A unique camp designed to meet the needs of individuals with special needs in a beautiful, forest setting. All faciliites and activities are accessible and planned with individual abilities in mind. Campers range in age from seven years old to seventy and disabilities range from mild to severe and are physical and/or develomental in nature. The camp program emphasizes independence and social growth.

Camp activities include: swimming, horseback riding, crafts, nature studies, fine arts, sports and recreation, journalism and life skills classes. All activities are adapted to mee the individual needs of each participant.

A hands-on, behind-the-scenes residential camp experience at SeaWorld. Campers will have up-close interactions with animals, spend time with animal trainers and keepers, ride world-class rides and explore the great outdoors.

In addition to bringing campers close to our incredible animals, SeaWorld San Diego’s unique learning environment fosters exploration, inquiry, and self-discovery. Grades 4-12.

Learn to sail a tall ship and learn marine science while exploring the Southern California Channel Islands. The program is designed to build minds and character through a live-a-board sailing experience aboard the 156' tall ship TOLE MOUR. One-week, two-week, and three-week cruises available; opens in July ending in August; ages 10-18

Coloma Outdoor Discovery School's Adventure Camp is a guaranteed fun way to motivate campers to go beyond their perceived boundaries, stimulate critical thinking, and encourage group cooperation.

Camp activities include ropes challenge course, white water rafting, kayaking, hiking, swimming, a sleep-out under the stars and interactive campfire programs. Rawhide Ranch, as seen in USA Today, was established in 1963. Campers learn to ride in our nationally accredited western riding program. The daily schedule features western riding & vaulting (gymnastics on horseback) lessons, animal care time, animal & horse science classes along with a variety of electives to choose from such as roping, archery, drama, crafts, weekly newspaper, climbing tower, dance, sports/games, swimming/water slide. New electives in 2008 - Ranch Life, Intro to Rodeo, Basic Soccer Skills.

Traditional camp activities combined with astronomy, rocketry, space exploration, physical science activities and more. Camp season opens in June and ends in August. One and two week sessions, ages 8 to 16.

Camp Nor'wester provides a unique outdoor living experience where young people are challenged to develop skills that increase self confidence and encourage respect, responsibility and compassion for themselves, their community and the environment. Camp Nor'wester offers two 4-week sessions for campers 11-16 years of age and two 2-week sessions for campers 9-10.

Activities include: sailing, kayaking, high/low ropes course, arts and crafts, drama, nature studies, archery, adobe oven. Out of camp overnights for everyone; 4-5 day trips for 13-16 year olds.

Nestled among the hills of the Los Padres National Forest, the private, tucked-away 55 acre resident camp is bounded by hiking trails and hosts an abundance of wildlife in an oak woodland area. Cachuma Lake and its amenities are within easy walking distance.

5 day sessions in July and August. Membership to the Boys and Girls Club is included in the cost of the camp. Scholarships are available. Campers are between the ages of 6 and 13 years old.

Family owned and operated since 1945. Located in a pine forest on Bass Lake near Yosemite National Park. Campers specifically like that they get to chose the activities they participate in. All campers live in small cabins. Activities include all of the traditional camp activites such as waterskiing, horseback riding, ropes course.
