Camp CenterStage is a co-ed acting, music, performing arts, and theatre camp in Maine, drawing campers from NH, Maine, and all over New England, for ages 8 - 17 who love the excitement of theater, acting, music, performing arts, and other traditional summer camp experiences. Our mission is to teach positive life and leadership skills through the arts!
Located on Crescent Lake in Maine, the 65-acre campus offers swimming, kayaking, tennis, hiking, tetherball, and many studio and performance spaces for all of CCS's classes, workshops, and activities. We offer acting, music, performance skills, musical theatre, dance, creative writing, film making, creative arts, water sports, combined with a traditional experience that teaches positive life and leadership skills!

Wilderness adventure programs worldwide
Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Maine Golf and Tennis Academy for Juniors

Camp Nashoba North

Nashoba North offers a wonderful summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Located on the shore of Crescent Lake in the Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, Nashoba North is nestled on ninety-five acres of pinewoods and open fields. Campers enjoy breathtaking mountain views and serene peacefulness.
We have a large array of water sports on crystal clear Crescent Lake. Beautiful facilities and cabins are bright and equipped with showers, toilets and electricity. Individual camper schedules. Nashoba has tennis, soccer, theater, dance, archery, pottery, baseball, basketball, woodworking, animal care, art, rock-climbing, and much more! Extensive riding and golf programs. Camp Modin

Situated in the pristine wilderness of Maine's beautiful Belgrade Lakes region, Camp Modin is the oldest Jewish camp in New England. Located on a private, unspoiled lake, our 375 campers enjoy a community-oriented environment in which they can learn, grow and develop lifelong friendships, all in a Jewish cultural environment. Camp Walden is a co-ed summer camp set amongst the splendor of the Adirondack Mountains. At Walden we offer both full and half sessions, and a two-week option for our first time campers only. Our small camp soon feels like a big family. Living, playing and learning together soon builds friendships that often last a lifetime. Woodland trails, fields, lakeshore and waterfront offer everything a camp kid should get to try: Archery, Field Sports, Tennis, Volleyball, Mountain Bikes, High and Low Ropes Challenge Course, Zip Line, Climbing Tower; Gymnastics and Aerobics tune our balance and spatial skills and build strength, teamwork, and confidence almost un-noticed, while we learn safety in a non-competitive atmosphere.

Vermont Adventure Camps
Wilderness adventure program
Vermont Adventure Camps offers camps for teens ages 11 to 17 years old. The camps offer a large variety of outdoor activities for all ability levels. Each camp session is a little different but there is always a 4:1 camper counselor ratio. You do not need experience, but rather the enthusiasm and willingness to try new things and meet new people.
Six Day 11 & 12y/o Adventurer Camps:
We offer 8 five day adventure camps for kids 11 & 12. The kids stay in our Adventure Lodge and go on adventures each day.
Six Day 13 & 14y/o Adventurer Camps:
We offer 8 five day adventure camps for teens 13 & 14. The kids stay in our Adventure Lodge and go on adventures each day.
2 Week Adventure Camps:

Coed Residential CampThe Dean College Summer Arts Mini-Fest (late July) residential program is a unique opportunity for 15- to 19-year-olds to gain college-level experience in the fields of classical dance as well as physical theatre taught by a dynamic team of faculty and professional artists. The sessions culminate with a public performance at Dean.
Participants live on the pristine Dean College campus supervised by experienced counselors and educators. Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp is a unique teenage program where campers have the freedom to choose their activities in a supportive, nurturing environment. White Mountain Summer is proud to offer students ages 13-16 amazing adventures! The emphasis and goal of all White Mountain Summer programs is for our students to have an incredibly fun adventure. We work hard to build a community that supports teens and gives them the freedom and confidence to be their best selves. We provide a safe and fun environment for them to try new and exciting things, make new friends, and explore their world.
The White Mountain School has partnered with Adventure Treks to create the safest, most substantive, and most exciting adventures for young people through our personal attention to every student, our caring, and our competence. If you are 13 or 14, New England Exploration goes whitewater rafting, mountain biking, rock climbing and backpacking, all in a 16-day trip. For ages 15-16, we offer the Ultimate Northeast Adventure! The name says it all. Between these two trips, we have White Mountain Climbing Camp, which is available to both age groups.
Farm and Wilderness Camps
Coed Camps with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Farm & Wilderness operates five residential camps and a day camp.
The Barn Day Camp offers children ages 4-10 opportunities to garden, care for animals, hike, climb, swim, create art, and play.
At Timberlake, boys ages 9-14 can backpack, farm, garden, swim, boat, create art, and build a cabin.
Indian Brook offers girls 9-14 opportunities to milk a cow, cut down a tree, climb mountains, read a map, learn 100 songs, and build a cabin.
Tamarack Farm: 15-17 year olds living together and running an organic farm. There's also time for playing, swimming, and the arts.
Saltash Mountain is a coed adventure camp for 11-14 year olds. Backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing trips plus gardening, crafting, swimming, and playing.
Flying Cloud is for boys 11-14 to live close to the earth and learn primitive living skills. Wood carving, fire building, and animal tracking are a few of the many activities offered.
Adventure Travel Camps
Wilderness Adventure Program
Adventure Travel Camps specializes in camps that travel through out New England & the Surrounding States. Teens travel in 15 passenger vans with a cargo trailer on the back with a small SUV with a kayak trailer following behind. Spend 15 to 30 days doing awesome adventures during the day while camping at pristine camp grounds at night.
There is a maximum of 16 kids at the camp and 3 counselors. The teens will participate in many adventures including rock climbing, river kayaking, white water kayaking, white water rafting, hiking, caving, mountain biking skate boarding and much more.
Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session

Lots more than a summer camp... Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. In the afternoons and weekends, the 500 acre lakeside campus provides an ideal setting for sports, swimming, sailing, and simply enjoying summer in New Hampshire. Numerous off-campus trips, evening performances and bonfires, and our annual Green and White competition round out the Cardigan experience. Wellspring Pennsylvania
Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Nestled on a beautiful and quiet campus in Western Pennsylvania, Wellspring Pennsylvania is the only scientifically based co-ed weight loss camp in the Northeast. Our highly motivated staff caters to boys and girls ages 11-18 for a fun-filled summer of new experiences, new friends and dramatic weight loss. Activities at Wellspring Pennsylvania include fitness training, aerobics, yoga, hiking, biking, basketball, volleyball, swimming, to name a few - all designed to get campers moving and loving it!
Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Windsor Mountain International

Windsor Mountain International was founded in 1961, as Interlocken International Camp and leads young people to discover the magic of creating friendships across cultures. At Windsor Mountain International SUMMER CAMP, activities include sports, theatre, arts and crafts ranging from stained glass to Batik, festivals, music such as guitar, and Jamaican steel drumming, as well as a wide range of outdoor adventure including rock-climbing, camping, kayaking, and a world class ropes course. Last summer Windsor Mountain represented 29 countries which gives campers an opportunity to learn about a broad variety of cultures while making lifetime friends from around the world. Sessions are 26 days. We also offer a two-week intro program for new campers.
Windsor Mountain offers exciting summer TRAVEL PROGRAMS for students in grades 6-12. All our travel programs are creative adventures focusing on building friendships among diverse cultures, and include community service learning, leadership training, language opportunities, cross cultural exchanges and environmental explorations. Travel destinations include Puerto Rico, Caribbean, China, Southern Africa and Peru. We also have a NEW ENGLAND ADVENTURE program for students in grades 6-8, which can be combined with a session of summer camp.
Maine Teen Camp

Maine Teen Camp represents a dynamic, diverse, and enthusiastic group of teenagers from across the United States and around the world. We are located in southwestern Maine on beautiful Stanley Lake. Each summer, over 275 teens and over 100 staff gather together at MTC, sharing their special interests and unique cultural experiences with each other, creating a supportive environment to explore new and exciting challenges. Mature, experienced, caring staff and a fully elective program.
Activities include: Rock music program, professional tennis instruction, wakeboarding/waterski, land sports, water sports, performance and fine arts, adventure course, academics, cooking, community service, trips, and much more! 2-4-6-8 week sessions available.
Tabor Academy Summer Program

Established in 1917, the Tabor Academy Summer Program provides a fun and safe environment for children, ages 6-15.Numerous activities and optional academics are led by a group of highly qualified and energetic staff in a beautiful waterfront setting.
Traditional camp activities as well as our program highlights of Oceanography and Sailing. Camp season opens in June and ends in August. Sessions: three and six weeks. Ages 9-15.

At Power Chord Academy, dedicated musicians ages 12-18 are put through the most inspirational, educational, and intensive programs of their young careers. Over the last 11 years, we have perfected the art of teen musician training, while providing a highly focused, fun, learning environment. We currently offer several programs for teenage musicians.
Power Chord Academy currently offers 38 Sessions in 17 US locations with teenage musicians attending from across the world. Camp Killooleet
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Killooleet, a summer camp for boys and girls ages 9 - 14, is nestled into a beautiful corner of the Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, Vermont. For over 80 years it has been owned and run by educators who know and listen to children. Killooleet is a "traditional camp" (varied activities, full season, weekly hikes and two overnight trips) that goes its own way in a non-traditional manner. Camp is non-competitive and highly individual. Strong cabin groups are built through working and playing together. With about 100 campers, Killooleet is small enough so that everyone knows each other and friendships develop between campers of different ages who share the same interests.
At Killooleet, half the activities are in sports (waterfront, team and individual) and half are in studio and performing arts. We all explore the beauty of Vermont for ten days over the summer, on foot, bicycle, canoe and horseback.

Acadia Institute of Oceanography

Located on Mt. Desert Island next to Acadia National Park, our hands-on, field program offers students the opportunity to learn about careers in oceanography through work at tidal pools, beaches, on board boat and in the lab.
Our academic marine science program runs for two weeks each and offers intermediate (12-15 years) and advanced sessions (15-18 years of age). We also offer a one-week introductory session for 10-12 year old students. You must have a satisfactory teacher recommendation for final acceptance into the program.

Summer Institute for the Gifted

Gifted students in grades K-12 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at some of the most famous colleges and universities in the country such as Princeton University, Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley, SIG has the best well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Students live and learn on campus for three-weeks, leaving with the additional confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.
Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, SIG is able to individualize the program for each and every student. Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. Ten day programs are available for younger students and most of our residential programs have a commuter option. Our more than 25 years of experience have made us the leading organization in the field.

Forrestel Riding & Sport Camp is a fully accredited ACA camp, established in 1980. We offer one, two and four week co-educational sessions ages 7-16 some co-ed and some just for girls. Our historic 800- acre working farm is located 40 miles west of Rochester, NY. There are two outstanding programs: equestrian and outdoor adventure & sports. Forrestel Farm Riding & Sports Camp provides children with a safe and nurturing environment where they are inspired to succeed. Our programs are designed to help campers develop confidence and explore new opportunities. We limit our enrollment which enables us to have more one on one time with each child.

JCC Maccabi Camp Kingswood, the JCC of Greater Boston's camp for boys and girls ages 8-15, is located in Bridgton, Maine. Campers need not be 4-H members to apply. Our 270 acres contain woodlands, cabins, recreational areas, and scenic ponds. Our goal is to use cooperative activities to promote each camper's social and emotional development. Our caring, camper-centered staff is committed to providing safe, educational and fun experiences for every child.
The camp is run by the Windham County 4-H Foundation, a non profit organization. The camp is in compliance with ADA regulations for camps.
