Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Camp High Rocks is a small camp for boys in the mountains of Western North Carolina. High Rocks is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests.

Wilderness adventure program
SOAR has provided multi-length, high adventure programs for youth diagnosed with ADHD and/or learning disabilities for over 35 years. Recognizing that the outdoors provides an ideal classroom where relevant learning can occur and life skills can be taught, emphasis is placed on developing self-confidence, social skills, and problem solving techniques. Course are co-ed, and are dveloped for youth ages 8-25 with average to above average intelligence and physical ability. Staff to student ratio is low, and instructors are hired for qualities of maturity, caring and passion for working with our population in the outdoor setting.
Activities vary by location and range from snorkeling and fishing in the Florida keys; backpacking and rafting in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC; surfing and sea kayaking in California; horsepacking and fishing in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming; to canoeing and rock climbing in the Adirondack mountains of New York. Specialty courses include a trip tropical Belize, learning to whitewater kayak in North Carolina, earning SCUBA certifications in Florida, and even participating in a Wyoming Rodeo! Our Postgraduate program serves young adults ages 18-25.

Camp Arrowhead for Boys

Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Camp Arrowhead is a Christian, high-adventure summer camp for boys ages 6-16. Sessions range from one to seven weeks, and since 1937, generations of campers have experienced life-changing summers at Arrowhead.
Our passion is to help every boy become the man God created him to be. Because we are small, and because we actively create a partnership with parents, we will know the specific hopes and needs of your son. Rockbrook Camp for Girls

Rockbrook Camp is an overnight summer camp for girls located in the mountains of North Carolina. Rockbrook was established in 1921 and currently is welcoming fourth-generation campers. It offers 2, 3 and 4 week sessions to girls, ages 6 to 16.
Campers choose from a wide variety of activities including horseback riding, arts and crafts and outdoor adventure. Activities include: pottery, weaving, painting and drawing, sewing, rock climbing, archery, canoeing, rafting, basketry, jewelry making, backpacking, riflery, and more!

A Camping Tradition Since 1914 Camp Dixie provides a supportive, family-like environment by limiting its enrollment to 70 campers. Considered conservative and traditional, our summer residential program is designed for children between the ages of 6 to 15. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northeast Georgia, near Clayton at an elevation of 3000 feet, Camp Dixie covers more than 345 lush acres.
Camp Dixie offers one, two and multiple week sessions. An important ingredient to the success of each camper is Dixie's limited enrollment. Camp Raven Knob is one of the largest Boy Scout camps in the United States. Troops attend for one week periods from all across the state and nation.
Raven Knob offers instruction in 40+ merit badges, as well as programs for new scouts and adventure programs for older scouts.
Camp Caraway

Camp Caraway is a camp for boys, sponsored by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Boys do not need to be Baptist to attend. We also have a Christian backpacking program called Christian High Adventure, featuring male-only and coed trips.
Our camp is located in the beautiful Uwharrie Mountains, seven miles west of Asheboro, North Carolina. Since 1963 more than 50,000 boys have been challenged toward strengthening their Christian walk at Caraway.
