Mid-Island Y JCC Day Camps

The Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center believes that the real "value" of camp is the value of friendship. Situated on more than 350 acres, the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds located in Wheatley Heights, Long Island is home to a myriad of summer programming for children of all ages. Whether your child is enrolled in one of our day camps, sport camps, Aspire Program for children with special needs or specialty theatre camp, each offers an action-packed schedule emphasizing caring, sharing and respect for friends old and new.

Camp program activities include: American Red Cross swim instruction, zip line and low ropes challenge courses, archery, baseball, dance, Ga-Ga, soccer, mini-golf, pioneering, photography, music, nature hikes, Jewish culture and much more. Special events include: Themed dress-up days, late night activities, live entertainers, day trips, Maccabi Games (color war) and carnival to name a few.
