Located on a perfect lake in Minnesota, Camp Birchwood offers campers ages 7 to 17 with a tremendous variety of water sports as well as all kinds of fun things to do on land. With caring, dedicated, and insightful college-age women as instructors, girls have the amazing opportunity to not just "do" activities, but to become very accomplished in many different areas. Girls go home with lots of confidence.

Every day, girls choose four activities they want to do the next day. These include: sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, tubing, knee-boarding, wake-boarding, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, tennis, horseback riding (Western, English & trail riding), archery, riflery, pottery, arts & crafts, dance, drama, and more!

Ogichi's mission is to empower the strong spirits of young women through wilderness tripping and lifelong community. We're the entrepreneurial sister camp to Kooch-i-ching with 83 summers of experience in wilderness canoeing for boys. Our program focuses on preparation for successful expeditions and capturing insights of inner journeys experienced.

Wilderness canoe trips in Ontario, Canada, with whitewater training, CPR certification & woodsmanship skills taught. 3 weeks for ages 12-21; June 24-July 17. Leadership training & certifications for ages 15 -21; June 14-July 17. College trip offered June 14-23. Women's trips both July 17-26 & September 4-12. Chickadee session for ages 10- 12; July 6-14. In-camp instruction in riflery, archery, sailing, fishing, Native American crafts, yoga, climbing, etc.

Cherith camps cover North America and provide a unique setting away from a camper's normal activities. Camp Cherith is a wonderful environment for teaching Christian values and life skills in the camp setting. It is a place where campers learn to make Christ a part of every aspect of their life.

Each of the 22 camps offer a variety of skill activities and outdoor experiences from the traditional camp experiences such as archery, swimming, crafts, and canoeing, to activities such as waterskiing, rock climbing, sailing, and mountain biking that are unique to their geographical area. Some camps have girls weeks, boys weeks, coed, or a combination. Cherith Camping has been around for 60 plus years, is inter-denominational, and affiliated with Pioneer Clubs. Connecting Kids with Nature!

Ages 8-17: DIRT, ROCKS & WORMS - ages 8-9… short session: rocks eventually become dirt, which everything is made from…where there's dirt, there's worms (includes rock-climbing & rockin' road trip).

NATURE'S NIGHTLIFE & CREPUSCULAR CREATURES - ages 10-11… explore the night to awaken all your senses and experience nocturnal wildlife, as well as animals active at dawn & dusk (includes camp-out, bird banding, high ropes, rock climbing, team building, etc).

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE - ages 12-13… Do you have what it takes to survive in the wild? Wilderness survival skills, wild edibles, wilderness navigation, canoeing, animal tracking, a camp-out, high ropes, rock climbing, Ojibwe skills, team building.

BOUNDARY WATERS ADVENTURE - ages 14-17…test your limits while acquiring new wilderness skills. Travel via canoe and portage in this pristine wilderness. WOODS WILDERNESS SCHOOL program is a different kind of summer camp experience - an opportunity to engage kids in nature through outdoor activities that promote environmental awareness, compassion and an ethic of care for the earth.

Exceptional community built on teamwork, friendships, fun, adventure, acceptance, and recreation skills campers can build on later in life. Our in camp program has over 20 activities to choose from each day, including sailing, windsurfing, horseback trail rides, wilderness skills and a full range of water park activities at our waterfront. Our wilderness tripping programs are led by certified counselors trained to lead exciting and challenging trips: canoeing in the Boundary Waters, rock climbing on the North Shore of Lake Superior, backpacking and hiking on the Superior Trail, mountain biking through National Forests, and kayaking on lakes and streams. Sessions are 1, 2 and 4 weeks.

Full range of in camp activities and wilderness expeditions from overnight up to 21 days on an extended wilderness trip to those that qualify.

Camp Tanadoona is an oasis of nature in the city. Located between Chanhassen and Excelsior, MN, Camp Tanadoona is the perfect place for youth to experience summer camping as it was meant to be. Forest, open spaces, wetlands, and the shores of Lake Minnewashta are a never-ending invitation for exploration, creation, and appreciation for our campers.

Tanadoona is a place where youth have a chance to be themselves. A place where they can learn skills that build confidence, grow into stronger individuals, and have fun. Enjoyment, quality programs, and caring adult support are the key elements that make Camp Tanadoona a place where youth can grow and learn. All of our campers receive hands-on instruction in small group activities.

Camp Olson YMCA is a residential and day camp located on the edge of the Chippewa National Forest in north-central Minnesota. Camp's 1250 acres of north woods property touches the shoreline of five lakes, the largest of which is two square miles in size.

We have an extensive sailing, riding, tripping and traditional crafts program.

Camp Thunderbird for Boys and Camp Thunderbird for Girls are Separate residential, multi-specialty, ACA accredited summer camps that offer a wide variety of water and land activities. Thunderbird is also known for its extensive tripping program. Camp Season begins June and ends August. Sessions are 4 or 8 weeks in length.

Activities include: Blacksmithing, Wakeboarding, Water-Skiing, Canoeing, Sailing, Boardsailing, Swimming, Kayaking, Rock climbing, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Arts and Crafts, Pottery, Archery, Riflery, Horseback.

Camp Kooch-i-ching is dedicated to providing young men with a fun, educational and challenging summer camp experience in a wilderness setting to help develop greater awareness, self-confidence and outstanding leadership qualities. Camp Kooch-i-ching, in its 84th consecutive summer, offers Canadian wilderness canoe trips and mountain backpacking trips in the Western U.S. along with a full in-camp program. 10-day, 4-week and 8-week sessions are offered to young men, ages 8-18.

In-camp morning instruction includes riflery, athletics, archery, sailing, fishing, Native American crafts and dancing and woodcraft.

Courage Camps offer safe, accessible, natural environments where children and adults with physical disabilities, sensory and language impairments, and other disabilities or illnesses discover abilities they never knew they had or they thought they had lost.

Campers make new friends, and are often introduced to sports or hobbies they develop further at home or at school. Their self confidence grows and their attitudes improve. Speech/language services are available at Camp Courage for campers on the active caseload of a school Speech/Language Pathologist.

Limited enrollment, unlimited possibilities. A wide variety of activities challenge and delight boys of all ages. Adventure in the Chippewa National Forest develop skills and create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Traditional in-camp program and Canadian canoe expeditions. Boys of all ages choose from a wide-range of in-camp activities and look forward to canoeing, sailing and fishing trips within the Chippewa National Forest or the northern reaches of Canada. Two-, four- and eight-week sessions available. Ages 8 to 17.

Nestled among the mountainous bluffs of the Mississippi Valley, YMCA Camp Pepin enjoys 200 feet of beachfront along beautiful Lake Pepin on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border. We are ACA accredited, and offer traditional camp activities (swimming, field sports, crafts, boating, target sports), Specialty Camps (Theater, Sailing, and Horse Camps), Leadership Camps (LIT and CIT Camps), and Trail Camps (Climbing, Canoeing, Biking, and Hiking Camps).

Founded in 1909, Camp Lincoln for Boys and Camp Lake Hubert for Girls are separate non-sectarian, single gender, traditional camps focusing on skill and character development for boys and girls age 8-17. As some of America's premiere camps, Camp Lincoln and Camp Lake Hubert are nestled on the pristine shores of spring-fed Lake Hubert, where over 30 land and water activities take place on our 700 wooded acres of Pine and Birch forests. Only 2.5 hours north of Minneapolis, Lake Hubert is located in the heart of Minnesota's "Great Northwoods" and is 1 mile long and 1.5 miles wide with a soft, sandy bottom. Campers and staff stay in modern cabins complete with bathrooms. In our commitment to excellence, we maintain a 3:1 camper/staff ratio. Picture yourself having a great summer camp experience at Camp Esquagama on Lake Esquagama. You'll be having fun with other campers your same age, sleeping in modern log cabins or in the main lodge, eating in the main lodge, and enjoying the sandy beaches and pine forest our camp has to offer.

We have many activities for summer fun and also a great staff. Each of the activity areas has staff who will help you learn or improve your skills in that area.

A Girl Scout camp located in Northwestern Minnesota. Our mission is to offer a variety of program options that are safe, fun, and that provide an opportunity for each girl to develop self-confidence, and that help them to respectfully live and work in cooperation with others.

Traditional camp activities such as swimming, canoeing, archery, campfires, songs, crafts, High Challenge Course and Climbing Wall. Camp Season runs from June to August. Three - six day sessions available. Ages 6-17. Girl Scouts and Non-Girl Scouts welcome!

Camp Voyageur is a small private camp for boys 10-17 located next to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. We lead wilderness trips canoeing, hiking and sea kayaking; 3-16 days. 1 counselor to 4 campers.

In camp activities include waterskiing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, sailing, arts/crafts, and much more.

Outward Bound Wilderness, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based wilderness courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).

Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Since 1962, over 500,000 students have returned from an Outward Bound experience with a deeper knowledge of themselves and the world in which we live.
