Camp Huawni
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Huawni is a throwback to a simpler time and place for boys (ages 6-15) and girls (ages 6-16) located in East Texas. Our smaller setting and 3:1 camper to counselor ratio make us unique and allows us to invest purely in relationships that result in true personal growth. Camp Huawni has been a safe haven for 47 years where children can be themselves and where lifetime friendships begin.

Camp Huawni has a total of four sessions, including 2 two-week sessions and 2 one-week sessions, and limits each session to 130 campers. Many campers enroll in up to 4 sessions, a total of 6 weeks. Camp Huawni is a Christian-based camp but welcomes children from any faith background.

Residential Coed Summer Camp
Established in 1949, YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is all about relationships. We strengthen relationships with God, His creation and each other.
Camaraderie, joy, and memories are created along the shores of stunning Possum Kingdom Lake. Campers fall asleep under a star-filled sky and wake to the sun rising over the lake.
Camp Grady Spruce is made up of three individual camp sites: Main Camp (7-12 yr old boys), Ray Bean Camp (7-12 yr old girls), Frontier Camp (13-16 yr old co-ed). All camps offer activities such as water skiing/wakeboarding, sailing, and horses. Frontier offers Adventure Trips and leadership opportunities.
Camp is more than natural beauty and activities. It is a place where kids try new things, learn to live in community, appreciate the uniqueness and beauty of each other and experience the example of Christian living.
Character development is the most important benefit of the CGS experience. We embrace four core values: honesty, respect, responsibility and caring.
Aquatic Sciences Adventure Camp
Residential coed summer campA fun camp for students ages 9 to 15 who are interested in aquatic or marine sciences. The program includes a mixture of educational and recreational activities. Activities include aquatic biology and water chemistry, swimming, tubing, scuba/snorkeling, river rafting, glass-bottom boat ride, Sea World and more.
Weekly sessions June-July offer a mix of educational and recreational activities. Aquatic biology, water chemistry, scuba/snorkeling, tubing, river rafting, swimming, glass-bottom boat ride, trip to Sea World.
Catalina Island Camps

Catalina Island Camps is a Summer Resident Camp for boys and girls ages 7 through 15. The camp facilities are located at Howlands Landing on the California side of Catalina Island, 22 miles from Southern California. 150-180 boys and girls ages 7 to 15 participate in the camp's waterfront and land programs.
Activities include: sailing, skin diving, water-skiing, sea-kayaking, climbing wall, ropes course, and many others.

Resident Camp Expedition Camp (5th-8th grade) - SeaWorld Expedition Camp is jam-packed with fun, exciting and challenging activities. Throughout the week, campers see and learn about such fascinating marine animals such as killer whales, beluga whales, penguins, sea lions, walruses, sharks, and stingrays.
Career Camp (9th-12th grade) - Find out if a career working with animals is right for you. You'll gain experience working side by side with our zoological team. Monitor animal health, record behavior, and prepare food for some of SeaWorld San Antonio's animals. You'll learn from SeaWorld professionals in the fields of veterinary science, animal training, and conservation.
Day Camp (3-4 years old with a parent -12 years old) Campers get immersed into the world of playful pinnipeds, graceful belugas, and majestic killer whales. Learning activities include SeaWorld songs, animal viewing, arts and crafts, and animal dress ups.

Residential Coed Special Needs Summer Camp
Charis Hills is a Christian, co-ed, residential summer camp which helps kids with learning differences build confidence and find success. We have one to three week sessions serving campers ages 7 to 18. We welcome campers with ADHD, learning disabilities as well as high functioning Autism and Asperger's. Campers also receive academic tutoring & enrichment for one activity period a day by certified teachers. Campers discover a highly persoalized, fun filled and nurturing environment while filling their heart's desire to be acceptd and succeed in new activities.
Charis Hills is located one hour NW of DFW International Airport in the beautiful Cross Timbers area! Twin Lakes Summer Camp

Twin Lakes Summer Camp is focused on providing an environment that is both safe and fun, while being intentionally grounded in Biblical teaching. For the past 40 years, Twin Lakes has shown the love of Christ to campers from a variety of backgrounds. During their session, each camper participates in each of our exciting activities - Horseback riding, Wild Wilderness Adventure, Games, Challenge Course, Riflery/Archery, Rock Climbing, Waterfront, Leather crafts and Kayaking. Biblical narratives serve as the theme each week, and come to life during assembly times as the whole camp experiences the story on Friday's Bible adventure.
The loving, highly qualified staff are carefully selected and genuinely enjoy developing relationships with each child and seeking to help him/her make the most of their week at camp. A medical doctor and healthcare staff oversee the health and safety of the camp program.

Wellspring Texas campers are young males and females with a common goal: to lose weight while having fun. Boys and girls ages 11-18 enjoy an amazing summer of weight loss, fun, and friendships. Wellspring Camps provide a scientifically-based behavioral change program focused on long-term weight loss. The goal of Wellspring Camps is to expose campers who are more than 20 pounds overweight to different ways to get in shape and lose weight so that they continue to be active after camp ends.
Campers are typically grouped by age and gender, maximizing the program for each participant's needs and body type. In addition to recreational activities, campers meet with doctorate-level behavior coaches to make long-lasting changes in attitude and self esteem.

Texas Arts Project
Coed Residential CampTexas Arts Project (TAP Camp) offers a three-week camp (ages 14-18) featuring training in acting, musical theatre, and filmmaking. Advanced Campers (age 15-18) may apply for our college-prep program. Junior Campers (ages 9-13) choose one of two shorter musical theatre camps. Campers juggle a tight schedule of classes, activities, film shoots, editing and rehearsals for the final showcase.
Highly experienced staff, from around the country, motivate campers to excel beyond their expectations. Facilities include a dance studio, acting studios, an editing room, luxury dorms, a swimming pool, a 400-seat proscenium theatre and 80-seat blackbox.

Camp Lonehollow is known as one of the best overnight summer camps in Texas. Lonehollow is a place where your kids can run, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment. Individualized scheduling for our 40 different activities, air conditioned cabins, and 1-4 counselor to camper ratio. Camp Woodmont
Residential coed summer camp
A smaller-sized traditional summer camp with extremely close owner supervision. Camp owner Jane Bennett, along with her two children, camp directors Tyran Bennett and Alyson Bennett Gondek are hands-on camp directors with extensive qualifications (see below).
All counseling staff are college students and undergo extensive interviews, background checks and on-site director-led training including five days of climbing and high ropes training led by nationally known trainers, a four-day American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification class led by camp director and Red Cross instructor Tyran Bennett; and Archery certification. Both directors are certified horseback riding instructors and we also send staff to a horseback safety clinic. We top off all this specialty training with a full week of camp policy and activities training immediately prior to camp start.
Our family-type atmosphere means we can get to know every camper; it gives younger campers a feeling of reassurance and belonging and older campers a chance to grow and contribute in a community of support. Our traditional program includes extensive arts/crafts and performing arts as well as sports, aquatics, horseback riding, high adventure and much more.

50 foot swings, canoeing through the rapids, rock climbing and rappelling, a 450 foot zip line, an overnight campout @ Enchanted Rock, tubing on the river, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, paintball games, archery, high ropes, a dance, swimming, caving, and much more await to push you to new heights!
Sessions are 1 week for 9 - 16 year olds.
YMCA Camp Lakewood

YMCA Camp Lakewood, a branch of the YMCA of Greater St. Louis is a co-ed summer residential camp for ages 6-17, located 75 miles south of St. Louis between Potosi and Steelville, MO. Set amidst 5,000 beautiful woodland acres with a private 360-acre lake, Camp Lakewood is a true escape. Your child will forget all about television, video games, and mp3 players while discovering the ultimate childhood experience, all within a safe and trusted environment.
Programs at Camp Lakewood are based on the YMCA's four core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. We believe in making your camper stronger in spirit, mind and body! At Camp Lakewood, your camper can attend our Traditional Summer Camp Program, participate in the Ranger Program, work on leadership skills in our Leaders In Training Program (LIT), or focus on a special elective of our regular camp program like Horsemanship.

Seacamp

Since 1966, Seacamp is the first program dedicated to the education of youth in marine sciences.
Seacamp's location in the Florida Keys allows for a truly unique marine science program, providing an array of activities under the guidance of academically-trained instructors. Students work at their own level of interest, choosing from 24 different areas of study.
Seacamp's SCUBA diving program is open to qualified campers. Courses are designed to give the diver training in SCUBA techniques enabling them to use SCUBA as a tool for underwater research. Satisfactory completion of Basic or Master Diver certification course earns certification through NAUI. Already certified campers choose from our combined marine science/SCUBA courses.
Seacamp aquatics programs include sailing and windsurfing. US Sail certification is offered to beginners in sailing. Seacamp offers the American Red Cross course in lifeguarding.

Campers come from all over the world. Airport transportation available from the St. Louis International Airport. Located on 240 acres of oak/hickory forest. Our camp offers; modern air-conditioned cabins, swimming pool, fishing ponds, miles of hiking trails and it's own camp zoo.
Lone Star Leadership Academy
Coed Residential CampLone Star Leadership Academies are spring break and summer academic leadership camps where outstanding young leaders flourish! Bright, gifted and high-achieving students develop leadership skills and learn about the great state of Texas during visits to significant sites in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio or Houston/Galveston.
Educators facilitate site visits and leadership groups. Career speakers present unique career possibilities. Participants make new friends and add to their academic resume. Participants must maintain an 85 or higher average and receive an educator recommendation based on demonstrated leadership ability. Program alumni are invited to join Education in Action's Lone Star Youth Leadership Council.
Summer Institute for the Gifted
Coed Camps with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Gifted students ages 4-17 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at pretigious colleges and universities, SIG has an excellent well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each student. Students live and learn on campus for three weeks, leaving with the confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.
Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, SIG individualizes the program for each student. Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. Our more than 25 years of experience have made us the leading organization in the field.

Residential coed summer camp for children with a parent in prisonNew Hope is an Oklahoma-based prison ministry for children who have a parent in prison. These children are seven times more likely to end up in prison themselves. Our mission is to empower these children and their families to create a healthy future in the hopes of ending the generational cycle of incarceration.
This camp offers creative education and life skills as children enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, arts and crafts, sports and chapel. Caregivers receive a much needed break. The camp is limited to 40 children so counselors can coach and mentor individual campers.
Camp Huawni

Camp Huawni is a throwback to a simpler time and place for boys (ages 6-15) and girls (ages 6-16) located in East Texas. Our smaller setting and 3:1 camper to counselor ratio make us unique and allows us to invest purely in relationships that result in true personal growth. Camp Huawni has been a safe haven for 47 years where children can be themselves and where lifetime friendships begin.
Our mission at Camp Huawni is to love the kids, or LTK as we call it.

Camp Huawni has a total of four sessions, including 2 two-week sessions and 2 one-week sessions, and limits each session to 130 campers. Many campers enroll in up to 4 sessions, a total of 6 weeks. Camp Huawni is a Christian-based camp but welcomes children from any faith background.
