The U.S. Army Cadet Corps' Military Adventure Camp is - by far - the most realistic and challenging military training program available to a teenager who is interested in our country's Armed Forces. Basic Cadet Training (BCT). This two-week adventure is often known as "Boot Camp." Basic Cadet Training is physically and mentally demanding, with heavy emphasis on personal accountability and teamwork. Each Cadet Recruit is assigned to a platoon of 18-25 Recruits lead by a Cadet Troop Handler and trained by a qualified Drill Sergeant. Basic Leader Course (BLC) An intense three-week program for graduates of Recruit Training or CTC. BLC provides advanced orientation in basic leadership, troop leading procedures, risk assessment, land navigation and field training, marksmanship, self-defense and team-building activities.

The Army Cadet Martial Arts Program (TACMAP) A one-week advanced martial arts training program based on rigid military standards, plus high-adventure recreational activities. TACMAP utilizes MCJKKD as its main training format, which includes a combination of Self Defense, Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Boxing and Wrestling. Ultimate Military Adventure (UMA) Six weeks of basic training, advanced training, practical leadership and career exploration experience, as well as a one-week recreational program focusing on military martial arts.

Outward Bound, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+). No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Nestled among the steep ridges of Brown County, Waycross offers young people a well-supervised, positive, non-competitive, Christian environment where they can laugh and grow through a variety of activities. Waycross provides a well-rounded camp program designed to enhance the growth of person under the guidance of trained and caring staff. We strive to create a community of nurturing love and fun where campers can feel safe and develop emotionally and spiritually. Campers live in cabin groups consisting of 8 campers and two adult staff members. The staff team is rounded out with talented program leaders, a Chaplain, nurse and an experienced Camp Director.

Summer Camp at White Pines Ranch is available to everyone between the ages of 8 and 15. Daytime activities include horseback riding, swimming, archery, arts n' crafts, capture the flag, games, sports and much, much more! Campers are also involved in the care of our animals. You can help the ranch-hands feed, groom and saddle the horses. Our evening program includes horseback riding, Bingo, night hikes, making s'mores over the campfire, sing-a-longs and THE BIG DANCE on Friday night.

Ramey Equestrian Schools is dedicated to providing excellent horsemanship and equestrian skills in a safe and fun environment. Campers learn to care for a special horse, grooming, saddling, and leading him to the arena for lessons, or preparing for the trail. Daily lesson sessions include both English and Western riding skills. Advanced campers are in a special program for eventing: dressage, jumping, and cross-country.

At Ramey Tennis Schools for adults, you won’t find fancy hotels, flashy pros or "quick fixes" that you might encounter on a typical "tennis vacation". Ramey Tennis School is no vacation. What you will find are certified instructors who are determined to help you refine your game the Ramey way: biomechanical video evaluation, bone-grinding drills, and lots of blood sweat and tears. Ranked by Tennis Magazine as one of the top 25 tennis camps in the U.S. One and two week youth tennis camps are held at the begining and end of the sumer. Youth Opportunities Summer Camps give students the chance to explore many different areas of study. Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, established in 1896, provides youth ages 7-17 traditional summer camp experiences in a Resident and Day Camp setting. Parents call it "A genuine 'camp' experience." Nestled on 72 acres of rolling hills on Phantom Lake in southeastern Wisconsin, campers have many activities to choose from in a safe and nurturing environment and are encouraged to grow physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. Some of the activities include sailing, swimming, crafts, paddle sports, small trips, theater, dance, disc golf, nature, target sports and the zip line!

Other specialty programs are a robotics, golf soccer and skateboard specialty. Children will live in a platform tent with canvas and screen sides with children from the same age group, with a counselor and an assistant counselor. The YMCA Camp Willson, located in Bellefontaine, OH, was established in 1918, and is owned and operated by the YMCA of Central Ohio. Our 455 acre year-round facility is accredited by the American Camping Association and operates as a summer youth camp for boys and girls ages 7 - 17, a full-service outdoor education program for schools, and a weekend conference center for church, youth, scouting retreats and many other groups.

Red Oak, Red Barn and Chincapin Camps excel locally with their ability to offer a wide variety of exciting age-appropriate opportunities for boys and girls. All campers develop self-reliance and leadership skills, while investigating nature, and building new friendships. The camp boasts a newly completed climbing tower and zip line for developing advanced climbing skills, in addition to their challenging ropes course.

Campers enjoy traditional camp activities, including archery, backpacking, canoeing, climbing, tennis, swimming, as well as the opportunity to develop interests in science and camp crafts under the guidance of our experienced staff. Chincapin campers enjoy advancing through their horseback riding program.

The Audubon Center of the North Woods, an NCA-accredited residential environmental learning center, is a leader in offering meaningful nature experiences to people of all ages. Through our North Woods Wilderness Adventures, we provide a different kind of summer camp experience - an opportunity to engage teens in nature through a variety of outdoor activities and challenges that promote environmental awareness, compassion, teamwork and an ethic of care for the earth.

Our wilderness adventures start at our center on 535 acres on the east side of Grindstone Lake in east central Minnesota, where campers prepare for their trip by reviewing canoeing and camping skills. Camp Menogyn is located on Bearskin Lake near Grand Marais, MN. Menogyn offers Teen Wilderness Adventures such as canoeing, backpacking and rock climbing trips in the Boundary Waters and across North America. We provide safe, fun and enriching wilderness adventures from 8-50 days long, supported by highly-trained trail counselors and staff.

Culver prepares young people for leadership, responsible citizenship and help develop lifetime interests and skills with exciting, challenging activities that nurture the mind, body, character and spirit. Culver's unique camp experience offer campers, from around the world, a summer of fun and memories.
