B'nai Brith Jewish Community CampBB Camp is a co-ed residential camp for youth between the ages of 8 - 16 years. The Camp is located on Town Island, a 200 acre island on Lake of the Woods, Kenora, Ontario (a 2 1/2 hour drive east of Winnipeg, Manitoba). BB Camp is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests. We provide a safe, fun, and non-competitive camp environment for almost 180 campers and close to 100 staff. Our campers come from all over the world to form ever-lasting friendships and participate in an endless number of programs.
As a close knit camp community, staff work closely with our campers to ensure are cared for during their stay. Utilizing the wilderness setting, campers have the opportunity to try new things, make new friends and challenge themselves. Camp programs activities include: Archery, Kayaking, Swimming, Backpacking, Canoeing, Basketball, Climbing, Ropes Course, Extended canoe trips and overnight camping. Campers enjoy theme programs at night and the session culminates with the anticipated Maccabiah.
