Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. We have both day and resident camps where girls spend time learning leadership skills, building self-esteem, hiking, swimming, and learning about the environment.

Campers will also enjoy arts and crafts, songs, horseback riding, sailing, canoeing, rock climbing, trips, cooking, archery, scuba diving and of course making new friends. Resident Camp Conowingo is 600 acres of forest and fields adjacent to the Susquehanna River in Conowingo, Cecil County, Maryland. The property is composed of nine parcels acquired by Girl Scouts of Central Maryland between 1955 and 1973, including Bell Manor, a historic Victorian home from the 1860's which is currently being renovated to return it to its original 1867 charm. Activities at Camp Conowingo include Tennis, Swimming, Horseback Riding, Ropes Course, Hiking, Fishing, Nature and Ecology. You do not have to be a Girl Scout to attend.

Girl Scouts of Central Maryland also offers day camp opportunities from mid-June through mid-August of each year.

Since 1916 there has been something very special happening out on a peninsula at Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks. All summer the forests and lakes reverberate with the sounds of laughter, cheering and fun, It's all part of camp life at Raquette Lake Camps. For generations, children from 6-16 years old spend seven adventure filled weeks they will remember all their lives.

At Raquette Lake Camps, children are given a very special opportunity to explore new things, live with their friends, make decisions independent of their parents, and truly discover themselves.

Camp Louise, in Cascade, MD has been in the business of making a difference in Jewish girls' lives for 86 summers. Louise is a residential camp located in the spectacular mountains of Western Maryland, about 1 hour from Baltimore and Washington.

Our experienced staff of college age counselors and adult educators offer a wide variety of activities including Swim, SCUBA, Athletics, Drama, Dance, Music, Photography, Outdoor Living, Crafts, Ceramics, Video, Creative Writing, Cookery, Radio, Outdoor Adventure Trips, Giant Water Slide, Gymnastics, Shabbat Services.

Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania was formed on May 1, 2007 through the merger of Hemlock, Penn Laurel, Penn's Woods and Scranton-Pocono Girl Scout councils. This merger brings together decades of rich Girl Scout history including stewardship of more than 2800 acres of camp land. Our camp program provides girls the opportunity to learn about themselves and others, build confidence, and develop interpersonal, leadership and outdoor skills while making new friends. Camp experience allows girls to participate in high tech, creative, and adventure programs.

Resident camp is an overnight camping experience with other girls under the careful supervision of trained camp counselors. Campers sleep on cots or bunk beds with mattresses in a large tent, cabin, lodge or houseboat. Resident camp programs include opportunities for girls to participate in general camping activities, including, but not limited to, swimming, boating (at available camps), arts, crafts, nature activities, cookouts, hiking and games. Campers also enjoy traditional Girl Scout activities like singing and eating s'mores around a campfire.

The Susquehannock Camps encourage the moral, social, and physical development of campers. Operating as brother and sister camps, Susquehannock for Boys and Susquehannock for Girls run independent programs across the 100-acre campus. Each camp has its own individual traditions that its campers hold dear. Some co-ed activities are organized for older campers.

Camp Rim Rock for girls, founded in 1952, offers a non-competitive, fun and safe environment. In an atmosphere of friendship and acceptance, girls have the opportunity to take part in a number of challenging activities. Our program focuses in four areas: Horseback Riding (english lessons, trail rides, river rides and stable management), The Arts (dance, drama, a cappella choir, arts & crafts, drawing), Aquatics (swimming, canoeing, tubing), Land Sports (archery, volleyball, tennis, field games). Located on 600 pristine acres of West Virginia land.

Keystone Camp is a traditional all girls' summer residential camp in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. At Keystone, we encourage girls to learn life-long skills and values in a very fun and nurturing environment through inspiration and teaching.
