Situated on 120 privately owned acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia, Camp Tall Timbers offers 2,3,5 and 6 week sessions for boys and girls in grades 1st-10th from late June to mid-August. We offer programs that help to foster a camper's personal development in a broad range of activities.

Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp Sessions
Camp Piankatank is a Christian camp for boys and girls located on the beautiful Piankatank River, on the coast of Virginia. We offer overnight adventure camps where campers experience a variety of activities and also overnight specialty camps focusing on sailing, canoeing/kayaking, sports or horseback riding. Camps offered are for ages 7-17.
In all of our activities we teach Biblical principles and campers attend worship services twice daily.
Our camp offers a wonderful, spiritually uplifting week of camp for all. Our staff are highly trained and all are over the age of 18. Campers do not need to be baptist or a member of a church to attend, we have campers from all backgrounds attend.

FOR KIDS ONLY...keep reading! Everything you want from a summer camp is at Fairview Lake YMCA. When you sign up for our traditional sleepaway camp, you get to make your own schedule and choose the activities you like most! Our great activities include windsurfing/sailing, archery, arts & crafts, canoeing, rock climbing, dance, drama, in-line skating, kayaking, riflery, high and low-ropes courses, snorkeling, street hockey, swimming, voice, guitar, and of course tons of other sports options. We also have a horseback riding camp where you get your own horse for 1 or 2 weeks and other specialty camps for tennis, fine arts, sailing/windsurfing. Some of these specialty camps are only for boys and others are only for girls. If you are the adventurous type, you might want to sign up for one of our challenging adventure trips where you can do some real rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing safaris, fishing, biking or cave exploring.

A small camp for 125 boys emphasizing outdoor adventure in a non-competitive atmosphere. Campers choose their own schedule and then build skills to increase self confidence. High Rocks is a place for fun and learning, for challenge and adventure, and for living in an environment that is geared to a camper's needs and interests. Aided by a well-trained staff we seek to teach and to inspire lasting skills and values. We offer ongoing opportunities for success, a freedom from inhibiting competitive pressure, and daily instruction in activities which promote rapid development of skills, an increased self-esteem, and a sense of community.

Road's End Farm Horsemanship Camp
Residential girls' horsemanship camp (ages 8-16)
Road's End Farm is a small summer camp that appeals to girls who love being around horses, caring for them, and riding for enjoyment rather than competition. Being an integral part of a 360 acre farm with 45 saddle horses and 20 miles of bridle paths, the camp program provides campers with unlimited exposure to horses and rural life in a picturesque setting at the end of a quiet road. Lake swimming, river canoeing, and arts & crafts round out a camp program that also allows each camper free time to pursue personal interests.
Activities include: Noncompetitive English pleasure riding, swimming and canoeing amidst scenic surroundings.

Camp Highlander is a co-ed residential summer camp devoted to the growing and nurturing of boys and girls, ages 5-16 in a safe, fun-filled environment since 1957. Located in the mountains of North Carolina, our goal is to give children memories to fill their hearts, friendships to last a lifetime, and achievements to give them confidence while encouraging them to build character and strong values that will remain with them always. Our qualified and caring staff are able leaders, dedicated to providing each child with an exciting summer of adventure, while maintaining the highest standards of safety in all programs.
Our program consists of over 35 on-camp activities with five primary disciplines including sports, waterfront, arts, horseback riding and wilderness experience. Whitewater rafting trips to the Nantahala River, overnights in Pisgah Forest, water-skiing at Lake Keowee, swimming in the beautiful waterfalls and Looking Glass Falls . . . taking our campers into the magical Appalachian mountains is the highlight of their experience. Woodland Horse Center, located just 8 miles north of the DC beltway, offers summer camp for boys and girls age 5 through 15. Since 1935, a summer camp for Boys and Girls, ages 5-14 which offers a farm, wilderness and traditional program that nurtures the child while fostering a connection with the land and the simple joys of childhood. The strength of Gwynn Valley is its nurturing environment in a child centered world where each camper will learn and grow under the guideance of a mature and caring staff. We are committed to each individual becoming a vital part of the community. Simplicity, acceptance, a non-competitive program, and an appreciation of the natural world are our core values. We maintain a camper/staff ratio of 3:1. Our residential camp offers sessions of 1, 2, and 3 weeks in length. We grow 70% of our food on our farm and operate an 1890's Grist Mill as an extension of that program. We also have a small Day Camp for children K-4th grade.
