Position Available: Summer Cabin Counselor
Salary Range: $150/week plus meals & housing
  • Work with children age 5-11, boys & girls in an overnight environment. Campers are very diverse in race and socioeceonomic backgrounds. 50% attend on scholarship.
  • We are seeking college students who desire a future career with children such as Education, Psychology & Sociology. Must be willing to work for a Christian organization.
  • By day, counselor must work at two different activity areas which may include swimming, swim lessons, ropes course, canoes, fishing, nature, archery, horses, crafts, drama and sports.

  • Work side by side with Camp Director in supervising all counselors and campers. Resolving conflicts, dealing with problems, homesickness, etc.
  • Create weekly schedules for activities and staff time off. Oversee operations and documentation for two small grants.
  • Provide fun solutions during rainy days, lead crazy songs, take daily photos and post to website, supervise various activity areas.
