Summer Institute for the GiftedGifted students in grades K-12 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at some of the most famous colleges and universities in the country such as Princeton University, Dartmouth College and UC Berkeley, SIG has the best well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Students live and learn on campus for three-weeks, leaving with the additional confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.
Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, SIG is able to individualize the program for each and every student. Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. Ten day programs are available for younger students and most of our residential programs have a commuter option. Our more than 25 years of experience have made us the leading organization in the field.

The International Summer and Winter camps in Verbier Switzerland are fully guided for 8-18 year olds. They offer periods from 1-6 weeks from December-April for winter camps and 2-6 weeks from May-September for summer camps. Students are in a fully international environment enjoying sports activities. Summer activities include: trampoline, hiking, mountain biking, water skiing/tubing, broom ball, soccer, basketball, cycling, swimming, tennis, golf, ropes course, Arapaho. In the winter: skiing, snowboarding, sledging, torch light walks, ice-climbing, curling, swimming, squash, ice skating.
Eight hours of language classes (French, English, German and Spanish) are included per week, or a more intensive 15hrs for an additional cost. Students will enjoy cultural activities: 1 excursion per week to a Swiss city: Lausanne, Geneva, Bern, Montreux, Gruyere, Aosta (Italy) and Evian (France).
The International Summer Camps in La Tzoumaz Switzerland offer the same camp as above with camps focused on sports, languages, ecology, and long-term development.
Windsor Mountain InternationalWindsor Mountain International was founded in 1961, as Interlocken International Camp and leads young people to discover the magic of creating friendships across cultures. At Windsor Mountain International SUMMER CAMP, activities include sports, theatre, arts and crafts ranging from stained glass to Batik, festivals, music such as guitar, and Jamaican steel drumming, as well as a wide range of outdoor adventure including rock-climbing, camping, kayaking, and a world class ropes course. Last summer Windsor Mountain represented 29 countries which gives campers an opportunity to learn about a broad variety of countries and cultures while making lifetime friends from around the world. We also have an ASL (American Sign Language) program which integrates Deaf students and staff into the camp community.
Windsor Mountain offers exciting summer TRAVEL PROGRAMS for students in grades 8-12. All our travel programs are creative adventures focusing on building friendships among diverse cultures, and include community service learning, language opportunities, cross cultural exchanges and environmental explorations. Travel destinations include Puerto Rico, Caribbean, China, Southern Africa, Peru and western USA. We also have a NEW ENGLAND ADVENTURE program for students in grades 6-8 and a Vermont cycling program for students in grades 8-10.
Summer Study ProgramsSummer Study Programs offer students a unique summer opportunity which combines stimulating academics with unforgettable sports, recreational, social and/or cultural activities. Summer Study Programs is the "Total Pre-Collegiate Experience" at Penn State University, the University of Colorado at Boulder, the University of Vermont, or Summer Study in Paris at The Sorbonne. 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 weeks - early July to mid August.
Summer Study Programs focuses on Pre-College, Academic Enrichment and Outdoor Adventure. Activities include: College Credit and Enrichment Classes, SAT Prep, Sports, Recreation, exciting Nightlife and weekend travel adventures.
Academic Treks by BroadreachAcademic Treks, the academic and service adventure division of Broadreach, offers summer programs for teenagers that blend hands-on learning, community service, adventure, cultural immersion and international travel. The 20-30 day summer trips focus on marine science, language immersion or cultural studies and qualify for college credit as well as up to 55 hours of community service credit. Imagine studying dolphins with researchers in Belize, learning Spanish while you trek through the spectacular Andes or working on sustainable agriculture projects in the heart of the Amazon. This is just a taste of the adventure!
In addition to hands-on research and studies, Academic Treks program activities can include SCUBA diving, sailing, rainforest treks, hiking, zip-lining, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, surfing, horseback trips, spelunking, home-stays and 10-55 hours of community service.
Outward BoundOutward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

BroadreachBroadreach offers summer adventures for teenagers with SCUBA, sailing, marine biology, surfing and wilderness programs in the Caribbean, Baja, Australia, Red Sea, Costa Rica, Honduras, Belize, Panama, Yucatan, Egypt, Solomon Islands and Fiji. No experience is required for many trips. Small groups allow participants to learn more, do more and have more fun! 14-35 day co-ed trips for teenagers ages 13-19, in small groups of 10-14 participants. High school credit, college credit and community service credit is available.
Broadreach program activities include SCUBA diving, sailing, surfing, rainforest treks, hiking, zip line canopy tours, water skiing, sea kayaking, whitewater rafting, community service, ecological & marine biology field studies.
Wellspring United KingdomDeveloped by leading researchers from the U.S. and Europe, Wellspring UK is among the most effective weight loss programmes for children and adolescents. Wellspring UK includes a Lower Camp for ages 11 - 18 years old, plus an Upper Camp for young adults aged 18 - 24. Both Upper and Lower Camps are geared to the capabilities and expectations of that age group to maximize effectiveness. Of course, our focus is not simply weight loss, but on changing behaviour so the weight loss continues.
