Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring Academy of California, the premier treatment program for adolescent obesity and the first boarding school for weight loss, welcomes students for summer session. Wellspring Academy is the only summer weight loss program or camp where students earn academic credit, lose weight and catch up or accelerate academically this summer at Wellspring Academy.
Wellspring Academy of California offers 3 different summer programs, ages 11-24. High School Summer Academic Program: Earn summer credits while participating in Wellspring's renowned weight loss and fitness program, Wellspring Academy of California Summer College Program: Academic option with online or local college curriculum and Wellspring Academy of California Adventure Program: incorporates a series of off-campus adventure trips and on-campus activities. Cheley Colorado Camps
Residential coed summer camp
Cheley Colorado Camps own 1300 spectacular high-country acres surrounded by snow-capped peaks that soar to 14,000 feet. The historic campus, 75 miles northwest of Denver, borders Rocky Mountain National Park and the Roosevelt National Forest. Cheley Camps provides 9 to 17 year-olds the summer of their lives.
Activities include hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, outcamping, rock climbing, mountain biking, crafts, and sports and white water rafting .
City Kids Wilderness Project

City Kids Wilderness Project operates a nonprofit residential summer camp located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. CityKids Camp is a unique program, serving children ages 11-16 from Washington, D.C. The camp is located on a beautiful ranch and our program is limited to 30 campers per session. Staff to camper ratio 1:4.

CSC is a coed, residential summer camp located in the beautiful San Juan mountains near Durango, CO. We offer a strong mix of traditional camp programs and wilderness trips. Our camp's philosophy is environmentally oriented and non-competitive and its choice based format is designed to develop self esteem, leadership skills, responsibility, and teamwork. Come explore nature in the mountains of western Boulder County, Colorado! Enjoy whitewater rafting, banding birds, fishing, volunteering for the environment, canoeing, playing in the snow, campfires & much more! This ten-day coed backcountry tent camp focuses on environmental education, conservation, friendships and FUN! Scholarships available.
Activities include: whitewater rafting, wildlife watching, fishing, astronomy, conservation work, bird banding, games & more. Ten-day sessions run throughout the summer. Ages 11 to 16.

Second Nature-Entrada is a year-round licensed therapeutic wilderness program. Our program guides adults and adolescents toward a healthy, fullfilling lifestyle. Entrada focuses on teaching clients how to communicate assertively and be accountable for their choices.
Crow Canyon Teen Archaeology Summer Camps & Field School
Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Explore the exciting field of archaeology in the middle of the richest archaeological region in the United States while contributing to our research into Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) culture. Our one and three-week camps offer teens the chance to explore the full realm of archaeology from developing a research design, to excavating in the field with professional archaeologists, analyzing artifacts, and recording data in the laboratory.
At our pithouse and pueblo learning centers, girls and boys can try their hand at spear-throwing with an atlatl, making fire without matches, making pottery, and playing traditional American Indian games. Friendships made at this camp can last a lifetime!
SOAR, Inc.
Wilderness adventure program
For over 30 years, SOAR has provided multi-length, adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Recognizing the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Courses are co-ed, and are developed for youth ages 8 - 18 with average or above average intelligence and physical aptitude. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity and caring, enabling them to relate to students and enhance their adventure experience.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and kayaking in the Florida Keys; backpacking, and whitewater rafting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina; surfing and sea kayaking along the California Coast; and horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming and much more. Specialty courses include a trip to the rainforests of Costa Rica, learning to whitewater kayak and even participating in a western rodeo! New programs incude a Northern California Expedition and a traditional camp model in sunny Florida.
Outward Bound
Wilderness adventure programs worldwide
Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.
Since 1962, over 500,000 students have returned from an Outward Bound experience with a deeper knowledge of themselves and the world in which we live.
Power Chord Academy Music Camp

Second to none in amateur musician training, Power Chord Academy is the premiere music camp for teenage musicians & game-musicians, offering a variety of high-energy, exciting, professional learning experiences.
At Power Chord Academy, dedicated musicians ages 12-18 are put through the most inspirational, educational, and intensive programs of their young careers. Over the last 10 years, we have perfected the art of teen musician training, while providing a highly focused, fun, learning environment. Coed dorm-based study program
Summer Study Programs offer students a unique summer opportunity which combines stimulating academics with unforgettable sports, recreational, social and/or cultural activities. Summer Study Programs is the "Total Pre-Collegiate Experience" at Penn State University, the University of Colorado at Boulder, the University of Vermont, or Summer Study in Paris at The Sorbonne. 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks - early July to mid August.
Summer Study Programs focuses on Pre-College, Academic Enrichment and Outdoor Adventure. Activities include: College Credit and Enrichment Classes, SAT Prep, Sports, Recreation, exciting Nightlife and weekend travel adventures.

Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp SessionsFor more than 85 years, young people from the Inland Northwest have been enjoying wonderful outdoor experiences at Camp Sweyolakan. As one of the oldest resident camps in the country, Sweyolakan has been a summer haven for generations of young people.
Because the camp is remote and accessible only by boat, there really is a sense of being apart from everyday life. Young people can relax and enjoy learning about themselves and the world around them in the beautiful setting of lake, mountains and forests.
