Camp Pacific - Recreation & Surf Camps
Coed Residential CampLocated on a beautiful oceanfront campus in Carlsbad, California, Camp Pacific's recreational and surf camps have attracted campers since 1943. Our popular programs attract youth ages 8-16 from across the United States and around the world.
Our goal is to have fun, learn new athletic and recreational skills, develop strong friendships, and build self-esteem through positive experiences. Our experienced staff and diverse activities supply a fun and rewarding summer experience!
Morning: Campers participate in weekly athletic or recreational skill classes.
Afternoon: Free choice recreational activities and sports.
Weekends: Thrilling trips to area theme parks are offered during the session.
Evenings: Talent shows, campfires and other entertaining activities!
Activities Include: Surfing/bodyboarding, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis, swimming, flag football, kickball, ultimate frisbee, water polo, riflery, jewelry making, arts and crafts, Ping-Pong, billiards, ESL (additional fee) and more!
RECREATIONAL CAMP: With a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship and fun, campers choose to participate in a wide variety of activities and learn new athletic and recreational skills, gain self-confidence and are encouraged to develop strong friendships while working with their peers.
SURF/BODYBOARD CAMP: We welcome all levels. Our experienced instructors teach the basics of surfing/bodyboarding, equipment options, wave selection, and improve already acquired skills.

Wellspring Academy of California, the premier treatment program for adolescent obesity and the first boarding school for weight loss, welcomes students for summer session. Cheley Colorado Camps

Cheley Colorado Camps own 1300 spectacular high-country acres surrounded by snow-capped peaks that soar to 14,000 feet. The historic campus, 75 miles northwest of Denver, borders Rocky Mountain National Park and the Roosevelt National Forest. Cheley Camps provides 9 to 17 year-olds the summer of their lives.
Activities include hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, outcamping, rock climbing, mountain biking, crafts, and sports and white water rafting .
Camp ID-RA-HA-JE
Residential coed Christian campCamp Id-Ra-Ha-Je is a Christian camp and retreat center outside of Bailey, Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Id-Ra-Ha-Je has been serving the front range area since 1948. The sign at our entrance says it all: "Jesus Christ is honored Here."
Campers enjoy a large variety of age-appropriate activities. They may scale the climbing tower or natural cliffs, master archery, drama or other skills, create beauty in arts and crafts, ride and care for the horses, overcome the high ropes or challenge course, or simply play with new friends and loving counselors.
Outward Bound
Wilderness adventure programs worldwide
Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.
Since 1962, over 500,000 students have returned from an Outward Bound experience with a deeper knowledge of themselves and the world in which we live.
SOAR, Inc.
Wilderness adventure program
For over 30 years, SOAR has provided multi-length, adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Recognizing the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Courses are co-ed, and are developed for youth ages 8 - 18 with average or above average intelligence and physical aptitude. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity and caring, enabling them to relate to students and enhance their adventure experience.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and kayaking in the Florida Keys; backpacking, and whitewater rafting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina; surfing and sea kayaking along the California Coast; and horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming and much more. Specialty courses include a trip to the rainforests of Costa Rica, learning to whitewater kayak and even participating in a western rodeo! New programs incude a Northern California Expedition and a traditional camp model in sunny Florida.
The OEP Summer Experience
Day Camps, Overnight Camps and Teen Expeditions
The OEP Summer Experience consists of day camps for students entering grades 1-6, an overnight offering for students entering grades 4-6 and three unique teen expeditions. All expeditions are wonderful journeys into distinct and remarkable wilderness environments and will engage students in leadership, self-awareness, adaptability, community building and resourcefulness while participating in challenging activities and having the time of their lives!
The Trekker series offers both day and overnight camps and is full of excitement, adventure, and learning for youth entering grades 4-7. This series offers exciting opportunities for personal challenge, self-awareness, environmental responsibility, and community building.
The Explorer day camp series encourages students entering grades 1-3 to learn about themselves and the environment, explore their community, and create new and lasting friendships. Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp SessionsExplore the exciting field of archaeology in the middle of the richest archaeological region in the United States while contributing to our research into Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) culture. Our one and three-week camps offer teens the chance to explore the full realm of archaeology from developing a research design, to excavating in the field with professional archaeologists, analyzing artifacts, and recording data in the laboratory.
At our pithouse and pueblo learning centers, girls and boys can try their hand at spear-throwing with an atlatl, making fire without matches, making pottery, and playing traditional American Indian games. Friendships made at this camp can last a lifetime!

Coed Outdoor Adventure Program for Jewish Teens
At Adamah Adventures we help our campers develop self-confidence, independence, and a sense of adventure while building a strong community focused on environmentalism and the joy of Jewish life. During the 18-day trek, campers work in small groups alongside highly trained staff members to experience both the thrill and the quiet - the whitewater and the campfire - in some of the most awe-inspiring places in the country.
The upcoming summer includes two exciting itineraries. The Blue Ridge Mountains trek highlights include a rafting overnight on the world-class Chattooga River, rock climbing, and the longest zipline in the south! The Utah trek includes hikes in three stunning national parks, a three-day rafting trip on the Colorado River, and a sunset Hummer tour.
