Group Leader : Be a role model, mentor and friend to a group of 12 to 15 children. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the children's safety, managing their behavior, building relationships with them while making sure that each child is happy and feeling part of the group. You will model constructive participation in all activities including sports and recreation, visual and performing arts and swim. Group Leaders must be 17 years of age or older and must attend 4 days of paid training before camp begins. Health Director : The Health Director is responsible for all health issues with both children and staff throughout the summer. Health issues range from cuts, bruises and stomach aches to dealing with any serious injuries that may occur. In addition to handling all medical issues that arise, the Health Director is responsible for preparing all paperwork required by the Health Department and carefully documenting all incidents that occur. Health Directors must be NYS licensed Emergency Medical Technician, RN or LPN.
