Camp Ak-O-Mak
Residential girls' summer camp
Founded in 1928, Camp Ak-O-Mak is renowned for its competitive and open water swimming programs. Ak-O-Mak provides the perfect combination of a traditional summer camp experience with instruction in over 32 sports/activities. Competitive programs are offered in swimming, triathlon, and canoe/kayak sprint racing for all levels.
Ak-O-Mak is located on beautiful Ahmic Lake in the unspoiled Almaguin Highlands of Ontario. Our location provides the perfect setting for girls to appreciate the wonders of nature "unplugged". Ak-O-Mak helps girls discover the exhilaration of pushing oneself a little further, of digging a little deeper and discovering that "I CAN do it!" feeling. It has been said that "Self esteem is gained through the self doing things worthy of esteem!" and we have 80 years of alumni who can attest to this. Ak-O-Mak's smaller size (maximum 100 campers and a 3:1 staff:camper ratio) fosters a closely knit atmosphere where all ages get to know, support and encourage each other. These relationships contribute to the safe environment where girls can develop their athletic skills and experience challenges that enhance personal and social development. Camp Mini-Yo-We
Residential camp with separate sessions for boys and girls
Camp Mini-Yo-We wants to be the home of your excellent summer this year! Mini-Yo-We is a Christian overnight summer camp located on beautiful Mark Lake in Muskoka that has been connecting with children, youth and adults since 1946. MYW offers exciting outdoor adventure programs where one-week consecutive sessions can be combined to create your own experience. Our Camp community is based on small cabin groups and camper to staff ratios of less than 3:1. Our 270 acre property has many activities including: wakeboarding, sailing, wilderness survival, rock climbing, zip lining, archery, canoe trips, photography, horsemanship, crafts, golf, theatre arts, ceramics, mountain biking, martial arts and many more!
Mini-Yo-We has new modern accommodations and facilities and we offer a unique camp experience, innovative programming, fabulous leadership opportunities, dedicated staff and a safe place for campers to stretch and grow physically, socially, mentally & spiritually; to be the people God wants them to be. Camp Eden Woods is located in Haliburton Ontario. 2.5 hours north from Toronto, Ontario. Our program offers a small family environment. Nurturing and committed to traditional camping. Our team has made a vow to BRING REAL CAMP BACK. Our camp will offer new campers a unique sleepover camp experience like no other.
At Camp Eden Woods our commitment to nature, ecology and traditional camping allows campers to spend their summers in a natural setting where they can grow and flourish and build lifelong memories and friends.
Overnight camp activities include Sailing, Water Skiing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Golf, Basketball, Hiking, Soccer, Hockey, Tennis, Visual Art, Dance, and more!
Camp Kodiak
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.
We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.
In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.
We call it Club Kodiak. In addition to our recreational, athletic and social programs, we offer our Club Kodiak guests a life skills program. Please see our web site for details.
Camp Manitou (Canada)
Residential coed summer camp
A private independent camp, with emphasis on traditional camping blended with a fresh approach of choosing from over 30 activities, with specialized training at each activity-Personal growth of campers and respect are integral to the camp culture.
It's easy for campers to have fun and even make friends at camp but the goal is for your child to make unique types of friendships; friendships that last a lifetime and for campers to grow up in a community that teaches respect, tolerance, and an appreciation for what the world has to offer. With 190 staff (one third college graduates!) for just over 400 campers we are able to meet the individual needs of every single child.
Activities include almost all sports, arts, and outdoor adventure. Session length: two weeks (for youngest campers), four weeks or seven weeks.
Muskoka Woods

Muskoka Woods is a Christian Youth Resort that welcomes all young people to life changing experiences. Camp guests choose from water sports and athletics, media and arts, leadership and team building programs. Muskoka Woods operates all year round on Lake Rosseau as a non-profit youth organization. Our skilled staff are selected for their trustworthy character, ability with children and love for their Creator.
