For more than 55 years, Camp Olson has been providing unforgettable and life changing experiences for youth and young leaders through quality camp programs. YMCA Day Camp Manitou
Coed Day Camp
YMCA Camp Manitou is a wonderful place for your child to experience fun, outdoor adventures this summer! YMCA Camp Manitou provides a week packed full of exciting and structured activities for the new and returning camper. Located on 1,200 beautiful acres outside Monticello, including Lake Bertram and Long Lake, campers age 4 through 14 participate in small, age-appropriate groups as they build self-esteem, learn new skills, and practice the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. And each year, every child leaves with special beads to mark their accomplishments and treasured experiences.
Special leadership training sessions are also available for ages 11-14. Traditional camp activities include canoeing, nature studies, arts and crafts, songs, storytelling, recreational swimming, games and much more!
Special programs include MINI BIKE CAMP where campers learn from trained instructors, advance to the track, and explore the bike trails on Manitou's 1,200 acres! Camp Voyageur
Residential boys' summer camp
Camp Voyageur, owned and operated by the Erdmann family since 1951, is a small private camp for boys 9-17 located next to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northeastern Minnesota.
We have a traditional in camp program but our specialty is canoeing trips. We lead 3-16 wilderness trips canoeing in the Boundary Waters and Canada's Quetico Provincial Park. In addition we also lead hiking along the North Shore of Lake Superior and on Isle Royale National Park and we lead sea kayaking in the Apostle Island National Lake Shore. Our in camp program of land and water sports includes: waterskiing, soccer, basketball, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, archery, rock climbing, sailing, arts/crafts, and much more. 1 well trained counselor to 4 campers.

Residential coed summer camp
Camp Buckskin is an overnight summer camp that specializes in serving boys and girls ages 6-18 who have academic and/or social skill needs. More specifically, the majority of our campers have AD/HD, Learning Disabilities, Aspergers or similar needs. They have a world of potential in many areas that has yet to be developed. They simply need extra support to convert their potentials into abilities.
Camp Buckskin provides a mix of traditional camp and some academic activities each day, in addition to a Personal Growth program which addresses social skill development. In this program we work to help our campers learn to build and maintain positive peer relations, to become more self reliant, and to develop better problem solving/coping skills.
As a result of this growth, our campers return home with greater self confidence and a strengthened self concept.

Zoo Camp
Coed Day CampZoo Camp is a coed day camp located at the Minnesota Zoo in the suburb of Apple Valley, Minnesota. At Zoo Camp, campers have fun while learning about animals in a safe environment led by highly trained staff.
Campers who attend camp at the Minnesota Zoo do things such as visit a rainforest, touch a snake, create a sandpaper shark and even dig for dinosaur bones. Our naturalist educators are specially trained to guide two year-olds through 12th grade students in exploring the natural world and the Minnesota Zoo through games, activities, creature crafts, animal demonstrations, and behind-the-scenes tours.

The one and two-week and one month sessions are divided into units for different age levels. CAMP CHERITH is a Christian camp near Detroit Lakes, MN with separate weeks for boys and girls, ages 6 to 18. While enjoying traditional camp activities campers are taught how to make Christ real in every phase of their lives while focusing on fun, building skills, friendships, and nature.
All campers experience the thrill of success through skill-building classes. Each camper chooses two activities for the week, which they participate in daily. We are the Northwestern District camp of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and would love to have you here to join us for one of our many camps. YMCA Camp Warren is located in the northern woods near Eveleth, Minnesota on Half Moon Lake. Warren is a perfect setting for boys or girls to experience traditional camp activities in a one, two three, four, five or six week session in a single-gender environment.
Camp activities include sailing, horseback riding, & archery, canoeing, overnights, fishing, drama, swimming, photography, arts and crafts and field games. Emphasis programs are for campers who want a more intense experience in a specific program area. They include horse camp, sailing camp, a Short Border canoe trip and a Long Border canoe trip.

Located two miles south of Hudson and 30 miles east of the Twin Cities, campers age 4-15 participate in small, age-appropriate groups as they build self-esteem, learn new skills, and practice the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. And each year, every child leaves with special beads to mark their accomplishments and treasured experiences.
Activities include swimming, boating, archery, games, environmental education, cookouts and more. DayCroix at YMCA Camp St. Croix offers specialty programs such as horseback riding, creative arts, science and nature, outdoor sports, and teen adventures.
Other DayCroix highlights include Pioneer Village, where campers experience a trip back in time as they explore crafts such as leatherwork, basket weaving, Voyager games, and make candles, butter, and ice cream! In the Oasis Waterplay Area, campers have loads of fun building sandcastles and staying cool splashing in the water. YMCA Camp Widjiwagan
Wilderness Adventure Program
Widjiwagan was founded in 1929 as a wilderness adventure program in the wilds of northeastern Minnesota. Throughout this colorful 79-year history, young people have been inspired by the Widji wilderness experience.
The real magic of a Widji experience happens in the wilderness. For canoe groups, this might mean paddling out of camp or getting dropped off on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness or Quetico Provincial Park. For backpack groups, this means driving west to the mountains or east to the Isle Royale or the Superior Hiking Trail. Once groups go 'on trail' they spend the rest of their session in the wilderness. They move most days and camp in different places most nights. Free from distractions of civilization, groups get to know each other and come together to accomplish their goals. On trail is where friendships form and memories are made!

Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Camp Thunderbird
Residential summer camp with separate sessions for boys and girlsCamp Thunderbird for Boys and Camp Thunderbird for Girls are Separate residential, multi-specialty, ACA accredited summer camps that offer a wide variety of water and land activities. Thunderbird is also known for its extensive tripping program. Camp Season begins June and ends August. Sessions are 4 or 8 weeks in length.
Activities include: Blacksmithing, Wakeboarding, Water-Skiing, Canoeing, Sailing, Boardsailing, Swimming, Kayaking, Rock climbing, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Arts and Crafts, Pottery, Archery, Riflery, Horseback.
YMCA Day Camp Streefland
Coed Day Camp
Your child can have an amazing outdoor experience this summer and sleep at home, too. Outdoor fun and adventures abound at YMCA Camp Streefland. Campers' weeks are chock full of exciting, structured activities for both new and returning campers.
Located at beautiful Lake Kingsley in Lakeville, campers, ages 4 through 15 engage in small-group structured activities with other campers in their age group. They learn new skills and build self-esteem while being guided by the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Campers fill their days with traditional camp activities such as swimming, lakefront canoeing, kayaking and row boating, archery, games, environmental learning, cookouts, arts and crafts, hiking and more.
There are many specialty programs for every camper. Camp Streefland's Adventure Island, where older campers try their skill at Target Sports, is a bull's-eye hit! Campers can also choose horse camp, theater camp, arts & crafts camp, climbing camp, junior angler fishing camp, teen quest, leaders-in-training, outdoor living skills, and extreme adventure camp.
Camp Chippewa for Boys
Residential boys' summer camp
Limited enrollment, unlimited possibilities. A wide variety of activities challenge and delight boys of all ages. Adventure in the Chippewa National Forest develop skills and create memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Traditional in-camp program and Canadian canoe expeditions. Fun and adventure since 1935.
Boys of all ages choose from a wide-range of in-camp activities and look forward to canoeing, sailing and fishing trips within the Chippewa National Forest or the northern reaches of Canada. Two-, four- and eight-week sessions available. Ages 8 to 17.
YMCA Camp Icaghowan
Coed Overnight Camp
Each day at YMCA Camp Icaghowan is packed with fun, friends, and learning new skills. Enjoy any of the many activities offered like archery, climbing, canoeing, swimming or fishing!
Your week will include all-camp games, campfires every night, and activities with your cabin. Each camper will also experience an exciting camping overnight.
Campers end their day in the cabin sharing stories of the day's adventures and planning for tomorrow.

Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
For more than 55 years, Camp Olson has been providing unforgettable and life changing experiences for youth and young leaders through quality camp programs. The Spirit of the Northwoods is the legacy of superior staff and facilities including over 1250 acres of pristine forests lakes and fields. Traditional Summer Camp is available as well as specialty programs in Sailing, Horseback Riding, and Nature Study.
A range of Leadership Development Programs are available to teens both on site and in outbound trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Isle Royale National Park. Our skilled leaders nurture teen-aged campers through intense curricula that challenge the mind, body, and spirit of all participants.
