Sea Turtle Camp

Sea Turtle Camp is the ultimate marine biology summer camp for teenagers. Come stay on the campus of UNC-Wilmington, located in the coastal community of Wilmington, North Carolina, and become fully immersed in the incredible world of sea turtles.

In addition to working with the staff at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital, we'll explore several fields of marine biology. We'll become Aquarists at the NC Aquarium, study dune erosion and renourishment while learning about ocean and wave dymanics, and go kayaking through our amazing estuaries. Coastal conservation is a compelling mission of this camp, so we'll spend up to 20 community service hours working on eco-service projects that will directly improve the health of our coast.
