Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp SessionsThe Windham Tolland 4-H camp is located in Pomfret Center Connecticut. The Camp now runs a seven week comprehensive progam. Campers need not be 4-H members to apply. Our 270 acres contain woodlands, cabins, recreational areas, and scenic ponds. Our goal is to use cooperative activities to promote each camper's social and emotional development. Our caring, camper-centered staff is committed to providing safe, educational and fun experiences for every child.

Camp Ramaquois is tucked into the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains in Pomona, New York (Rockland County). Tall trees, rolling hills, babbling brooks, and mountain ranges surround our magnificent 44 acres and our 5 acre, crystalline spring-fed lake. We are only 30 minutes from the George Washington Bridge via the scenic Palisades Parkway and 15 minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Our main goal is to provide Ramaquois campers with a healthy, happy and rewarding summer experience. Each child's camp experience plays a very important role in his/her maturation. Our campers are encouraged to experience new skills, work with their peers and counselors, develop independence and assume responsibility.

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts
Coed Day Camp
Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com) is the arts day camp declared a "Best Of" camp by TimeOutNY/Kids, NY Metro Parents, and Long Island Press. The 2012 season begins on June 25th at the Center's 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island. Usdan is open to young people ages 6 to 18, and no audition is required - rather, admission is based on an expression of interest in the arts. Each summer, 1,600 students travel to the Center each day on air-conditioned buses that depart from neighborhoods throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Usdan was formed to provide the arts as a companion for life through great teaching and the camaraderie of fellow students whose common bond is their love of the arts. Usdan offers more than 40 programs in Music, Theater, Dance, Visual Arts, Nature, Chess, and Writing. Although Usdan's mission is for every child to establish a skill-based relationship with the arts, the unique stimulation of the Center has caused many to go on to professional careers. Alumni include singers Mariah Carey, Natalie Portman, and jazz singer Jane Monheit, as well as members of major music, theater, and dance ensembles throughout the world.

The ESF Tennis Camp, for boys & girls 6-15, is divided into full-day, morning, and afternoon programs and offers 1-10 week options. The full-day program runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the morning program runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the afternoon program runs from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Club O.T., our extended day program, gives you the opportunity to drop off your child(ren) early and pick-up your children late.

Gifted students ages 4-17 can participate in the renowned Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) program. Hosted at pretigious colleges and universities, SIG has an excellent well-rounded program for gifted students as it combines academics, social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Our programs provide students with academic challenges designed to fit their abilities and interests. It also provides them with the opportunity to engage with other students who have similar abilities and interests. Because of our small classes, low teacher-student ratio, and an assistant in every class, we are able to individualize the program for each student. Students live and learn on campus for three weeks, leaving with the confidence gained by an experience that is all their own.

Since its founding in 1913, the purpose of William Lawrence Camp has been to provide a safe, wholesome atmosphere where a boy can happily learn, share and grow with his fellow campers. Coed Day CampShoreline Golf Camp is a week long, half day summer golf camp for kids ages 10 - 15. We welcome beginner as well as experienced golfers. Weekly sessions run through July and the first two weeks of August. We teach golf fundamentals. golf rules and etiquette, with a primary focus on safety, fun and personal attention. Monday - Wednesday campers are at our practice facility, where they learn and practice basis skills. Thursday - Friday campers are on the golf course, where they apply their skills through supervised rounds of golf. Club rentals are available for campers without their own equipment.

After a summer at Timanous, boys return home more independent, self-confident, and self-sufficient. With 125 campers, we know each boy by name and can respond to their personal needs. Located on a beautiful lake in Southern Maine with one mile of shorefront. 90% of our staff were former Timanous campers, averaging over 10 years at camp. 26 states and 11 countries were represented in 2011. Campers choose from a variety of activities including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, water-skiing,soccer, riflery, tennis, archery, lacrosse, wood working, pottery, handicrafts. Campers will be placed in groups by age at the start of camp and will then be adjusted accordingly based on ability so that each every camper is with a group that will allow them to improve and get the most out of the week.

Sangamon is a really different kind of boys' camp, not based on sports or competition. Sangamon's entire program is elective every day. Each camper creates a personal schedule each day from more than 15 instructional activities and trips. We are a boy's camp with our sister camp right next door, offering the best of single gender and co-ed camping.
Sangamon offers fifteen different instructional activities, plus trips. Individual and team sports and five studio crafts program. We offer a good fit to a wide variety of boys. Four sessions: two 3-week sessions, two 2-week sessions, ages 9-15.

Winston Preparatory School Summer Enrichment
Coed Day Camp
Winston's Summer Enrichment Program is a four and a half week program which takes place from June 27th through July 27th 2012. From 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, we provide 4th-12th grade students with the unique opportunity to participate in an individualized program aimed to enhance academic skills. Students are grouped in small classes according to skill level and learning style. Additionally, each student receives daily one-on-one instruction targeting areas of greatest need. The program is designed to develop language, encoding/decoding, reading comprehension, writing, test preparation, organization, and time management skills.
As an alternate to the traditional program offerings, a College Writing Skills class and a Study Skills for College class are offered on alternating days for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors to further develop college level skills. In addition, we offer an after-summer school program Monday-Thursday from 1:30-2:15pm and 2:15 - 3:00pm. Students are given the option to enroll in one or more after-school activities, such as Arts & Crafts, Fitness, Scientific Discovery, Community Service, Computer Skills, Creative Writing, Digital Photography, and Social Pragmatics.

International Riding Camp

The INTERNATIONAL RIDING CAMP was established in 1978 for girls 7-17, who love horses and riding.. Located 90 miles Northwest of NYC, the riding camp provides an environment in which horse lovers can experience various riding disciplines including English riding and polo. We offer a well rounded equestrian camp program along with water skiing, tennis, arts and crafts and a heated pool.
Our campers ride three hours a day, six days a week. This intensive program allows our campers to experience success in graduated steps, promoting their self esteem and confidence. Since all of our campers love horses, their common interest allows them to make new friends right away. Our equestrian camp also offers riding during the winter at our stable at the Windsor Equestrian Center in Vero Beach, FL and at the El Venado Polo Ranch in Argentina. Coed Day CampFilmmakers Ink offers a University film school experience in a summer camp setting. This summer we are offering programs in Filmmaking, Screenwriting, Acting, Editing and Special FX for ages 8 - 17. The Filmmakers Ink programs offer courses that train young filmmakers at four different skill levels and are designed to grow with their expanding knowledge of filmmaking.
Guided by our staff of film professionals, our young filmmakers learn by doing as they develop the key creative and technical skills required for exceptional filmmaking.
Windham-Tolland 4-H Camp
Coed Camp with Residential & Day Camp SessionsThe Windham Tolland 4-H camp is located in Pomfret Center Connecticut. The Camp now runs a seven week comprehensive progam. Campers need not be 4-H members to apply. Our 270 acres contain woodlands, cabins, recreational areas, and scenic ponds. Our goal is to use cooperative activities to promote each camper's social and emotional development. Our caring, camper-centered staff is committed to providing safe, educational and fun experiences for every child.
The camp is run by the Windham County 4-H Foundation, a non profit organization. The camp is in compliance with ADA regulations for camps.
