Since 1916 there has been something very special happening out on a peninsula at Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks. All summer the forests and lakes reverberate with the sounds of laughter, cheering and fun, It's all part of camp life at Raquette Lake Camps. For generations, children from 6-16 years old spend seven adventure filled weeks they will remember all their lives. At Raquette Lake Camps, children are given a very special opportunity to explore new things, live with their friends, make decisions independent of their parents, and truly discover themselves.

Cherith camps cover North America and provide a unique setting away from a camper's normal activities. Camp Cherith is a wonderful environment for teaching Christian values and life skills in the camp setting. It is a place where campers learn to make Christ a part of every aspect of their life.

Each of the 22 camps offer a variety of skill activities and outdoor experiences from the traditional camp experiences such as archery, swimming, crafts, and canoeing, to activities such as waterskiing, rock climbing, sailing, and mountain biking that are unique to their geographical area. Some camps have girls weeks, boys weeks, coed, or a combination. Cherith Camping has been around for 60 plus years, is inter-denominational, and affiliated with Pioneer Clubs. The Susquehannock Camps encourage the moral, social, and physical development of campers. Operating as brother and sister camps, Susquehannock for Boys and Susquehannock for Girls run independent programs across the 100-acre campus. Each camp has its own individual traditions that its campers hold dear. Some co-ed activities are organized for older campers.

Activities include: Soccer, Tennis, Basketball, Lacrosse, Field & Street Hockey, Swimming, Sailing, Canoeing, Football, Softball, Baseball, Volleyball, Golf, Wrestling, Aikido, Horseback Riding, Ultimate Frisbee, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Archery, Nautilus Weights, Confidence Building Courses, Lake Activities, Arts & Crafts and Woodworking. Camp Watonka was founded to provide a 'hands-on' science program where campers could gain experience in a wide range of sciences in a fun, interactive way. Our well equipped laboratories, well qualified staff and small groups combine to provide an exciting and educational program.

In addition to the sciences, many other activities are available including crafts, woodshop, minibikes, mountain bikes, climbing, ropes, archery, rifle and a full range of sports, boating, sailing and swimming.

A Tradition of Fun Since 1898, Camp Greenbrier for Boys is located in the Alleghany Mountains along the beautiful Greenbrier River. It is a wonderful, safe place where campers have fun, develop self-confidence, and make lifelong friends.

Boys 7 to 15 years old take part in the traditional camp program that includes archery and rifle, rock climbing, canoeing, snorkeling, kayaking, baseball, basketball, soccer, golf, tennis, swimming, lacrosse, and many others. For rising 11th and 12th graders, or those who turn 16 by the start of the program, the Leadership Academy offers young men the chance to test their leadership skills in a physically and intellectually challenging two-week adventure.

Camy Airy, in Thrumont, MD has been in the business of making a difference in Jewish boys' lives for 84 summers. Airy is a residential camp located in the spectacular mountains of Western Maryland, about 1 hour from Baltimore and Washington.

Our experienced staff of college age counselors and adult educators offer a wide variety of activities including Swim, SCUBA, Athletics, Drama, Music Photography, Outdoor Living, Nature Study, Crafts, Video, Radio, Robotics, Mountain Boarding, Skate Boarding, Outdoor Adventure Trips, Mountain Biking, DJ'ing, Newspaper, Shabbat Services.
