Fireside Adventures
Wilderness Adventure Coed Camp
Fireside Adventures provides Canadian and International youth 5 to 21 day outdoor adventure programs in British Columbia. Youth aged 8 to 17 are invited to join our guided adventures, leadership training and outdoor recreation activities in some of this province's most scenic locations. We provide opportunities for personal growth, lasting friendships to prosper and most importantly, to have a great time during the summer months.
This year find us exploring Whistler, Vancouver, Victoria, Tofino, Manning Park, and both Gambier and Galiano Islands. Depending on your program choice, our activities range from canoeing, hiking, backpacking, orienteering, cycling, camping, environmental education, leadership training, and outdoor team building activities.

Wellspring Vancouver
Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring Vancouver will teach teens ages 11 - 18 from around Canada and the United States, including those in the Pacific Northwest, how to live a healthy lifestyle. Using the picturesque setting and local adventure options, Wellspring campers will hike, bike, climb, kayak, rappel, as well as participate in more traditional camp activities and sports - soccer, volleyball, scavenger hunts, Color War, and personal training.
Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a "BC" (Behavioral Coach) in group and individual sessions knits these elements together into comprehensive lifestyle change for rapid weight loss and long-term weight control.

We provide parents with the peace of mind that their children are safe, active and developing new skills - both social and physical. Weekly sessions are available for both Day and Residential programs. We also offer a 'one night' overnight option for families who are looking for an introduction to Overnight Camp.
Our one-on-one integrated program allows children with special needs to participate in a Camp program. Transportation to and from you home is available from most areas of Aurora, Newmarket, Maple, Richmond Hill, Oak Ridges and King City. We also have central pick-up points throughout Markham, Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto. A superb location, a wide variety of activities and a 1 to 4 staff to camper ratio all add to a great camp experience.
Camp Ak-O-Mak

Founded in 1928, Camp Ak-O-Mak is renowned for its competitive and open water swimming programs. Ak-O-Mak provides the perfect combination of a traditional summer camp experience with instruction in over 32 sports/activities. Competitive programs are offered in swimming, triathlon, and canoe/kayak sprint racing for all levels.
Ak-O-Mak is located on beautiful Ahmic Lake in the unspoiled Almaguin Highlands of Ontario. Our location provides the perfect setting for girls to appreciate the wonders of nature "unplugged". Ak-O-Mak helps girls discover the exhilaration of pushing oneself a little further, of digging a little deeper and discovering that "I CAN do it!" feeling. It has been said that "Self esteem is gained through the self doing things worthy of esteem!" and we have 80 years of alumni who can attest to this. Ak-O-Mak's smaller size (maximum 100 campers and a 3:1 staff:camper ratio) fosters a closely knit atmosphere where all ages get to know, support and encourage each other. These relationships contribute to the safe environment where girls can develop their athletic skills and experience challenges that enhance personal and social development. Residential boys' summer campWendigo is essentially a canoe-tripping outpost offering supervised canoe trips throughout Algonquin Park's 3000 square miles of protected wilderness. The boys are involved in every facet of a canoe-trip. They learn how to pack out a trip, both food and equipment. They learn the value of efficiency and ingenuity in setting up camp and in outdoor cooking.
Wendigo's rigorous program helps older boys, aged 12-16, to develop their canoe-tripping skills. Trips are limited to 7 campers at one time. 13-day, 3-week, and 7-week sessions are available.
Camp Temagami
Wilderness adventure program
Camp Temagami is a wilderness canoe-tripping camp for boys and girls aged 10 to 18. For over 75 years, our beautiful 20-acre island has been the origin and destination of canoe trips ranging from overnight to five weeks in length. Our highly qualified and experienced guides help campers grow as canoe trippers, as part of the community, and as young women and men.
Using exceptionally high quality equipment, our program provides the backdrop for fun, excitement and adventure. We believe in the importance of self-initiated play and opportunities to explore in safe, natural environments. While canoeing is our focus we also offer a variety of other in-camp activities such as sailing, swimming, fishing, archery, and arts & crafts.

Camp Tanamakoon
Residential girls' summer campThe program at Tanamakoon provides fun and enhances the development of each child. Daily activities for younger campers ensure they attain basic camping skills. The program for older campers allows for individual choice. The teaching of all activities is skillfully planned by competent instructors to meet the age, ability and interest of each camper. Campers return year after year to participate in a program filled with excitement, adventure and fun.

Camp Kodiak
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.
We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.
In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.
We call it Club Kodiak. In addition to our recreational, athletic and social programs, we offer our Club Kodiak guests a life skills program. Please see our web site for details.

Teen Ranch is a Summer Sports Camp and Retreat Facility in the beautiful Caledon Hills. A private independent camp, with emphasis on traditional camping blended with a fresh approach of choosing from over 30 activities, with specialized training at each activity-Personal growth of campers and respect are integral to the camp culture.
It's easy for campers to have fun and even make friends at camp but the goal is for your child to make unique types of friendships; friendships that last a lifetime and for campers to grow up in a community that teaches respect, tolerance, and an appreciation for what the world has to offer. With 190 staff (one third college graduates!) for just over 400 campers we are able to meet the individual needs of every single child.
Activities include almost all sports, arts, and outdoor adventure. Session length: two weeks (for youngest campers), four weeks or seven weeks.

Onondaga Camp is one of the oldest private residential camps in Canada. Located near Minden Ontario, Onondaga has been providing exciting summers for girls and boys for over 90 years. Onondaga's program is designed to enable each individual to become more self-assured and accepting of others in a safe, supportive and active environment. It is our belief that Onondaga must value tradition but also advance with the times in order to appeal to the needs, interests and attitudes of today's youth. Safari Zoo Camp at Jungle Cat World Zoo is a unique environmental education program that offers kids the privilege to learn about nature through fun and exciting hands-on experiences. Camp Li-Lo-Li

Camp Li-Lo-Li is a Christian camp nestled on 440+ acres of mountain splendor in the Southern Tier of New York State right near Allegany State Park. With its own small lake, babbling brooks, and adventurous wilderness setting, it's a good place for all to come. Featured at Li-Lo-Li are its water sports activities with a pool, a lake, and the Allegany River for those long canoeing rides. Horseback riding for both new and experienced riders can include trail rides into the surrounding mountains.
The "Promised Land" Ropes Challenge Course adds breathtaking excitement with all of its ground and treetop events. There are also a variety of sports activities, arts & crafts, hayrides, campfires, achievement programs for learning camping skills, and much, much more.
