Camp Northwood
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Northwood is oriented toward children with low self-esteem, immature social skill development, learning challenges and Asperger's Syndrome in need of a structured and supportive summer experience. Northwood's program focuses on the development of independence, social skills and self-image.
Campers participate in a non-competitive, socially oriented, "main-streamed" styled program. A 2:1 camper/counselor ratio provides a level of individualization at activities and in the cabin setting insuring success. In addition to traditional camp activities, campers participate in an individually designed academic program intended to help maintain current skill levels throughout the summer.
Northwood campers are exposed to a variety of social experiences designed to foster age-appropriate social skill development. Group social skill sessions and constant reinforcement within the cabin setting cultivate growth in each camper's ability to work as part of a team, interpret social situations and feel a sense of inclusion in our camp community.

Acadia Mountain Guides offers small group coed camp experiences for ages 6 - 8, 9 - 12 and ages 13 - 18.
Our Explorer Series for young campers features multi-sport adventure and focused climbing camps primarily within Acadia National Park in Maine. These camps are available in day or overnight formats. Adventure camps include lots of activities such as rock climbing, ropes course, hiking, nature study, canoeing, caving, swimming, first aid and survival skills. Our specialized rock climbing camps focus on rock climbing and related skills.
Our tiered climbing camps offer something to all levels of rock climbers from those just starting out who want to learn the ropes to advanced sport and traditional lead climbing camps. Multi-sport adventure camps mix it up with rock climbing, rafting, sea kayaking, hiking throughout Maine. Camps may be combined for up to five weeks of summer fun.

White Mountain Climbing Camp focuses on the fundamentals of rock climbing through a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio. Students learn the basics and then embark on adventures at large cliffs such as Cannon, Cathedral and/or Whitehorse.

Wilderness adventure program
SOAR has provided multi-length, high adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities for over 35 years. Recognizing that the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Course are co-ed, and are dveloped for youth ages 8-25 with average to above average intelligence and physical ability. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity, caring and passion for working with our population in the outdoor setting.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and fishing in the Florida keys; backpacking and rafting in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC; surfing and sea kayaking in California; horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming; to canoeing and rock climbing in the Adirondack mountains of New York. Specialty courses include a trip tropical Belize, learning to whitewater kayak in North Carolina, earning SCUBA certifications in Florida, and even participating in a Wyoming Rodeo! Our Postgraduate program serves young adults ages 18-25.
Camp Killooleet

Camp Killooleet, a summer camp for boys and girls ages 9 - 14, is nestled into a beautiful corner of the Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, Vermont. For over 80 years it has been owned and run by educators who know and listen to children. Killooleet is a "traditional camp" (varied activities, full season, weekly hikes and two overnight trips) that goes its own way in a non-traditional manner. Camp is non-competitive and highly individual. Strong cabin groups are built through working and playing together. With about 100 campers, Killooleet is small enough so that everyone knows each other and friendships develop between campers of different ages who share the same interests.
At Killooleet, half the activities are in sports (waterfront, team and individual) and half are in studio and performing arts. We all explore the beauty of Vermont for ten days over the summer, on foot, bicycle, canoe and horseback.

JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood, the JCC of Greater Boston's camp for boys and girls ages 8-15, is located in Bridgton, Maine. Camp Cody is situated on nearly one hundred acres of naturally wooded property and a mile of superb sandy shoreline on Lake Ossipee. Acadia Institute of Oceanography

Located on Mt. Desert Island next to Acadia National Park, our hands-on, field program offers students the opportunity to learn about careers in oceanography through work at tidal pools, beaches, on board boat and in the lab.
Our academic marine science program runs for two weeks each and offers intermediate (12-15 years) and advanced sessions (15-18 years of age). We also offer a one-week introductory session for 10-12 year old students. You must have a satisfactory teacher recommendation for final acceptance into the program.

Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp
Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp SessionsThe Windham Tolland 4-H camp is located in Pomfret Center Connecticut. The Camp now runs a seven week comprehensive progam. Campers need not be 4-H members to apply. Our 270 acres contain woodlands, cabins, recreational areas, and scenic ponds. Our goal is to use cooperative activities to promote each camper's social and emotional development. Our caring, camper-centered staff is committed to providing safe, educational and fun experiences for every child.
The camp is run by the Windham County 4-H Foundation, a non profit organization. The camp is in compliance with ADA regulations for camps.

Forrestel Farm Riding & Sports Camp

Forrestel Riding & Sports Camp is a fully accredited ACA premiere English riding camp established in1980. We offer one, two and four week sessions ages 7-16 some co-ed and some just for girls. Our historic 800 acre working farm is located 40 miles east of Niagara Falls, NY. Our international and local riding counselors are all qualified, experienced and passionate about teaching our campers to ride. Riding instruction at Forrestel includes structured ring work and cross country riding.
Our campers can choose to ride once or twice daily. Each child is assigned their own horse. Forrestel Riding & Sports Camp programs are designed to help campers develop confidence and explore new opportunities. We limit our enrollment which enables us to have more one on one time with each child. In addition to riding, campers can choose from a multitude of other activities such as tennis, woodworking, paddling, arts and crafts, team sports and more.

Alfred University's residential summer programs offer in-depth instruction in Astronomy, Art Portfolio Prep, Creative Writing, Chemistry, Computers, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Robotics, Theater, Equestrian and Swimming. Classes, taught by distinguished members of the University faculty, are kept small to allow for lots of individualized attention. When not in class, campers enjoy participating in fun recreational activities along with taking time to relax and get to know one another. Out-of-class supervision is provided by our team of Resident Assistants, who are specially trained to serve as camp counselors, positive role models, mentors and friends.
Our campus is located in a safe, peaceful village in western New York State, surrounded by rolling hills and beautiful meadows and valleys. Campers stay in clean, modern residence halls and all-you-can-eat, cafeteria-style meals are served in the University dining hall. Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session

Lots more than a summer camp... Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. In the afternoons and weekends, the 500 acre lakeside campus provides an ideal setting for sports, swimming, sailing, and simply enjoying summer in New Hampshire. We believe that children should have the time to enjoy being kids. We believe in imagination, sleeping under the stars, getting dirt under your nails, friendship, cooking over a campfire, having an Alice in Wonderland or Jurassic Park day, playing ball, community, molding clay, fishing, sliding down a water slide, canoeing, caring for our camp farm animals and all the fun little details that make up an awesome childhood summertime!
Established as Incarnation Camp in 1886, our historic roots and strong alumni support enable us to offer the best in summer camping at half the cost of comparable sleep away programs. Pequot & Sherwood campers choose the layout of thier day from a roster of activities which include field and court sports, fine arts and crafting, performance arts, waterfront (canoe, sail, waterslide, etc.), outdoor adventure, and more! All campers recieve swim and boating instruction every day in our mile-long, crystal clear private lake which is the heart of our 740 acre forested site. Where learning and fun are rolled into one. . . Now in our 34th year, National Computer Camp is America's original computer camp since 1977. The focus at NCC is Android App programming, 2D and 3D video game design, computer programming, digital video production, web page design, A+ and Network+ certification and software applications including networking, animation, Flash and graphics. Each week we offer all levels of programming in Basic, C++, Java, Assembler, HTML, XML, OpenGL and JavaScript.

Gifted students ages 4-17 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at pretigious colleges and universities, SIG has an excellent well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each student. Students live and learn on campus for three weeks, leaving with the confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.

Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. We have a large array of water sports on crystal clear Crescent Lake. Beautiful facilities and cabins are bright and equipped with showers, toilets and electricity. Individual camper schedules. Located on Unity College's environmentally based campus, we are a small, inclusive community, offering high quality instruction in visual & performing arts, technology, special interest activities and individual/lifetime sports. Farm & Wilderness operates five residential camps and a day camp.
The Barn Day Camp offers children ages 4-10 opportunities to garden, care for animals, hike, climb, swim, create, and play.
At Timberlake, boys ages 9-14 can backpack, farm, garden, swim, boat, create art, and build a cabin.
Indian Brook offers girls 9-14 opportunities to milk a cow, cut down a tree, climb mountains, read a map, learn 100 songs, and build a cabin.
Tamarack Farm: 15-17 year olds living together and running an organic farm. There's also time for playing, swimming, and the arts.
Saltash Mountain is a coed adventure camp for 11-14 year olds. Backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing trips plus gardening, crafting, swimming, and playing.
Flying Cloud is for boys 11-14 to live close to the earth and learn primitive living skills. Wood carving, fire building, and animal tracking are a few of the many activities offered.
Camp Pinehurst

Facing the sunset on the sandy shore of Crescent Lake, Camp Pinehurst is a traditional summer camp for boys and girls that emphasizes skill development, outdoor adventure and teamwork. Camp Pinehurst boasts an experienced, highly qualified staff and an individualized daily schedule for each camper. This combination allows children the opportunity to achieve success in a safe and supportive environment.
Activities include Red Cross swimming, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, knee-boarding, kayaking, tennis, soccer, basketball, model rocketry, yoga, dance, archery, riflery, mountain biking, overnight canoe trips, whitewater rafting and hiking trips. Camp Northwood

Camp Northwood is oriented toward children with low self-esteem, immature social skill development, learning challenges and Asperger's Syndrome in need of a structured and supportive summer experience. Northwood's program focuses on the development of independence, social skills and self-image.
Campers participate in a non-competitive, socially oriented, "main-streamed" styled program. A 2:1 camper/counselor ratio provides a level of individualization at activities and in the cabin setting insuring success. In addition to traditional camp activities, campers participate in an individually designed academic program intended to help maintain current skill levels throughout the summer.
Northwood campers are exposed to a variety of social experiences designed to foster age-appropriate social skill development. Group social skill sessions and constant reinforcement within the cabin setting cultivate growth in each camper's ability to work as part of a team, interpret social situations and feel a sense of inclusion in our camp community.
