| The U.S. Army Cadet Corps' Military Adventure Camp is - by far - the most realistic and challenging military training program available to a teenager who is interested in our country's Armed Forces. Basic Cadet Training (BCT). This two-week adventure is often known as "Boot Camp." Basic Cadet Training is physically and mentally demanding, with heavy emphasis on personal accountability and teamwork. Each Cadet Recruit is assigned to a platoon of 18-25 Recruits lead by a Cadet Troop Handler and trained by a qualified Drill Sergeant. Basic Leader Course (BLC) An intense three-week program for graduates of Recruit Training or CTC. BLC provides advanced orientation in basic leadership, troop leading procedures, risk assessment, land navigation and field training, marksmanship, self-defense and team-building activities. The Army Cadet Martial Arts Program (TACMAP) A one-week advanced martial arts training program based on rigid military standards, plus high-adventure recreational activities. TACMAP utilizes MCJKKD as its main training format, which includes a combination of Self Defense, Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu, Karate, Boxing and Wrestling. Ultimate Military Adventure (UMA) Six weeks of basic training, advanced training, practical leadership and career exploration experience, as well as a one-week recreational program focusing on military martial arts. |

| Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, established in 1896, provides youth ages 7-17 traditional summer camp experiences in a Resident and Day Camp setting. Parents call it "A genuine 'camp' experience." Nestled on 72 acres of rolling hills on Phantom Lake in southeastern Wisconsin, campers have many activities to choose from in a safe and nurturing environment and are encouraged to grow physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. Some of the activities include sailing, swimming, crafts, paddle sports, small trips, theater, dance, disc golf, nature, target sports and the zip line! Other specialty programs are a robotics, golf soccer and skateboard specialty. | St. Francis Camp is a 19 acre specialty camp for cognitively impaired children and adults. We encourage our campers' use of daily living skills while at camp, and we also follow any special behavior or social plan they may have in place. Most daily activities at St. Francis Camp are camper led and cover one or more of these developmental skill areas: fine motor; gross motor, socialization; and, sensory integration. Examples of these activities are: swimming; boating; fishing; canoeing; paddle boating (all of these are supervised by certified waterfront staff); basketball; volleyball; ice cream socials; hiking; dances; sing-a-longs; arts and crafts; nature study; . . . all the usual summer camp fun plus much, much more! | The EAA Air Academy is a unique aviation summer camp for young people ages 12-18. Each participant depending on their age will spend between 5 and 9 days at the EAA Air Academy Lodge. The program uses top-notch aviation instructors with over 200 years of combined experience that will provide the best experience possible for each participant. They will experience many hands-on activities, i.e. wing rib building, composite and fiberglass construction, weight and balance, rockets, sheet metal, welding, flight simulation, challenge ropes course and many other exciting activities. Each session includes a flight with a CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) in a real airplane where campers, after take-off, take control of the aircraft and learn the various attitudes and wonders of the aircraft and where their flight time can be log in their own personal logbook. The camps provide a wonderful introduction to aviation and an experience that will last a lifetime. All fees include room and board, programs and flight. |
