Camp Burnt Gin is a statewide camp for children, teens and young adults who have a physical disability and/or chronic illness. Camp Burnt Gin runs four seven-day sessions for 7-15 year olds; two six-day sessions for 16-20 year olds and a four-day session for 21-25 year olds. 1 to 2 staff to camper ratio.

A variety of traditional camp activities offered. At Camp Burnt Gin, emphasis is placed on what a child can do rather than his limitations.

Camp Cherith
Residential summer camps with sessions for girls only, boys only, and coed 22 Locations- United States and Canada

Cherith camps cover North America and provide a unique setting away from a camper's normal activities. Camp Cherith is a wonderful environment for teaching Christian values and life skills in the camp setting. It is a place where campers learn to make Christ a part of every aspect of their life.

Each of the 22 camps offer a variety of skill activities and outdoor experiences from the traditional camp experiences such as archery, swimming, crafts, and canoeing, to activities such as waterskiing, rock climbing, sailing, and mountain biking that are unique to their geographical area. Some camps have girls weeks, boys weeks, coed, or a combination. Cherith Camping has been around for 60 plus years, is inter-denominational, and affiliated with Pioneer Clubs. Green River Preserve
Residential, coed natural science summer camp Blue Ridge Mountains,
north of Greenville, SC

Play under waterfalls, track wild animals, explore mountain forests with naturalists. Green River Preserve is a 3400 acre wildlife preserve and summer camp for bright young naturalists. Serving rising 4th through 9th graders, our camp is nurturing, noncompetitive and purposefully small with enrollment limited to 112. After morning hikes, campers choose from over 18 elective activities including rock climbing, pottery, archery, fly fishing, music, art and drama. 1, 2 and 3 week sessions are available.

For rising 9th through 12 graders, we offer Green River Expeditions- two-week canoeing, backpacking and kayaking adventures which follow the Green River tradition of combining learning with exploration.

River Bend Sportsmans Resort Summer Camp Program
Residential coed summer camp Inman, South Carolina

River Bend Sportsmans Resort Summer Camp conducts an intensive shooting sports program in four one week sessions with a maximum of 12 campers per session. The camp curriculum provides useful firearm experience for both the novice and advanced camper. Safety in the use and handling of firearms is prominently emphasized in the camp's SC Hunter and Boaters Education classes as well as in all of our shooting program activities.

All rifle and pistol instruction is conducted under NRA guidelines by certified instructors and includes actual range time firing at standard targets from 50 feet to 100 yards. The shotgun program is conducted by NSCA certified instructors with a focus on skeet, five stand and sporting clays. Additional activities include paintball, archery, game identification, turkey calling, deer rattling and other traditional camp activities. Our accommodations are one level, air-conditioned and can house two campers. Classroom activities and general meetings all take place in our conference center.

Outward Bound Wilderness, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based wilderness courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).

Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Since 1962, over 500,000 students have returned from an Outward Bound experience with a deeper knowledge of themselves and the world in which we live.
