Langskib Wilderness Experience
Wilderness canoeing adventures for boys
Langskib offers wilderness canoeing adventures from our remote Canadian island base camp with an emphasis on personal growth, leadership development, and expedition skills. We believe that our canoe trips are an excellent metaphor for life's journey and represent an important rite of passage into adulthood. While the experience is challenging, it is more about learning from the land and each other, than conquering one mountain or river. Whether it is their first time away from home or they are seasoned wilderness adventurers, participants can find the experience that is just right for them. Teeth to the Wind!
Sessions include 2, 3-1/2, and 7 week programs for young men ages 10 to 17 in the Temagami region of Ontario.

Wilderness canoe tripping program
Our wilderness canoe trips take us through some of the most beautiful country in the world. Northwaters offers a unique blend of adventure and personal growth in a highly supportive environment. While the experience is challenging, it is not about conquering rivers or mountains, but about learning from the land in a spirit that honors balance, trust and respect. Award winning NYQUEST offers two unique opportunities for family vacations: Family Camp and Grandparent Camp. Camp White Pine
Residential coed summer camp
Camp White Pine is located on a private lake in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands region of Ontario. Each summer our 1600 acre site is home to boys and girls, ages 7 to 16, from around the world. New campers are welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment, where counsellors help them have a wonderful first-time experience. They make friends, try new activities, and create lifelong memories. Our campers and staff return year after year to their "home away from home".
Activities include swimming, waterskiing, wakeboarding, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, tennis, in-line hockey, basketball, fitness, aerobics, dance, baseball, beach volleyball, miniature golf, soccer, arts & crafts, theatre, woodworking, pottery, copper enamelling, glass, school of rock, media arts, video, ropes course, rock climbing, mountain biking, outdoor recreation, archery, canoe trips, campwide events, and outings.
Fireside Adventures
Wilderness Adventure Coed Camp
Fireside Adventures provides Canadian and International youth 5 to 21 day outdoor adventure programs in British Columbia. Youth aged 8 to 17 are invited to join our guided adventures, leadership training and outdoor recreation activities in some of this province's most scenic locations. We provide opportunities for personal growth, lasting friendships to prosper and most importantly, to have a great time during the summer months.
This year find us exploring Whistler, Vancouver, Victoria, Tofino, Manning Park, and both Gambier and Galiano Islands. Depending on your program choice, our activities range from canoeing, hiking, backpacking, orienteering, cycling, camping, environmental education, leadership training, and outdoor team building activities.

Safari Zoo Camp

Safari Zoo Camp at Jungle Cat World Zoo is a unique environmental education program that offers kids the privilege to learn about nature through fun and exciting hands-on experiences. Activities include: Zookeeping (feeding, cleaning and watering the animals), mountain biking, hiking, wall climbing, rappelling, canoeing, caving, swimming, outdoor survival, Earth stewardship projects, arts and crafts!
Our mission is to protect and conserve the natural world by offering the public engaging wildlife education programs and experiences with animals to help foster the necessary awareness, knowledge, skills and confidence to live in an environmentally responsible way. CAZA accredited since 1989.
Camp Ak-O-Mak
Residential girls' summer camp
Founded in 1928, Camp Ak-O-Mak is renowned for its competitive and open water swimming programs. Ak-O-Mak provides the perfect combination of a traditional summer camp experience with instruction in over 32 sports/activities. Competitive programs are offered in swimming, triathlon, and canoe/kayak sprint racing for all levels.
Ak-O-Mak is located on beautiful Ahmic Lake in the unspoiled Almaguin Highlands of Ontario. Our location provides the perfect setting for girls to appreciate the wonders of nature "unplugged". Ak-O-Mak helps girls discover the exhilaration of pushing oneself a little further, of digging a little deeper and discovering that "I CAN do it!" feeling. It has been said that "Self esteem is gained through the self doing things worthy of esteem!" and we have 80 years of alumni who can attest to this. Ak-O-Mak's smaller size (maximum 100 campers and a 3:1 staff:camper ratio) fosters a closely knit atmosphere where all ages get to know, support and encourage each other. These relationships contribute to the safe environment where girls can develop their athletic skills and experience challenges that enhance personal and social development. Camp Mini-Yo-We
Residential camp with separate sessions for boys and girls
Camp Mini-Yo-We wants to be the home of your excellent summer this year! Mini-Yo-We is a Christian overnight summer camp located on beautiful Mark Lake in Muskoka that has been connecting with children, youth and adults since 1946. MYW offers exciting outdoor adventure programs where one-week consecutive sessions can be combined to create your own experience. Our Camp community is based on small cabin groups and camper to staff ratios of less than 3:1. Our 270 acre property has many activities including: wakeboarding, sailing, wilderness survival, rock climbing, zip lining, archery, canoe trips, photography, horsemanship, crafts, golf, theatre arts, ceramics, mountain biking, martial arts and many more!

Camp Temagami
Wilderness adventure program
Camp Temagami is a wilderness canoe-tripping camp for boys and girls aged 10 to 18. For over 75 years, our beautiful 20-acre island has been the origin and destination of canoe trips ranging from overnight to five weeks in length. Our highly qualified and experienced guides help campers grow as canoe trippers, as part of the community, and as young women and men.
Using exceptionally high quality equipment, our program provides the backdrop for fun, excitement and adventure. We believe in the importance of self-initiated play and opportunities to explore in safe, natural environments. While canoeing is our focus we also offer a variety of other in-camp activities such as sailing, swimming, fishing, archery, and arts & crafts.
Each summer at Camp Temagami leaves campers with a lifetime of memories.
