Camp Voyageur is a small private camp for boys 10-17 located next to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. We lead wilderness trips canoeing, hiking and sea kayaking; 3-16 days. 1 counselor to 4 campers.

Phantom Lake YMCA Camp

Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, established in 1896, provides youth ages 7-17 traditional summer camp experiences in a Resident and Day Camp setting. Parents call it "A genuine 'camp' experience." Nestled on 72 acres of rolling hills on Phantom Lake in southeastern Wisconsin, campers have many activities to choose from in a safe and nurturing environment and are encouraged to grow physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. Some of the activities include sailing, swimming, crafts, paddle sports, small trips, theater, dance, disc golf, nature, target sports and the zip line!
Other specialty programs are golf, soccer and skateboard specialty. Children will live in a cabin with canvas and screen sides with children from the same age group, with a counselor and an assistant counselor. Lake of the Woods for Girls is ideally situated in southwest Michigan's water wonderland and offers 2, 4 or 8 week sessions. Campers design their own program from over 40 land and water activities. Campers live in spacious, airy, modern cabins with electricity, hot water, and bathrooms. Discovery is a small nurturing camp where each child receives individualized attention. One of our goals is to create an environment in which campers have fun while growing as individuals and as members of a group through participation in a variety of activities. Campers are placed in small age appropriate groups where they receive individualized attention while participating in: swimming (twice daily), arts & crafts, biking, climbing wall, cooking, dance, drama, gymnastics, tennis, a variety of team sports, lead up games, ropes course events, music and nature. Campers enjoy special events one or more times each week. Older campers have weekly field trips and frequent bike hikes.

Camp Buckskin is an overnight summer camp that specializes in serving boys and girls ages 6-18 who have academic and/or social skill needs. More specifically, the majority of our campers have AD/HD, Learning Disabilities, Aspergers or similar needs. They have a world of potential in many areas that has yet to be developed. They simply need extra support to convert their potentials into abilities.
Camp Buckskin provides a mix of traditional camp and some academic activities each day, in addition to a Personal Growth program which addresses social skill development. In this program we work to help our campers learn to build and maintain positive peer relations, to become more self reliant, and to develop better problem solving/coping skills.
As a result of this growth, our campers return home with greater self confidence and a strengthened self concept.
Camp Kodiak

Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.
We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.
In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.
