Camp Rockfish is a living laboratory of Christian faith! Our goal is to share the love of Christ and nurture everyone to grow in His grace. Experience a camp where all are equal in God's eyes and where we celebrate the activities, not winning and losing. The Rockfish experience is Christian education in a small community of co-ed groups, each with 8-12 campers and two trained counselors in a family atmosphere. Experience nights in a tree house, the thrill of white water, hayrides, archery, astronomy, nature, photography, a 40' climbing wall, paddleboats, grizzly swims and the Floating-Fire-Funanza.

A Carolina camping tradition since 1912. Camp Greenville offers traditional camping programs, adventure programs, & the challenging "Outback" and "Trailblazer" programs for older campers.

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the western Carolinas, within a one-hour's drive from Greenville, SC, and Asheville, North Carolina.

Our Rock Climbing Camps offer extremely small group "pro camps" with an absolute maximum group size of 8 for teens that wish to take their climbing to the next level. Our climbing camps are 6-12 days long for 13-17 year olds. We are located in Pisgah National Forest and we are the Southeast's only AMGA Accredited Summer Camp Climbing Program.

Our Camps curriculum includes; equipment, techniques and most importantly safety skills of climbing. We trad climb single and multipitch, boulder and aid climb! We are deeply rooted in the Leave No Trace, ethics of climbing and the wilderness so we cover these skills as a core component of the camp.

Academic Treks, the academic adventure division of Broadreach, offers summer programs for high school and college students that blend adventure, hands-on learning, community service, cultural immersion and international travel. The 21-33 day summer trips focus on marine biology, Spanish language and environmental science and qualify for high school and/or college credit, as well as community service credit. Program locations include the Caribbean, Hawaii, British Columbia, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras and Mexico.

In addition to hands-on research and studies, Academic Treks program activities can include SCUBA diving, sailing, rainforest treks, hiking, whitewater rafting, sea kayaking, surfing, horseback trips, home-stays and 15-50 hours of community service.

South Mountain Christian Camp is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in western North Carolina. Established by Eastern Airlines pilot Captain O.A. Fish and his wife Charlotte, SMCC provides a safe, fun, exciting atmosphere while ministering to the spiritual needs of children between the ages of 7 and 15. Our low costs coupled with a financial assistance program enable us to specifically target economically disadvantaged children. Our policy is that no child is denied the opportunity to attend camp for financial reasons.

Our facilities include two lakes for fishing and boating, swimming pool, ball fields, full-size gym, game room, low and high ropes course, indoor climbing wall and giant swing, numerous hiking trails, full-service cafeteria, and air-conditioned cabins. Our program includes daily small group Bible devotionals and nightly chapel services for all ages. Additional activities include archery, crafts, and weekly campfires.

Blue Star Camps Blue Star is a sanctuary from the stresses of the "real world" where campers gain independence skills and self-esteem. Through the preceding six decades of rapid social change, Blue Star has continued to meet the essential developmental needs of children. Blue Star has been a thread consistently woven into the tapestry of the Jewish-American experience. We now welcome summer campers from thirty-five states as well as Europe, Israel, Central and South America.

Our professional instructors challenge campers to succeed in many skill areas while cabin counselors affirm that it is possible to live in peace, friendship and harmony.

Come learn how to surf in the warm emerald green waters and white sand beaches of coastal North Carolina. Surf and explore 4 different islands while learning about amazing coastal ecosystems. The Vineyard is more than just an outstanding sports camp and conference center. It is a ministry dedicated to discipleship. From the beginning, it has been our threefold goal to share God's love, demonstrate (through the lives of our staff) holy living, and explain the challenge of discipleship. Most of our campers come from Christian backgrounds (Catholic and Protestant), but any child of any conviction is welcomed.

Prior to arriving at the camp, each camper chooses a "major". Boys go to their majors in the afternoon, girls in the morning. While boys are at majors, girls attend electives, and vice versa. The electives (two difference choices each day) are chosen at breakfast. The majors offer in-depth instruction, two hours per day, for the entire week.

Camp Woodmont, summer camp for boys and girls 6 -14, in NW GA atop beautiful Lookout Mountain, two hours north of Atlanta and 30 min. south of Chattanooga. Traditional activities include horseback riding, archery, aquatics, high ropes, OLS, challenge course, drama/dance, arts and crafts, and much more! One and two-week sessions.

Located high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains of northwest North Carolina, YMCA Camp Cheerio is the ideal place for persons of all ages to enjoy a camping or retreat experience. Camp Cheerio offers many challenging programs, from summer resident (sleepover) and coed wilderness tripping camps, to senior adult camps, conferences and retreats, adventure programs, and outdoor education.

Traditional Camp: ages 7-15 (girls' and coed sessions); Cheerio Adventures: ages 10-17 (coed only)

Camp Broadstone is Appalachian State University's year round outdoor adventure and retreat center with a specialized summer camp for academically gifted youth. Its 55 acres of woods and meadows are located in the small community of Valle Crucis nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Programs are designed to encourage and to foster intellectual, social, and physical growth. One and two week sessions available.

Enrichment Program provides current 4th through 9th grade campers an opportunity to explore a blend of enrichment classes in science, arts, cultural and environmental studies and adventure activities in high ropes, climbing, canoeing, rafting, hiking and camping trips.

A Christian based adventure program located on the New River in SW Virginia. Maximum age range per group is 3 years. All trips are small groups of 8-12 participants. Our focus is on helping young people learn more about themselves, improve self-confidence, learn leadership, teamwork skills, have fun, and challenge themselves. All equipment provided.

Adventure tripping program for boys and girls ages 10-17, and families. Activities include rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, backpacking, caving, mountain biking, sailing, wind surfing and more. One week, two week, three day and ten day programs.

A summer camp for younger Boys and Girls, ages 5-14. Offering a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. We are a non-competitive, residential and day camp summer program, offering sessions of 1, 2 and 3 weeks in length. 4 to 1 staff ratio. We grow 70% of our food on the farm and operate a 1890's Grist Mill as part of our varied program.

Activities include: Farm, Texture Crafts, Grist Mill, Horseback Riding, Waterfront, Pioneer Crafts, Sports, Fine Arts, Web of Life, Outdoor Living Skills, Climbing, Whitewater Canoeing, Backpacking, and Mountain Biking.

At Kanata, under the guidance of caring counselors and staff, surrounded by natural beauty, your child can spend the summer exploring and experiencing. Not just growing in inches, but growing into his or her own.

Activities include: athletics, dramatic arts, canoeing, swimming, riflery, archery, horseback, arts & crafts. Camp season is June to August for coed campers ages 6-15.

Play under waterfalls, track wild animals, explore mountain forests with naturalists. Green River Preserve is a 3400 acre wildlife preserve and summer camp for bright young naturalists. Serving rising 4th through 9th graders, our camp is nurturing, noncompetitive and purposefully small with enrollment limited to 112. After morning hikes, campers choose from over 18 elective activities including rock climbing, pottery, archery, fly fishing, music, art and drama. 1, 2 and 3 week sessions are available.

For rising 9th through 12 graders, we offer Green River Expeditions- two-week canoeing, backpacking and kayaking adventures which follow the Green River tradition of combining learning with exploration.

Join us for summer adventure, challenge and learning in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC and TN. Campers will make new friends from across the U.S. and have lots of fun in a supportive, noncompetitive environment. Programs are 10 or 16 days with 8-12 students led by 3 instructor guides.

Activities include extensive whitewater rafting and backpacking, as well as rock climbing, caving and mountain biking.

Inside Out, an experiential educational organization, offers all ages challenging outdoor learning opportunities. Experiences illustrate powerful life lessons, and encourage participants to become a dynamic part of a high functioning community group.

Camp Kanuga offers young people an enjoyable and stimulating experience in a Christian setting. The program enables campers to grow emotionally and spiritually while at the same time developing new interests, skills, and friendships. Affiliated with Kanuga Conference Inc., an Episcopal center in the mountains of western North Carolina. We offer strong in-camp programs in a Christian community setting for ages 7-15 and extended backpacking programs for ages 15-16.

Activities include: rock climbing, canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts, environmental awareness, and more.

We have provided a fun and enriching experience for children for over 50 years. Our small size and 3:1 camper:staff ratio insures the individual attention needed to have a fulfilling summer. Our family farm provides exciting "chores" as an integral part of the camp day. Plenty of structure allows for healthy choices without being regimented.

Activities include crafts, wood shop, drama, nature, swimming, innertubing, horseback riding, hiking and campouts. Older children do 2-4 day backpacking trips. Camp games focus on teamwork and cooperation rather than competition.

Eagle's Nest Camp emphasizes the child's total independent development through a progressive self-elected program, intimate contact with the natural environment, and close community life. Children learn what it means to belong to rocks, rivers, wilderness and to community.

Specializing in canoeing, rock climbing, wilderness trekking, art, music, drama and community life. Located in the Little River Valley of Western North Carolina, near Brevard. 1, 2 and 3-week sessions available.

Outward Bound Wilderness, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based wilderness courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).

Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.
