Outward Bound
Wilderness adventure programs worldwide
Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).
Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

ZooCamp
Coed Day CampIn collaboration with Zoo New England, Camp Fire USA offers day camp opportunities at Franklin Park Zoo, Boston and Stoneham Zoos. ZooCamp is for children ages 5-13 offering creative and fun activities including science exploration, nature & wildlife, meeting the zookeeper, animal enrichment, games, friendship building and so much more.
Our experienced and dedicated camp staff along with Zoo personnel creates a unique and close-up encounter with animals unlike any other camp in the Boston area. Camp offers one week or two week sessions, 9am-3pm with extended morning and afternoon care available.
Netop Summer Camp
Residential Boys' Summer Camp
Netop (nee-tope, meaning "friend") is a traditional overnight camp for boys (8-15) located in Casco Maine. On 100 acres and a magnificent private lake, Netop offers a wide range of sports, water activities, wilderness trips and arts, such as rock band, drama, woodcrafts and film-making. Camp Walt Whitman, a traditional summer camp for boys and girls, is situated on 300 acres along crystal-clear Lake Armington in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session

Lots more than a summer camp... Located in the foothills of New Hampshire's White Mountains, the Cardigan Mountain School Summer Session combines academic review and enrichment with all of the recreation and fun of a traditional summer camp for boys and birls in grades 3-9. In the mornings, students can hone their skills in math or reading; work on study skills, note taking or test prep; or challenge themselves through literature, rocketry, robotics or foreign language courses.
Classes in music, pottery, drama, and photography highlight the arts program, and Cougar Clinics give students the opportunity to practice a favorite sport or learn a new one. With so many choices, each student can design his or her ideal summer experience. In the afternoons and weekends, the 500 acre lakeside campus provides an ideal setting for sports, swimming, sailing, and simply enjoying summer in New Hampshire. Coed Day CampRiverside Theatre Works is a 30-year old family theatre in the southern portion of Boston called Hyde Park. Riverside offers Summer Programs for children ages 4-19. Our programs are in Creative Dramatics, Broadway Boot Camp for kids and teens (3-4 week programs) and Mini-Broadway Boot Camps (1-week programs). Located on over 80 acres of woodlands on a private body of water, Camp Nashoba is solely operated as a children's summer camp. Children ages 4 to 15 are offered a balanced program of land and water activities and have the option to choose electives. A 10% sibling discount, extended day, and transportation are offered. Sangamon is a really different kind of boys' camp, not based on sports or competition. Sangamon's entire program is elective every day. Each camper creates a personal schedule each day from more than 15 instructional activities and trips. We are a boy's camp with our sister camp right next door, offering the best of single gender and co-ed camping.
Sangamon offers fifteen different instructional activities, plus trips. Individual and team sports and five studio crafts program. We offer a good fit to a wide variety of boys. Four sessions: two 3-week sessions, two 2-week sessions, ages 9-15.

Dedham Health & Athletic Complex is committed to teaching the importance of exercise, physical fitness, health and well being as an essential part of life. While at The Ultimate Day Camp, children and parents enjoy our non-competitive approach to fitness. Wilderness adventure programThompson Island Outward Bound offers adventure-based courses for 12- through 17-year old boys and girls encouraging leadership skills, teamwork, and compassion. Outdoor activities include sailing, kayaking, and climbing. Students will explore the islands and coastline of the Boston Harbor Islands National Park Area and Massachusetts Bay for 10 to 14 days.
Students live outdoors camping and cooking, learn navigation and sailing/kayaking skills, challenge themselves climbing the 62' Alpine Tower on Thompson Island, investigate marine ecology, learn environmental stewardship, work with National Park Rangers and participate in a service project. Camp Timanous
Boys' Residential Camp
After a summer at Timanous, boys return home more independent, self-confident, and self-sufficient. With 125 campers, we know each boy by name and can respond to their personal needs. Located on a beautiful lake in Southern Maine with one mile of shorefront. 90% of our staff were former Timanous campers, averaging over 10 years at camp. 26 states and 11 countries were represented in 2011. Campers choose from a variety of activities including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing,soccer, riflery, tennis, archery, lacrosse, wood working, pottery, handicrafts. We also have a strong camping trip program. We have a very high return rate of both campers and counselors.

Coed Day CampLocated on Lake Winnipesaukee in Gilford, New Hampshire, LWSA runs a summer Sailing School for children ages 8-16. We also have an introductory 1/2 day program for 6 and 7 year olds as well as adult sailing lessons. Gifted students ages 4-17 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at pretigious colleges and universities, SIG has an excellent well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each student. Students live and learn on campus for three weeks, leaving with the confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.

Road's End Farm is a small summer camp that appeals to girls who love being around horses, caring for them, and riding for enjoyment rather than competition. Being an integral part of a 360 acre farm with 45 saddle horses and 20 miles of bridle paths, the camp program provides campers with unlimited exposure to horses and rural life in a picturesque setting at the end of a quiet road. JCC Kaleidoscope campers entering grades K-8 explore performing and visual arts, science, swimming and sports at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center in Newton, MA. CITs in grades 9-11 gain leadership skills assisting staff and planning activities.
Facilities include professional studios; theater; playing fields; indoor and outdoor pools; and fishing and boating in the nearby Charles River. Ours is a nurturing community infused with Jewish values and content.
