Camp Augusta is an 80 acre, non-profit, residential summer camp located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. We are a small camp with 90 campers and 50 staff. Staff training begins late May. We aim to help campers develop self-confidence, independence, social skills, creativity, activity skills, environmental awareness and appreciation, friendships, and healthy living skills while having FUN in a small, tight, true community set in a beautiful forest. Cabins are open air and don't have electricity (bath houses do have electricity and hot water). We get little to no rain in the summer so with the exception of the lodge, kitchen, office and living quarters, everything is outside. All 2011 positions have been filled.
