Morning: Campers participate in weekly athletic or recreational skill classes.

RECREATIONAL CAMP: With a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship and fun, campers choose to participate in a wide variety of activities and learn new athletic and recreational skills, gain self-confidence and are encouraged to develop strong friendships while working with their peers.
SURF/BODYBOARD CAMP: We welcome all levels. Our experienced instructors teach the basics of surfing/bodyboarding, equipment options, wave selection, and improve already acquired skills.
Wellspring Academy of California Summer SessionWellspring Academy of California, the premier treatment program for adolescent obesity and the first boarding school for weight loss, welcomes students for summer session. Wellspring Academy is the only summer weight loss program or camp where students earn academic credit, lose weight and catch up or accelerate academically this summer at Wellspring Academy.
Wellspring Academy of California offers 3 different summer programs, ages 11-24. Cheley Colorado CampsCheley Colorado Camps own 1300 spectacular high-country acres surrounded by snow-capped peaks that soar to 14,000 feet. The historic campus, 75 miles northwest of Denver, borders Rocky Mountain National Park and the Roosevelt National Forest. Cheley Camps provides 9 to 17 year-olds the summer of their lives.
Activities include hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, outcamping, rock climbing, mountain biking, crafts, and sports and white water rafting .
Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je is a Christian camp and retreat center outside of Bailey, Colorado, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Id-Ra-Ha-Je has been serving the front range area since 1948. The sign at our entrance says it all: "Jesus Christ is honored Here."
Campers enjoy a large variety of age-appropriate activities. They may scale the climbing tower or natural cliffs, master archery, drama or other skills, create beauty in arts and crafts, ride and care for the horses, overcome the high ropes or challenge course, or simply play with new friends and loving counselors.
Outward BoundOutward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

SOAR, Inc.For over 30 years, SOAR has provided multi-length, adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Recognizing the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Courses are co-ed, and are developed for youth ages 8 - 18 with average or above average intelligence and physical aptitude. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity and caring, enabling them to relate to students and enhance their adventure experience.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and kayaking in the Florida Keys; backpacking, and whitewater rafting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina; surfing and sea kayaking along the California Coast; and horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming and much more. Specialty courses include a trip to the rainforests of Costa Rica, learning to whitewater kayak and even participating in a western rodeo! New programs incude a Northern California Expedition and a traditional camp model in sunny Florida.
The OEP Summer ExperienceThe OEP Summer Experience consists of day camps for students entering grades 1-6, an overnight offering for students entering grades 4-6 and three unique teen expeditions. Explore the exciting field of archaeology in the middle of the richest archaeological region in the United States while contributing to our research into Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) culture. Our one and three-week camps offer teens the chance to explore the full realm of archaeology from developing a research design, to excavating in the field with professional archaeologists, analyzing artifacts, and recording data in the laboratory.
At our pithouse and pueblo learning centers, girls and boys can try their hand at spear-throwing with an atlatl, making fire without matches, making pottery, and playing traditional American Indian games. Friendships made at this camp can last a lifetime!
