Located on the shores of Stave Lake in Mission, the Zajac Ranch for Children is a western themed camp offering weekend and week long sessions for children with serious/chronic illnesses and disabilities. No experience is required for many trips. Camp Valaqua is a small camp located 45 minutes from Calgary Alberta. Valaqua is a place of community, learning, and adventure. Our program features classic camp activities such as archery, climbing wall and canoeing and many more! Founded in 1975, this modern camp is nestled into the natural surroundings of 160 acre Adventure Island. Our goal is to help young people grow into responsible, well-rounded citizens by expanding their skills and knowledge within the fun and friendship of a warm camp atmosphere.
