The Sheridan School Mountain Campus serves private and public schools from all over the DC/MD/VA area. We serve youth ages 6-18. We're a small personal operation serving 25 to 60 students at a time, with a heavy emphasis on adventure, teambuilding and hands on social studies programming. Instructors are responsible for running a wide range of adventure, environmental, and experiential activities. Average work week runs fairly non-stop from Monday mid-morning to Friday early-afternoon, including a couple evening programs. Usually one weekend a month. May & September being incredibly busy. Must be 21 years of age or older. Previous experience working with youth and outdoor/adventure ed. experience. Solid judgment. CPR and First Aid or WFA (WFR strongly preferred).
