Residential girls' summer camp Denver, Felton, Halifax and Shickshinney, Pennsylvania

Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania was formed on May 1, 2007 through the merger of Hemlock, Penn Laurel, Penn's Woods and Scranton-Pocono Girl Scout councils. This merger brings together decades of rich Girl Scout history including stewardship of more than 2800 acres of camp land. Our camp program provides girls the opportunity to learn about themselves and others, build confidence, and develop interpersonal, leadership and outdoor skills while making new friends. Camp experience allows girls to participate in high tech, creative, and adventure programs.

Resident camp is an overnight camping experience with other girls under the careful supervision of trained camp counselors. Campers sleep on cots or bunk beds with mattresses in a large tent, cabin, lodge or houseboat. Resident camp programs include opportunities for girls to participate in general camping activities, including, but not limited to, swimming, boating (at available camps), arts, crafts, nature activities, cookouts, hiking and games. Campers also enjoy traditional Girl Scout activities like singing and eating s'mores around a campfire.

The Susquehannock Camps
Residential summer camp with separate sessions for boys and girls Brackney, Pennsylvania

The Susquehannock Camps encourage the moral, social, and physical development of campers. Operating as brother and sister camps, Susquehannock for Boys and Susquehannock for Girls run independent programs across the 100-acre campus. Each camp has its own individual traditions that its campers hold dear. Some co-ed activities are organized for older campers.

Camp Oneka
Residential girls' summer camp Tafton, Pennsylvania

Camp Oneka is an ACA (American Camp Association) accredited camp for girls located on the shore of beautiful Fairview Lake in the Pocono region of northeast Pennsylvania. We provide a rich traditional program which includes a wide variety of activities from field sports, such as hockey, softball, and soccer to drama, arts and crafts, ceramics, photography, tennis, horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, and tower climbing, to name a few.

Our aquatic program is particularly outstanding, thanks to our location on Fairview Lake, and includes canoeing, sailing, rowing, water skiing, tubing, lifeguard training, and more. Oneka was used by the National Red Cross as a site for production of their Lifeguard Training films. With a camper-to-counselor ratio of three-to-one, Oneka has succeeded in creating a warm family atmosphere where each camper's well-being is everyone's concern. This is particularly reassuring to young and first-time campers.

Seven Hills Resident Camp, located in scenic Holland, NY has a 75+ year tradition of providing a fun, safe, all-girl environment where campers can enjoy traditional camp activities, learn team-building and explore the world of horses through riding and tacking. Girls are encouraged to learn about environmental conservation as they hone their outdoor skills through hiking, identifying native plants, boating and cooking delicious meals over a campfire. Camp Laughing Waters is located in Gilbertsville, Montgomery County, PA. Camp is open to all girls ages 6-18, including non-Girl Scouts. Girls' Camps with Residential & Day Camp Sessions Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland

Resident Camp Conowingo is 600 acres of forest and fields adjacent to the Susquehanna River in Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland. The property is composed of nine parcels acquired by Girl Scouts of Central Maryland between 1955 and 1973, including Bell Manor, a historic Victorian home from the 1860's which is currently being renovated to return it to its original 1867 charm. Activities at Camp Conowingo include Tennis, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Ropes Course, Hiking, Fishing, Nature and Ecology. You do not have to be a Girl Scout to attend.

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland also offers day camp opportunities from mid-June through mid-August of each year.
