Outward Bound Wilderness, a national nonprofit organization, offers over 500 adventure-based wilderness courses - year round - serving adults, teens and youth (ages 12+).

Course activities include rock climbing, sea kayaking, backpacking, mountaineering, sailing, dogsledding, canoeing and rafting in some of the most untouched wilderness areas across the nation. No matter the activity, courses focus on learning through experience, compassion, leadership and responsibility to both team and the environment. Courses range in length from 4 days to three months in length. Scholarships are available.

Cedar Ridge Camp is a traditional camp experience which focuses on the interaction between campers and the environment. The Camp provides a safe and friendly atmosphere where children will develop physical, emotional, social skills and values that last a lifetime. Our diverse terrain and waterfront are ideal settings for many different types of adventure pursuits.

As a group participates in activities together they form close bonds, learning the values of teamwork, compromise and satisfaction of personal achievement and skill accumulation through hard work and play.

Located on the shores of Stave Lake in Mission, the Zajac Ranch for Children is a western themed camp offering weekend and week long sessions for children with serious/chronic illnesses and disabilities. Here children are able to develop and enhance their own abilities while sharing with others that are experiencing the same things as they are. The Zajac Ranch houses a 24-hr Medical Centre staffed with volunteer doctors and nurses who are able to provide the medical needs of every child that attends. Our Counselors are caring, friendly and experienced and are trained to meet the needs of each individual camper.

Activities include: horseback riding, archery, high ropes course, climbing wall, low ropes course, arts and crafts, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and more. Summer Camp season begins in July and ends in August, with Spring Break and Fall Retreat sessions offered.

Incredible new facility for 2008 is the Mishmar Ice Palace, our on-site ice hockey & skating arena. This will be heaven for campers into hockey. Now they can combine a traditional summer camp experience with tons of ice time featuring tournaments and skill drills. Also, nightly "disco-skating" will be a fun way for campers to stay fit.

We create a warm, relaxed, family atmosphere at camp through much personal attention to each camper. By making campers feel that they are at a "home away from home", they are much more at ease to participate & enjoy activities and get used to group living. In order to preserve the special feeling of closeness which we have developed at camp, we purposely limit the camp registration. Same-family ownership since 1941!

The Summer Soccer Camp is based on the development of soccer skills as well as opportunity for each camper to work with Councilors who have a well achieved sports background. Each day has been planned out to work on certain aspects of the game. The campers will also be introduced to Judo sessions to improve their own personal self confidence as well as techniques which will provide them with the necessary skills to prevent injury. There are supervised runs through the nature trails and field trips to beaches/lakes in the surrounding area.

Located in the Town of Powassan, Ontario, the DLB Academy is situated near Lake Nipissing as well as a vast array of small lakes. The Almaguin Highlands provide many nature and hiking trails, as well as scenery that captures the essence of the small Northern town.

Since 1943, Canadian and international campers have joined together for a summer of fun, laughter, friendships, sports, activities, adventures and memories. Located on Fairy Lake in the beautiful Muskoka region of Ontario, Swallowdale Camp welcomes campers ages 7 - 15. Cabins accommodate 8-12 campers in bunk beds. Staff are also housed in a separate room within the cabin to ensure proper supervision at all times. Each cabin has electricity, a toilet and a sink. Central showers are also available. Campers are divided by age and gender, and take pride in being part of their "cabin family" in friendly competitions and games. Our campers are never bored. Every day they choose 5 sport or specialty activities from a vast array of options. All activities are instructed and supervised by dedicated camp staff. Summer school need not be boring. The educational language programme at Brébeuf in Montreal is both fun and exciting. International students join Canadian students in a cultural exchange of ideas.
