Hosmer Point CampCome Row, Sail, Run, Bike, Garden, Build and Play with us in Vermont!
Hosmer Point is a non-profit summer camp on Hosmer Pond in the mountains of Vermont. We offer 2-week long sessions for girls and boys between the ages of 9 and 15. Campers can choose from one of three FOCUS areas each week: waterfront/sculling, farm build, or A.C.E. (Adventure Challenge Excellence). Campers will round out their day with various elective offerings.
Hosmer Point's philosophy places the campers at the center of what we do, fostering a love of lifetime sports, teaching skills they'll use forever, and instilling an appreciation for our surrounding environment so children may become caring stewards of the future.
Camp Nashoba NorthNashoba North offers a wonderful summer camp experience for boys and girls ages 7 to 15. Located on the shore of Crescent Lake in the Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, Nashoba North is nestled on ninety-five acres of pinewoods and open fields. Campers enjoy breathtaking mountain views and serene peacefulness.
We have a large array of water sports on crystal clear Crescent Lake. Beautiful facilities and cabins are bright and equipped with showers, toilets and electricity. Individual camper schedules. Nashoba has tennis, soccer, theater, dance, archery, pottery, baseball, basketball, woodworking, animal care, art, rock-climbing, and much more! Extensive riding and golf programs. We have an energetic staff in a supportive atmosphere with an fantastic 3 to 1 camper/staff ratio. Excellent health care staff.
Nashoba North is a non-sectarian ACA accredited camp. International campers are welcome. 4, 7, and 8 week sessions; two 1-week horseback riding program; 15 Discovery program for first time campers in grade 5 or below.
Camp RunoiaTradition, leadership, caring, fun and adventure for girls aged 8-15. Camp Runoia is located on more than 85 acres on Great Pond, a crystal clear lake in Central Maine and is about learning to live with other people, sharing ideas and working out differences.
Activities include: sailing, riflery, wind surfing, rowing, kayaking, arts and crafts, drama, camp craft, archery, tennis, soccer, softball, swimming, diving, canoeing, kickball, English horseback riding, ropes course - high and low elements, environmental education, outdoor living skills, and much more!
Long Lake Camp AdventuresYour summer adventure begins at Long Lake Camp in New York's Great Adirondack Park. Every day is thrilling as you embark on your unique journey. At Long Lake Adventure Camp our campers have the unique opportunity to create their own schedule from a wide variety of options for each of our seven periods. We go on many exciting trips exploring the Adirondack high peaks, white water rafting down unspoiled rivers, plus sea plane rides and theme parks with roller coasters and giant water slides!
Everyday you can go horseback riding, tubing, ATVing, play paintball, do our high ropes course and all land and water sports, you can start a rock band or get creative in our fine arts building. Since 1969 our family has provided the most wonderful experiences in summer fun. Campers immediately feel at home enabling them to thrive and grow. Campers enjoy all the positive aspects of camp life while living in modern cabins, having great fun and learning skills that will last a lifetime.
Netop Summer CampNetop (nee-tope, meaning "friend") is a traditional overnight camp for boys (8-15) located in Casco Maine. On 100 acres and a magnificent private lake, Netop offers a wide range of sports, water activities, wilderness trips and arts, such as rock band, drama, woodcrafts and film-making. Key features include:
• Ideal size (just under 100 campers) creates an exceptionally friendly and spirited community
• Spectacular outdoor environment featuring platform tents under a pine grove
• Flexible sessions of 2.5 weeks, 3.5 weeks or 6 weeks - plus a 12 day "starter" option for the youngest campers
• A "four spokes" philosophy that encourages growth and balance in four main areas of life
Netop is a supportive community that instills confidence and values, while producing lasting friendships and memories. The program is rich and varied. Campers choose activities such as guitar, rock band, soccer, baseball, archery, basketball, woodcraft, sailing, lacrosse, tennis, fishing, conditioning, drama, boating, swimming, film and more. Team sports are offered for inter-camp competition. Unique events include tribal games competition, campfires, socials with girls' camps, ladder tournaments (ping pong, tetherball, chess, foul shooting) and many others.
Camp TimanousAfter a summer at Timanous, boys return home more independent, self-confident, and self-sufficient. With 125 campers, we know each boy by name and can respond to their personal needs. Located on a beautiful lake in Southern Maine with one mile of shorefront. 90% of our staff were former Timanous campers, averaging over 10 years at camp. 26 states and 11 countries were represented in 2011. Campers choose from a variety of activities including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing,soccer, riflery, tennis, archery, lacrosse, wood working, pottery, handicrafts. We also have a strong camping trip program. We have a very high return rate of both campers and counselors.
