Camp Akeela is a co-ed, overnight camp in Vermont. Within a well-rounded and traditional program we emphasize the social growth of our campers, many of whom have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder level 1 (Asperger's), a learning difference, or a similar ASD or neurodivergent profile.

Akeela is a small and intentional community that values and celebrates each camper and staff member. Campers make life-long friends, build character, increase self-confidence, practice independence, and leave camp with lasting memories filled with fun and spirit.

Our traditional camp was designed specifically for "quirky" boys and girls who are finishing grades 3 - 10. For older teens, currently in grades 10 - 12, we offer Beyond Akeela.
