Camp Wabanna
Residential & Day coed summer camp
A non-denominational Christian camp located on the Chesapeake Bay. Both overnight and day camp programs are available. Programs run in eight one week sessions, beginning mid-June and running through mid August. A "Leader In Training" program is available for teens ages 15-17 and runs in both 1 week and 2 week sessions. Please refer to our website for exact dates and costs.
Wabanna's summer programs provide a fun-filled, action-packed, and spiritually focused experience. Camp Friendship was founded in 1966 and is still managed by the Ackenbom family. This is a place where campers come back to year after year to visit with old friends and make new ones, supporting our motto "Enter here to be and find a friend". Camp Friendship is more than just fun and games, we also cater to the development needs of our campers. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 520 acres Camp Friendship offers a variety of programs for boys and girls ages 7-16. Traditional camp programs for Juniors and Teens offer more than 40 activities for campers to choose from to create a fun and fulfilling summer.
Our campers can mix and match one-week sessions with VIVA! Trips for teens or add a half-day Sports Clinic including Tennis, Golf, Gymnastics, Soccer, and Waterskiing instructed by qualified instructors. For the girls who just love horses, the Equestrian Program with more than 80 camp-owned horses is the camp program for them! Camp High Rocks is a small camp for boys in the mountains of Western North Carolina. High Rocks is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests.
Aided by a well-trained staff we seek to teach and inspire lasting skills and values. We offer ongoing opportunities for success, a freedom from inhibiting competitive pressure, and an environment that promotes increased self-esteem and a close sense of community. High Rocks offers the opportunity to grow with one, two, three and four week sessions, each with a higher skill and trip progression.

Since 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. We are committed to each individual becoming a vital part of the community. Simplicity, acceptance, a non-competitive program, and an appreciation of the natural world are our core values. We maintain a camper/staff ratio of 3:1. Our residential camp offers sessions of 1, 2, and 3 weeks in length. We grow 70% of our food on our farm and operate an 1890's Grist Mill as an extension of that program. We also have a small Day Camp for children K-4th grade.

Camp & Retreat Center
Alta Mons Outdoor and Retreat Ministry is located in scenic southwest Virginia, is a ministry of the Roanoke District of the United Methodist Church. The 850-acre mountain and valley historic site was formerly a healing springs retreat known as Crockett Springs. Alta Mons is now a modern camp and retreat center offering a wide variety of programs and year round facility options. We have accomodations for 200+ in the summer and 85+ in the winter. We can provide space for your group's retreat, or let us do everything from the group/teambuilding to the food.

Camp Greenbrier for Boys

A Tradition of Fun Since 1898, Camp Greenbrier is located in the Alleghany Mountains along the beautiful Greenbrier River in Alderson, West Virginia. It is a wonderful, safe place where cameprs have fun, develop self-confidence, and make lifelong friends. Boys 7 to 15 years old take part in the traditional camp program that includes archery and rifle, rock climbing, canoeing, snorkeling, kayaking, baseball, basketball. soccer, golf, tennis, swimming, lacrosse, and others.
For 16 to 18 year olds and those who have finished 10th grade, the Leadership Academy offers campers the chance to disvover their leadership skills in a challenging three-week program. Outdoor activities like rock climbing, airsoft, canoeing, a challenge course, and white water rafting are combined with instruction in areas such as time management, goal setting, public speaking, and leadership methods.

Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the North Carolina mountains, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. YMCA Camp Fitch is located on the shores of Lake Erie in NW Pennsylvania. Camp Fitch is a combination of a large traditional summer camp, a tripping program and specialty camps.

The Woodlands Foundation offers over-night summer camps, weekend retreats and additional after- school programs for individuals of all ages with disability and chronic illness. Participants have the opportunity to learn, have fun, and make friends! Camp Montessori is a summer learning community welcoming children from age 2 through 14. Gifted students ages 4-17 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at pretigious colleges and universities, SIG has an excellent well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each student. Students live and learn on campus for three weeks, leaving with the confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.
Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and teaching assistants, SIG individualizes the program for each student. Student safety, security and health are our top priority as SIG programs are well staffed for careful supervision. Our more than 25 years of experience have made us the leading organization in the field.

Camp Pecometh
Christian Coed Summer Camp with Overnight and Day Camp Sessions
Camp Pecometh is the place to come for fun and fellowship. Our summer camp provides kids from K-11 with a traditional Christian summer program, with six-day Overnight sessions, five-day Day camp sessions, and two sessions of Mini-Camp for the younger campers. Water, Fun and Sun!

Our camp was founded by H.T. Confer, and remains in family hands to this day.
