Echo Hill Camp on the Chesapeake strives to provide an atmosphere conducive to the creative expression of self in which a child, for his own personal fulfillment, seeks to acquire new physical and artistic skills. We are located just 90 miles west of Washington DC, in the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains of West Virginia where the base of North Mountain and the shores of the Cacapon River meet to surround our 200-acre campsite. Our co-ed camp offers several choices of session lengths with very diverse, individual, free choice programming for campers with every kind of interest.

We have over 50 activities at camp. Some activity choices include: tennis, skate park, ropes course, go cart track, climbing wall, equestrian, Baseball, an indoor gymnasium, theatre, swimming, water-skiing, sailing, canoeing, rafting, and more.

Outward Bound Wilderness, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based wilderness courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).

Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Since 1962, over 500,000 students have returned from an Outward Bound experience with a deeper knowledge of themselves and the world in which we live.

A non-denominational Christian camp located on the Chesapeake Bay. Both overnight and day camp programs are offered for ages 4-15. A "Leader in Training" program is available for teens ages 14-18. All programs run in eight one week sessions, beginning in mid-June and running through mid-August. Refer to website for exact dates and costs.

Wabanna's summer programs provide a fun-filled, action-packed, and spiritually focused experience. Camy Airy, in Thrumont, MD has been in the business of making a difference in Jewish boys' lives for 84 summers. Airy is a residential camp located in the spectacular mountains of Western Maryland, about 1 hour from Baltimore and Washington.

Our experienced staff of college age counselors and adult educators offer a wide variety of activities including Swim, SCUBA, Athletics, Drama, Music Photography, Outdoor Living, Nature Study, Crafts, Video, Radio, Robotics, Mountain Boarding, Skate Boarding, Outdoor Adventure Trips, Mountain Biking, DJ'ing, Newspaper, Shabbat Services.

Celebrating 55 years of summer fun, Camp St. Charles is a summer camp that is dedicated to providing exciting, challenging activities to foster personal growth and increase self esteem. Camp provides a summer adventure to children ages 7-13.

The activities include sports, archery, riflery, arts & crafts, power boating, canoeing and many more!

Resident Camp Conowingo is 600 acres of forest and fields adjacent to the Susquehanna River in Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland. The property is composed of nine parcels acquired by Girl Scouts of Central Maryland between 1955 and 1973, including Bell Manor, a historic Victorian home from the 1860's which is currently being renovated to return it to its original 1867 charm. Activities at Camp Conowingo include Tennis, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Ropes Course, Hiking, Fishing, Nature and Ecology. You do not have to be a Girl Scout to attend.

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland also offers day camp opportunities from mid-June through mid-August of each year.

Located on the Chesapeake Bay midway between Baltimore and Philadelphia, NorthBay Summer Camp prepares boys and girls ages 7-16 for their future by teaching them to apply strategies from the outdoors to challenges in their lives.

By focusing on specific skills such as Sailing, Rockclimbing, Mountain biking, Filmmaking, Mountaineering, Pioneering, Arts & Crafts, Swimming, Paddling, and Wilderness Living throughout a session, campers gain confidence, knowledge, and problem solving skills while having fun and developing meaningful relationships with peers and staff. NorthBay campers understand the impact that their attitudes and actions have on their lives, the environment, and the people around them.

Camp Pecometh is the place to come for fun and fellowship. Our summer camp provides kids from K-12 with a traditional Christian summer program, with six-day Overnight sessions, five-day Day camp sessions, and two sessions of Mini-Camp for he younger campers. Water, Fun and Sun!
