An awesome experience for boys at our traditional North Carolina summer camp. Surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest our wholesome, trained and dedicated staff help in developing lifetime friendships and skills in many activities! Chosatonga maintains a 3:1 staff to camper ratio with some of the most wholesome and awesome staff on the face of the earth!

Activities include: Rock climbing, backpacking, mountain biking, whitewater canoeing and kayaking, archery, arts & crafts, guitar, fishing & more. We have fun, adventures, and teach rich and wonderful skills

Set along a sparkling trout stream, Camp Arrowhead for Boys has over 200 acres of woodland, streams, meadows, and trails for boys to explore. Founded in 1937, the mission of Camp Arrowhead is to build the character, confidence, courage, and compassion of young boys through time honored camping traditions, exciting outdoor adventures, unique creatively focused programs, and the timeless teachings of Jesus Christ.

We have exceptional leadership. You expect it, we insist on it. All of our counselors are carefully chosen with your child's safety and expanding interests in the forefront of our planning. Our programming includes the traditional camp activities of hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, swimming, archery, fishing, and riflery- and we take it a step further by including blacksmithing, woodworking, and ceramics taught by craftsmen and artisans from all over the southeast.

The people, places, and traditions that have made Camp Arrowhead such a special experience for many generations are available for your son this coming summer. From tribal cabin assignments and council fires, the legend of Ten Foot, Iron Man competitions, and the Pothole Club. We have a great summer ahead, and we hope you'll join us.

Turtle Island Preserve is a 1000 acre Nature Preserve, working Appalachian Heritage Farm and Wilderness Retreat Center nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, near the town of Boone, North Carolina. We offer exceptional education in a totally natural living experience with separate sessions for boys and girls. Using basic outdoor living, we have hands on activities that breathe life into American Indian and Colonial History as well as natural sciences. Living close to our natural world brings an understanding, appreciation and love for our environment. We discover our essential needs and learn how to fulfill them together.

Activites include: Primitive skills, swimming, hiking,backpacking, Mountain crafts and lore, blacksmithing, horse drawn carriage rides, shelter and tool making and so much more.

A traditional summer camp for boys on a mountain lake in NC, with a non-competitive wilderness focus. The emphasis is on water (canoeing and kayaking, sailing, and swimming), woods (hiking, rock climbing, and mountain biking), tennis, and horses, and includes the opportunity for lots of wilderness trips.

Camp Ridgecrest for Boys: Impacting lives for God's glory through discipleship and adventure. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC, Camp Ridgecrest is designed for individual attention, maximum fun, and the safety of each child. We facilitate camper growth by offering a Christian camp program that has been thriving since 1929. Camp Ridgecrest for Boys offers over 25 activities taught by solid Christian role models. Our staff are highly trained, committed believers with a heart for children and youth ministry. Join us for an unforgettable experience of fun encompassing physical, mental, social, and spiritual growth.

Located high up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Camp Timberlake for Boys has a long history of offering youngsters the most memorable summers of their lives. We strive not only to provide a summer of fun recreation but, in a larger sense, to develop a camper's character so that they will be stronger spiritually, mentally and physically. ---Outstanding Instruction. ---Structured Program. ---Christian Staff. ---Exceptional Riding Program.

Deep Woods Camp provides a range of wilderness experiences for boys as an entire program. Small enrollment - 28 campers in each session - allows for individual attention.

All campers participate in hiking, backpacking, whitewater canoeing and rafting, rock climbing and mountain biking.

Camp Sea Gull for Boys and Camp Seafarer for Girls are coastal YMCA camps located in North Carolina and provide numerous programs for children, teens, and adults through spring, summer and fall camps, retreats, family camps and corporate training events.

We emphasize seamanship with an extensive fleet of sailboats and motorboats while also offering traditional camp activities such as high and low ropes, environmental education, archery, riflery, golf, tennis, aquatics and canoeing. Character and skill development are a strong focus through one, two and four week sessions.

Campers don't just learn about Colonial history; they live it firsthand. Travel back to the time when our nation was born and live as our patriot forefathers did using authentic equipment and accouterments of the 1700's.

Activities include: shoot black powder musket, throw a tomahawk, make moccasins, candle making, make dolls, write with quill and ink, cook on open fire, and much more. Four sessions starting in June.

Falling Creek Camp is a private independent camp for boys located in the Western North Carolina mountains. Our program seeks to provide boys a maximum opportunity for growth and learning in a mountain setting.

The program includes traditional camp activities as well as many adventure experiences in backpacking, rock climbing, lake and white water canoeing and mountain biking.

Located on 550 acres in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, Camp Rockmont is a private Christian summer camp for boys ages 7-16. Under Christian leadership and in a closely controlled environment, Rockmont seeks to provide each camper with fun and adventure through appropriate challenges; a better understanding and respect for self and others through group living and shared experiences; an appreciation and concern for the enviroment; greater self-reliance, self-respect, self-confidence, and self-esteem; stronger Christian values; and a greater understanding of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

WHAT A DAY!!! BOY AM I ENTHUSIASTIC!!! The overall purpose of Camp Carolina is to make a boy's summer experience safe, fun, memorable and a valuable factor in his complete development. The key to camp is the staff. A counselor's most important characteristic is being a positive role model.

We offer TRADITIONAL in camp activities and HIGH ADVENTURE in a noncompetitive atmosphere. Activities include: mountain boarding, mountain biking, caving, wakeboarding, paintball, rock climbing, skateboarding, horseback, rafting, kayaking, surfing, yoga, archery/Rifelry and many more fun and exciting activities. Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains at an elevation of 2300 feet, we offer traditional summer camp programs with an emphasis on outdoor adventure and fun. Girls - 1, 2, 3 & 4 week sessions in June; Boys - 1, 2, 3 & 4 week sessions- July & early August. 4 to 1 camper to staff ratio. Carefully selected, qualified and responsible counselors. Emphasis on skills development, social development, and spiritual development.

Outstanding facilities - 40 foot climbing tower, two craft shops, two tennis courts, game room, mountain biking, gymnasium, horseback ring, the "blob," 30 acre lake, kayaking, & water skiing.

Camp Raven Knob is one of the largest Boy Scout camps in the United States. Troops attend for one week periods from all across the state and nation.

Raven Knob offers instruction in 40+ merit badges, as well as programs for new scouts and adventure programs for older scouts.
