Buck's Rock Performing & Creative Arts Camp

Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp is a unique teenage program where campers have the freedom to choose their activities in a supportive, nurturing environment. An educational institution that has never lost faith in the innate capacity of young people to structure their time intelligently and to use freedom courageously and productively, Buck's Rock is educationally oriented, with an emphasis on process rather than product, and growth and learning. Buck's Rock offers a safe, non-competitive environment where campers, ages 9-16, work with qualified, professional artists and teachers who nurture and support their skills and interests in professionally equipped studios. Our camper/staff ratio is an impressive two to one.

Activities include: acting and musical theater, clowning & improvisation, music, recording studio, dance, technical theater, glassblowing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, metalsmithing, ceramics, computers, leather, video, culinary arts, digital photo, weaving, sewing, batik, bookarts, creative writing, layout & design, sports, animal farm, etc.
