Camp Classen has adventure trips and ranch camp for 13-16 year olds and Leadership Development Programs for 17 year olds.

Camp Cosby YMCA

Since 1922, YMCA Camp Cosby has set the standard of excellence in quality overnight camping in the Southeast. Located only one hour from Birmingham and two hours from Atlanta, boys and girls ages 6-16 have the opportunity to grow, learn, and challenge themselves during week long sessions. Camp staff provide a friendly, safe, diverse, and most of all fun community that includes a mix of cabin life and traditional camp activities. As part of our mission, all campers have the opportunity to experience every activity at Camp Cosby for one low tuition cost.
Our sessions include over 20 activities such as horseback riding, mini bikes, archery, tubing, wake boarding, aqua jump, water sports, the blob, Alpine tower, water skiing, Iceberg and specialty camps. A fun camp for students ages 9 to 15 who are interested in aquatic or marine sciences. The program includes a mixture of educational and recreational activities. Activities include aquatic biology and water chemistry, swimming, tubing, scuba/snorkeling, river rafting, glass-bottom boat ride, Sea World and more.

Residential coed summer camp for children with a parent in prison
New Hope is an Oklahoma-based prison ministry for children who have a parent in prison. These children are seven times more likely to end up in prison themselves. Our mission is to empower these children and their families to create a healthy future in the hopes of ending the generational cycle of incarceration.
This camp offers creative education and life skills as children enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, arts and crafts, sports and chapel. Caregivers receive a much needed break. The camp is limited to 40 children so counselors can coach and mentor individual campers.

At Camp Olympia's Junior Golf Academy, boys & girls ages 8-16 receive PGA instruction and have access to the nationally acclaimed Whispering Pines Golf Club. All skill levels are welcome. Golfers will also experience the fun of Camp Olympia by participating in a variety of activities, like waterskiing & horseback, and nightly camp programs.

Wellspring Camps
Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camps
Wellspring Camps provide a scientifically-based behavioral change program focused on long-term weight loss. The goal of Wellspring Camps is to expose campers who are more than 20 pounds overweight to different ways to get in shape and lose weight so that they continue to be active after camp ends.
Campers are typically grouped by age and gender, maximizing the program for each participant's needs and body type. In addition to recreational activities, campers meet with doctorate-level behavior coaches to make long-lasting changes in attitude and self esteem.

Residential coed summer campCamp Hopewell offers a wide variety of events throughout the year. During the summer, we have 4 weeks of Church Camp. These camp sessions are open to all young people between the ages of 7-15. We also have an introduction to camp called Wee Bit Camp, which is a 3 day camp for campers ages 6-9; and a Leadership Adventure Camp for 16-17 year-olds. For the more mature camper, aged 50 and older, Hopewell hosts XYZ camp just for them.
Special camps also play a very important role in the summer here at Hopewell. We offer 2 weeks of camp for Children and Youth with Diabetes, a session for families that have a child with cancer.

Gifted students in grades K-12 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at some of the most famous colleges and universities in the country such as Princeton University, Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley, SIG has the best well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Students live and learn on campus for three-weeks, leaving with the additional confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.
Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, SIG is able to individualize the program for each and every student. Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. Ten day programs are available for younger students and most of our residential programs have a commuter option. A non-profit residential camp for children with physical disabilities and children with type one diabetes located on 500 acres in the Texas Hill Country. Our week-long sessions are provided at no charge to the children we serve and aim to provide a "can do" attitude and build self-esteem.

Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
