FOR KIDS ONLY...keep reading! Everything you want from a summer camp is at Fairview Lake YMCA. When you sign up for our traditional sleep away camp, you get to make your own schedule and choose the activities you like most! Our great activities include windsurfing/sailing, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, rock climbing, dance, drama, in-line skating, kayaking, high and low-ropes courses, snorkeling, street hockey, swimming, voice, guitar, and of course tons of other sports options. We also have a horseback riding camp and other specialty camps for tennis, fine arts, sailing/windsurfing. Some of these specialty camps are only for boys and others are only for girls. If you are the adventurous type, you might want to sign up for one of our challenging adventure trips where you can do some real rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing safaris, fishing, biking or cave exploring.
We have over 600 acres of forests and fields, a 70,000-acre national park in our backyard and a mile-long beautiful lake for you to explore. Our kids and counselors come from all over the world. C'mon, make new friends and learn something new. Parents, our kids will want to make Fairview Lake their home away from home!

Coed Residential and Day Summer Camp
Since 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. We are committed to each individual becoming a vital part of the community. Simplicity, acceptance, a non-competitive program, and an appreciation of the natural world are our core values. We maintain a camper/staff ratio of 3:1. Our residential camp offers sessions of 1, 2, and 3 weeks in length. We grow 70% of our food on our farm and operate an 1890's Grist Mill as an extension of that program. We also have a small Day Camp for children K-4th grade.
Primary activities at our coed camp include: Horseback Riding, Outdoor Living Skills, Farm, Mountain Biking, Texture Crafts, Rock Climbing, Grist Mill, Waterfront, Whitewater Kayaking and Canoeing, Pioneer Crafts, Sports, Fine Arts, Web of Life, and Backpacking and much more.

Separate Teen Campus: Cayuga provides two separate programs geared to the different age groups on each campus. Teen Campus is reserved exclusively for teenagers who are entering 8th and higher. Junior Campus houses campers entering 1st to 8th grade who are age 13 and younger.
Create Your Own Activity Schedule: Campers select their own activities each morning after breakfast. You sign-up for activities with your friends, so you can attend the same activities together. Juniors (4th grade and lower) travel together as a cabin group to activities under the direct supervision of their counselor. The cabin activity schedule is different each day of the week!

Situated on 120 privately owned acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia, Camp Tall Timbers offers 1,2,3,5 and 6 week sessions for boys and girls in grades 1st-10th from June to August. We offer programs that help to foster a camper's personal development in a broad range of activities.

Camp Friendship was founded in 1966 and is still managed by the Ackenbom family. Camp Friendship is more than just fun and games, we also cater to the development needs of our campers. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 520 acres Camp Friendship offers a variety of programs for boys and girls ages 7-16. Traditional camp programs for Juniors and Teens offer more than 40 activities for campers to choose from to create a fun and fulfilling summer.
Our campers can mix and match one-week sessions with VIVA! Trips for teens or add a half-day Sports Clinic including Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, and Waterskiing instructed by qualified instructors. Merestead, the oldest sports camp for girls in the United States, moves into its 66th consecutive season of summer camps for individual players, teams and coaches. Merestead offers camps with unique programs in field hockey, lacrosse, or both sports, which encourages players to grow and excel as athletes and team players. Merestead is for girls ages 11-18 years. From its beginnings in 1946, Merestead has emphasized the international ties that link players of these two great international sports.
Merestead's coaching staff includes experienced U.S. high school and college coaches, many of whom have played or coached at the U.S. level. In addition, the staff includes experienced international coaches and players from England, Spain, Holland, and South Africa. Merestead sets itself apart from other camps with our staff. Professional educators, who supervise the curriculum and daily program, also oversee this world class coaching staff.
