Phantom Lake YMCA Camp

Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, established in 1896, provides youth ages 7-17 traditional summer camp experiences in a Resident and Day Camp setting. Parents call it "A genuine 'camp' experience." Nestled on 72 acres of rolling hills on Phantom Lake in southeastern Wisconsin, campers have many activities to choose from in a safe and nurturing environment and are encouraged to grow physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. Some of the activities include sailing, swimming, crafts, paddle sports, small trips, theater, dance, disc golf, nature, target sports and the zip line!

Other specialty programs are golf, soccer and skateboard specialty. Camp Kodiak is an integrated, non-competitive camp serving children and teens with and without LD, ADHD, NLD and Asperger Syndrome. Our campers range in age from 6 to 18. Our program includes a SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAM, an ACADEMIC PROGRAM and over 50 sports & activities. We build confidence and self-esteem by structuring all activities, athletic, artistic and social, to ensure success. Our staff includes teachers, psychologists, social workers, child & youth workers and recreation specialists. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 2-to-1 and our cabin groups are small.

We are located 2 1/2 hours northeast of Toronto in the beautiful Parry Sound vacation area. Our facilities include modern, lakefront, log cabins with full bathrooms and showers, 425 acres of land and 2 1/2 miles of lakefront. Our extensive indoor and outdoor facilities mean that the fun never stops, rain or shine. We are accredited members of the Ontario Camps Association and the Canadian Camping Association.

In 2007, at parents' request, we started a program for campers age 19 and over.
We call it Club Kodiak. In addition to our recreational, athletic and social programs, we offer our Club Kodiak guests a life skills program. Please see our web site for details.

Live your Rock Star dreams this summer! Whether you're a beginner or a more advanced player, DayJams offers you the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. You'll work with professional musicians and teachers in a friendly and creative environment.

DayJams was created for kids between the ages of 8-15 by the National Guitar Workshop (NGW), the nation's largest summer music program. Since 1984, NGW has been teaching musicians at overnight programs across North America. At DayJams, younger students obtain a similar experience at day camps in their own communities. Our professional staff of music teachers, art teachers, and counselors is committed to providing a safe, fun-filled week of music and creativity.
