International Destinations: British Columbia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Spain, Norway, Tanzania, Namibia, India, Bhutan, China;
U.S. Destinations: Colorado, Utah, Hawaii, Alaska, Louisiana, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Wyoming, South Dakota, New Mexico

Taking The Road Less Traveled is the adrenaline rush you get from running a class III rapid in a canyon so deep you can't see the tops of the rock walls; the rainbow scintillating through the spray of a waterfall we just happened to stumble upon; the shadow a mountain casts on the world below at sunrise... It is shouting out your order for a kilo of tomatoes in a noisy street market in Sevilla or being invited into a monk's quarters for tea in a small Northern Indian monastery. It's paddling a boat filled with sand and small rocks to make cement on a remote beach in the San Blas Islands... The Road Less Traveled is removing ourselves from the familiar spaces we know too well, and venturing into places that inspire us not only to explore our surroundings, but also ourselves.

Service Learning Programs offer 72-80 hours of service work, language immersiona and adventure activities. Adventure Expeditions offer rock-climbing, backpacking, ice and snow mountaineering, whitewater rafting, kayaking, desert hiking and trekking. Global Perspectives programs offer 36-75 hours of formal language instruction, language immersion, adventure and cultural activities. Program length varies from 2-6 weeks.

-Camp Sweyolakan
Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp Sessions Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

For more than 85 years, young people from the Inland Northwest have been enjoying wonderful outdoor experiences at Camp Sweyolakan. As one of the oldest resident camps in the country, Sweyolakan has been a summer haven for generations of young people.

Because the camp is remote and accessible only by boat, there really is a sense of being apart from everyday life. Young people can relax and enjoy learning about themselves and the world around them in the beautiful setting of lake, mountains and forests.
