Camp Highlander
Residential coed summer camp
Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the North Carolina mountains, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. Our qualified and caring staff are able leaders, dedicated to providing each child with an exciting summer of adventure, while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Our program consists of over 35 activities with five primary disciplines including sports, waterfront, arts, horseback riding and wilderness experience. One thing that makes Camp Highlander so unique is our wonderful off-camp adventures. Whitewater rafting trips to the Nantahala River, overnights in Pisgah Forest, water-skiing at Lake Keowee, swimming in the beautiful waterfalls and Looking Glass Falls . . . taking our campers into the magical Appalachian mountains is the highlight of their experience. At Camp Highlander, we are committed to teaching our campers a deep respect for nature and an increased awareness of not only themselves, but of their peers and surroundings.
Camp Arrowhead for Boys
Residential Summer Camp for Boys
Located in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Camp Arrowhead is a Christian, high-adventure summer camp for boys ages 6-16. Sessions range from one to seven weeks, and since 1937, generations of campers have experienced life-changing summers at Arrowhead.
Our passion is to help every boy become the man God created him to be. Because we are small, and because we actively create a partnership with parents, we will know the specific hopes and needs of your son. Because we are passionate, your son will benefit from the tremendous excitement, experience and energy of our summer camp staff. And because our team has a boy's heart for fun, your son will find comradary and know that he is loved.
Set along our very own sparkling clear trout stream, Arrowhead has 217 acres of beautiful woodlands, waterfalls, streams, meadows and trails for boys to explore, camp and ride. We also take advantage of over 2 million acres of nearby mountain forests and rivers of National Forest lands.
Boys live in cabins with others their age and our exceptional counselors.
Campers ride horses, Blacksmith, hike, bike, paddle, water-ski, sail and climb the premiere areas within Western NC. Come join our family!

Camp Caraway
Residential boys' summer camp
Camp Caraway is a camp for boys, sponsored by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Boys do not need to be Baptist to attend. We also have a Christian backpacking program called Christian High Adventure, featuring male-only and coed trips.
Our camp is located in the beautiful Uwharrie Mountains, seven miles west of Asheboro, North Carolina. Since 1963 more than 50,000 boys have been challenged toward strengthening their Christian walk at Caraway.

Camp Crestridge for Girls is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. We are a Christian camp with a recreational emphasis. We help our campers to grow physically and mentally through our skill classes, socially through interactions with the staff and their cabinmates, and spiritually through our cabin devotions and Morning Watch times. At this residential high adventure and sports camp, boys learn to feel with their heart, do with their hands and live together in the spirit of brotherhood. In operation for over fifty years, Pine Crest Day Camp is synonomous with summer fun in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Located on 49 shaded acres, PCDC boasts of offering an exclusive "on campus" program. Facilities include two gymnasiums, a lake, a 900-seat auditorium and one smaller auditorium, batting cages, zip lines, two pools, a kiddie lagoon, and a state-of-the-art dining room.
Kids, ages four through eleven, enjoy a never-ending list of on-campus activities that include: Swimming and diving, Cookie Crafts, Football, Cheerleading, Lacrosse, Spy School, Soccer, Drama, Karaoke, Lanyards and Beads, Basketball, Indoor Miniature Golf, Magic, PCDC-Radio, Trykkes, Video Games, Ballet, Waterslides, Baton, Electric Guitars, and Speed Stacking... to name a few. "We believe it is better to build children than to repair men." Camping is one of the most effective means of reaching children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We provide an environment free from outside distractions of this world such as cell phones, internet, and i-pods. The Word of God is emphasized throughout our daily activities. "Even so it is not the will of our father that one of these little ones should perish."
Camp Woodmont
Residential coed summer camp
A smaller-sized traditional summer camp with extremely close owner supervision. Camp owner Jane Bennett, along with her two children, camp directors Tyran Bennett and Alyson Bennett Gondek are hands-on camp directors with extensive qualifications (see below).
All counseling staff are college students and undergo extensive interviews, background checks and on-site director-led training including five days of climbing and high ropes training led by nationally known trainers, a four-day American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification class led by camp director and Red Cross instructor Tyran Bennett; and Archery certification. Both directors are certified horseback riding instructors and we also send staff to a horseback safety clinic. We top off all this specialty training with a full week of camp policy and activities training immediately prior to camp start.
Our family-type atmosphere means we can get to know every camper; it gives younger campers a feeling of reassurance and belonging and older campers a chance to grow and contribute in a community of support. Our traditional program includes extensive arts/crafts and performing arts as well as sports, aquatics, horseback riding, high adventure and much more.

Residential Coed Fitness and Weight Loss Camp
Wellspring Florida provides campers from the Southeast an amazing opportunity to lose weight and get active in a fun, safe, and beautiful environment. On the water of Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast, campers 11 - 18 years old enjoy one of America's top vacation destinations. Taking advantage of the wonderful sunshine, refreshing local waters, and fantastic campus facilities, campers participate in a variety of outdoor activities and watersports. Then, we cool off back on campus in extensive fitness and recreation facilities, including training and aerobic areas, weight rooms, gyms, and swimming pool. Campers share modern, comfortable, air-conditioned dorms as well as dining and common areas.
Nutrition and culinary classes paired with the delicious food served in the dining hall guarantee knowledge of and love for new foods. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a "BC" (Behavioral Coach) in group and individual sessions knits these elements together into comprehensive lifestyle change for rapid weight loss and long-term weight control.
Gwynn Valley Camp

Since 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. We are committed to each individual becoming a vital part of the community. Simplicity, acceptance, a non-competitive program, and an appreciation of the natural world are our core values. We maintain a camper/staff ratio of 3:1. Our residential camp offers sessions of 1, 2, and 3 weeks in length. We grow 70% of our food on our farm and operate an 1890's Grist Mill as an extension of that program. We also have a small Day Camp for children K-4th grade.
Primary activities at our coed camp include: Horseback Riding, Outdoor Living Skills, Farm, Mountain Biking, Texture Crafts, Rock Climbing, Grist Mill, Waterfront, Whitewater Kayaking and Canoeing, Pioneer Crafts, Sports, Fine Arts, Web of Life, and Backpacking and much more.

Located high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwest North Carolina, YMCA Camp Cheerio is the ideal place for persons of all ages to enjoy a camping or retreat experience. Founded in 1960 by the YMCA of High Point, North Carolina, Camp Cheerio seeks to provide campers with a sustained, creative, and educational experience in the out-of-doors. Rockbrook Camp is an overnight summer camp for girls located in the mountains of North Carolina. Rockbrook was established in 1921 and currently is welcoming fourth-generation campers. It offers 2, 3 and 4 week sessions to girls, ages 6 to 16.
Campers choose from a wide variety of activities including horseback riding, arts and crafts and outdoor adventure. Activities include: pottery, weaving, painting and drawing, sewing, rock climbing, archery, canoeing, rafting, basketry, jewelry making, backpacking, riflery, and more!

The focus at NCC is Android App programming, 2D and 3D video game design, computer programming, digital video production, web page design, A+ and Network+ certification and software applications including networking, animation, Flash and graphics. Each week we offer all levels of programming in Basic, C++, Java, Assembler, HTML, XML, OpenGL and JavaScript.
