Interact with and supervise all children participating in Youth Activities programs, ages 3-17 years, by providing a safe environment so children of all ages will enjoy themselves. Assist in the set-up for all facilitated activities and execute clean-up duties upon completion of programs. Assist with the cleaning and sanitizing of spaces and objects, before, during, and after the facilities open. Provide registration/check-in/check-out services for guests in children's spaces on the ship and Castaway Cay. Prepare food trays for children during meal or snack times. Minimum two years recent experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced recreational/camp environment with children. Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills. Must be able to command the attention of large groups of children. Schooling in recreation, education, or related field of study is preferred. Position Available: Trip Leader Salary Range: $2700-$2900 plus room and board
Every camper goes on at least one out of camp trip. Our goal is for campers to have safe, unhurried experiences that are unforgettable. Responsibilities include planning logistics, ensuring safety standards are met, ensuring camper readiness, driving camp vans, and coordinating equipment and food. Qualifications include at least 21 years of age; experience working with children in the outdoors; experience planning and leading backpacking, canoeing, and kayaking trips; current certification from NOLS, Outward Bound, or similar program, or documented experience leading a variety of progressive outdoor experiences. Required certifications include current certification in CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Wilderness First Aid is required; Wilderness First Responder is preferred. Current American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguard certification is required; this course is offered pre-season. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Position Available: Camp Nurse Salary Range: $800-$900 per week, plus room & board and tuition for 1 or 2 camp age girls (ages 8-16)
We're looking for a Camp Nurse who can provide expert health care with a smile! Camp Nurse candidates should be comfortable in the outdoors, be flexible and fun, and enjoy working with children. We're seeking a Camp Nurse either for the entire nine-week season, or two people to work for half the summer each. Responsibilities: dispensing meds, providing first aid for minor injuries, record keeping, and communicating with parents, camp leadership and local health care providers.
